National Scrap Car Reviews

Quick, efficient and courteous. Great service.

Communications was great through out - there was a delay to car collection, which they informed us of and why..

Payment was efficient

NCS was very helpful in securing a very reasonable quote for my car and my interaction with them was efficient, helpful and professional.

Booked in my car to be picked up, really courteous guy picked it up in the morning. Just handed over the keys and log book and had payment into my account within a few hours. Very straightforward, very simple.

Unfortunately, my wife had to scrap her car because the engine developed a major fault that was uneconomical to repair and replace. I googled how to scrap a car in the UK, these guys came up, I contacted them and they took the process up from there.

My understanding is that they liaise with a number of salvage firms to get the best offer they can for the car. They then act as a go-between agent if there's a bit of to-and-fro on the price, and then, if a final price can be agreed, they hand over to the salvage firm, who take it from there.

I found this agent to be very efficient and easy to deal with. Of course they wanted my business, but I felt they also genuinely wanted to get us the best offer they could for my wife's car. I would therefore highly recommend them.

Straightforward and simple, and got a fantastic price for my car.
There was clear communication at every step.

Organising removal of car was organised quickly over the phone

Other than an initial delay regarding the collection date the experience was very efficient and payment prompt

Everything they said they would do was done.

They answered any questions I had, were patient, did all the hard work of getting rid of a car really. Very happy with their fast, reliable, easy to use service with pick up included. Was sooo much easier than trying to sell a car, less stress, gone and forgotten so I can get on with life and not paperwork.
