Naked Solar Ltd Reviews

Battery and solars fitted, didnt hassle me after the 1st inquiry, all the information about how it would work and energy made was great to see. Thought the whole process i felt when I asked something it was always answered and I could stop and change stuff at any point until the product order went in, even when they came to fif everything I had the option to move thing if I wanted to. After sales has been great emails answered within 24hours normally a follow up call aswell.
From Zoe in sales to Rhys the fitter and Jonna in after sales, all great people, lots of other people have also helped, the scaffolding company they use are extremely clean and quick aswell.
Thanks

Clear professional informed and not overtly selling - but informing.

Though early in the process, communication and info thus far with Naked Solar has been exceptional.

The one SW solar company that was able to provide helpful and comprehensive quotes, with a sensible and friendly team.

A first class service to date as i have just placed my order with the company

The team at Naked Solar were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They took the time to understand our needs and the specifics of our home then developed and delivered a system that was perfect for us. Everyone we spoke to or worked on site were courteous and professional. We're delighted.

Naked Solar were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They were 100% reliable in sticking to their commitments and communicating with them was extremely quick and easy. I was delighted with how the installation went (both functionally and aesthetically) and all the approvals and paperwork were handled promptly. I'm very happy that I chose Naked Solar and would certainly highly recommend them.

Excellent experience from my initial enquiry to post-installation follow-up. Clear communication from Zoe , who was helpful , efficient and patient with my many questions. I appreciated Naked's transparency around pricing. Neil, Adam and installation team were reliable, courteous and professional. Peter was helpful post-installation. Great team! Highly recommend!

Really positive experience of naked solar. The design was adapted to suit or needs, the site team went above and beyond, and the sales/admin/support team were on hand as required.

I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar

Had battery storage installed without any problems. Recently I had an issue of my own making but the tech team helped me rectify thing back to normal

Second purchase from Naked Solar because they provide an excellent service.

On time, on budget, excellent customer service, installation and follow up people. Couldn't have been a better experience.

We asked Naked Solar Ltd to install 16 solar panels, and a Tesla Powerwall, based on the level of confidence we had for the proposal, installation plan and warranty. This came from discussing our requirements with Zach, in the Newquay HQ and the on site survey conducted by Joe from the Bristol Hub.

The 2 day installation by the team from the Bristol Hub went smoothly and without any issues that we were aware of. The team were very professional, keeping us informed at each stage of the installation and did a great job of offering advice and guidance to ensure we would get the maximum benefit from the system.

At the time of this review, the system has been operating for 4 weeks while the UK experiences a heatwave. It’s therefore probably not unexpected that PV generation is significantly better than the predicted. A very welcome surprise!

The staff at Naked Solar Ltd know their stuff and were excellent ‘ambassadors’ for the company. We would particularly like to thank the team from the Bristol Hub. They were easy to host and a pleasure to have working in and around the house during the installation.

Without hesitation we would recommend Naked Solar Ltd to anyone considering a solar and storage installation.

We engaged with Naked Solar in early May 2026 having obtained quotes from 2 other companies. Although they weren't the cheapest, we decided to go ahead with them based on recommendations from our neighbours and from the confidence we got from our initial meeting with Sean. Installation was scheduled for and went ahead in mid-July.

Our installation presented everyone with some challenges not least because we were having panels installed on both the south and north facing sides of the house containing several Velux windows - 4 on the south side, 2 on the north, plus one or two other obstacles. So far from a blank canvas to work with!

The two things that didn't go smoothly:

1. the initial quote had to be revised to reflect an omitted item and extra labour required for installation of the panels on to our nailed slate roof. The company did apologise for this and we did come to a compromise with regards to the extra cost.

2. on the first day of the installation, the original plan for the panel placement had to be changed when the roofers discovered, despite an extensive survey, the position of the roof timbers. This was resolved within a few hours when they came up with an alternative plan to still fit the original number of panels and still obtain an aesthetically pleasing design. It was encouraging that consultation about the revised plan involved us the customers as well as others at Naked Solar HQ,

We have to say the installation team were brilliant - both electricians and roofing team. They worked incredibly hard and we felt part of that team during discussions about the routing of the wiring, placement of the inverter/battery kit, etc. We were kept in the loop throughout the process and our 2 day installation, in the end took 4 days due to the various challenges! But Naked Solar gave us confidence that they were on top of things throughout.

In summary, we would recommend using this company again. :-)

We chose Naked Solar because they were a Cornwall company first. We were a little cautious about the whole venture but we were quickly won over by the excellent sales team, which worked hard to identify our requirements. This is important as it is a confidence building part of such an investment. Once we had decided to go forward the whole installation team, timeline and support was quite excellent. Problems were negotiated very quickly and throughout they communicated very clearly and effectively. We were fortunate to have our own electrician on board as part of the house renovation at the same time and they were able to provide the additional technical capability that made the insatllation seamless. Very impressed and they were also superb in making it easy to link into our supplier for the important return to grid electric supply. Would recommend Naked Solar strongly to anyone lese making such a transition.

Excellent.

I first engaged with Naked Solar late Autumn 2025. Kieran Somerfield was 'front of house'. With my background in property & the built environment, I am fastidious about detail & comms. Kieran's engagement (on behalf of Naked Solar) was first rate. I want to acknowledge this. It was the catalyst for moving forward.
Even though my project was relatively small, it still had challenges to surmount, especially the state of the existing pitched roof.
Success was achieved in removing the barriers to progress. Naked Solar installed the panels in July 2026. The process was as efficient and smooth as it could be. The installment team (post survey some weeks earlier) were focused and delivered.
I have no hesitation in recommending Naked Solar.

We had 14 solar panels and a Tesla battery fitted by Naked Solar on 22/23 June 2026. Naked Solar were great from start to finish with this project. Every appointment scheduled was kept, everybody involved was friendly, courteous and tidy. Every stage was explained in detail and we would not hesitate to recommend Naked Solar.

Be aware of maintenance and repair charges! I have been charged £235 + VAT for 25 minutes for an electrician to identify an issue with a £6 MCB fuse and then replace it. This is less than two years after the system was installed, and after having bought two systems from Naked Solar over the last 7 years. I was very happy with the quality of the installations; less so with the repair charges!

First class customer service and kept me informed each step of the way.
Very knowledgeable and advised me of options.

Excellent from start to finish. Professional, clear advice, honest interactions. Went away to find answers if they weren't sure.
Once we chose them, good service continued, workmen all very polite and clean and knowledgeable. Turn up on time and do a good job. Leave you with a great system working as it should. Could not be happier.
