5 star windscreen repair
The mechanic worked really quickly and was able to repair my windscreen rather than replace it and it took less time than anticipated, he was also really friendly and helpful which made the whole experience better as a lone woman!

Very friendly and welcoming
Very friendly and welcoming, apologies I can’t remember the gentleman’s name. I got my window repaired 25/08/26. My window had been shattered after being locked out of the car so there was still some glass in the door. They managed to get it all out and it was done within 2 hours. Very pleased and would highly recommend

The surroundings are grubby, but the job will be tidy.
The staff is what made the experience great, introduced to the guy working on the car, office manager was polite and all the service was excellent. They could do with the company providing them with some creature comforts, a coffee machine etc. If these guys were normal for this company, then this company is very lucky.

Friendly Helpful Manager.
Luke the manager in Gloucester was friendly and helpful. The problem was the length of time I had to wait for the windscreen to be replaced. My appointment was postponed so in the end I had to wait almost 4 weeks, and I was unable to use my vehicle in the meantime which impacted my work in the NHS however, the service I eventually received was excellent.

appointment cancelled twice moved depots to completely different depot after fit part of the windscreen plastic came loos on the motorway

Total Disappointment
I booked an appointment to replace my cracked windscreen on 24th June. The date was given as 6th July. On 1st July i was asked to pay the amount which i did promptly and received receipt. On 3rd July i was told that the concern local fitter has gone on sudden leave and hence postponed to 14th July. I was waiting as i received a email that i should be at home for the appointment. But to my surprise i received a call around 10am and told that the local branch doesn't have any person to come and fit. Customer support found another date as 23rd July but at the same time messaged me to contact local branch with a quote number. When i called them no one is picking during the open timings. Absolutely gutted and don't know when it will be fixed

Great service
Great service, he came out in the scorching 34degree heat and fitted a whole new windscreen for me.
Only thing was I needed some trim clips replacing and still waiting for those over a week later.

Overall good but with room for improvement with certain aspects
The person who fitted the new windscreen was friendly, professional & worked well. He turned up on time & got straight on with the job, fitting the new screen well within the estimated time given.
However the wait for fitting the windscreen was a week, which was too long considering my vehicle was not road safe to drive for this period.
I thought the communication received from the start to the finish of the process was particularly good with useful updates.
The excess I had to pay for the new replacement windscreen for my particular vehicle was excessive, considering it was a very basic screen without any special sensors or heating elements. It made the so called benefit of insurance rather pointless! Although this was down to my insurance company & not the fault of National Windscreens.
So overall very good. My only gripe was the inconvenience regarding the length of time it took, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
