Very Poor service - pertains to east London branch

Negatives:
-our first cleaner cancelled on us twice with very little notice so couldn't find replacement.
-on the third time our cleaner couldn't make it we were given a replacement who did an extremely poor job. this includes not hoovering all he should have, didn't clean the bathrooms as requested and left patches of caked in dirt. Did not touch entire rooms despite being asked.
-I would post photos on here but am unable to.

Very disappointed. I’ve had a cleaner through Nationwide since January and she was shocking let’s put it that way - including leaving a nearly full coke can in my fabric ‘paper waste’ basket. Ruined the basket and I had to re mop the floor myself. Number of things that just weren’t up to scratch, for example not cleaning around the bath and sinks properly, but it did get better for a while until she decided not to turn up on a couple of occasions. On the final one, she turned off her phone and was uncontactable making me late for an appointment and then called me repeatedly at the time the clean should have finished until I had to ask her to leave me alone. I contacted the company and they didn’t seem to be very shocked or do much about it. I asked for another cleaner and they said they’d send me the details and they never did. I chased as I’m moving house and needed a final clean and no answer. Really disappointed!

I had a bad experience with a company of similar name and mistook it for this company.
On trying to rectify the situation, I found Peter to be very pleasant and understanding.

Didn't even bother to get back to me when I requested a quote, had to use a different service.

Addition 10/08/20: email address provided did not work, owner tried to have review removed, I'm not continuing to chase as I have found an alternative provider.

Claire does 4 hour pw for me and she is a Godsend we have 4 very large dogs and the house is spotless when she goes! I don’t know how I managed without her!!

Terrible company.
Waited ages for a response and none was forthcoming.
Tried email and phone, just completely ignored.
Avoid.

Edit- Peter, despite your considerable efforts to get this review expunged I won't be editing my response. I contacted oxfordshireATnationwidecleaners.co.uk. I spoke to Karen and she did not respond to me, did not get back to me. I followed up with several emails, they were all ignored. I provided email evidence to Trust Pilot as proof of this. The review stands. Maybe next time your agents can get back to people and you won't get reviews like this. I have a different cleaner now- one that responds to emails and calls.

Awful experience. The communication was very poor with the Franchisee. He eventually organised for a cleaner to come and she got in touch. But on the date agreed, she did not show up. After several calls, heorganised for a back up person to come 2 hours later. The cleaner was sub-standard. She was very slow and cleaned the house extremely slow.
In addition, I found out that he pays his cleaners £9/hr and keeps £5/hr for the company. In my books, this seems an unfair profit. All in all, I would not recommend them. I will not use them again.

Although the business owner is honest and trying to run an honest business, his fanchisees may not always be as well meaning as he is.
I do not recommend this business.

Excellent company. Our cleaner is always on time and does an excellent job of cleaning our entire house, and asks if there is anything else we need her to do. She even interacts with our many pets. We always accommodate each others needs when needed and keeps us informed of any holidays or time off she needs, or if we need to change the day she cleans and if needed the company can arrange for someone else to clean.

I am very disappointed with my old cleaner from another company until my friend recommends Nationwide Cleaners to me. I spoke to the one in charge over the phone and they accommodate my request, they provided me a reliable and trustworthy cleaner. I am hoping to work with them in a long term.

We have been a client for a number of years and always found them to always provide prompt and reliable cleaners.

The worst company I have had to deal with in a long time!
I arranged for cleaning to take place a number of weeks ago on a Thursday afternoon, after leaving work early to allow the cleaner in, they never showed up. I tried calling the cleaner but there was no answer, I called my contact with whom I had arranged the cleaner and she was unable to get hold of the cleaner either. Therefore a wasted afternoon off work.
I have never had any cleaning services (as no one showed up), I cancelled my direct debit but as it was close to the time of the money leaving my account, I contacted Nationwide Cleaners to ensure the money wasn’t collected....it was and after much assurances I would be refunded, I have still not received a refund! Awful customer service (it took a week to reply to a text message!) and frankly, if they behave like this I wouldn’t trust them in my home so I believe I had a lucky escape!

Brilliant clean and I was really happy to have ironing included as well. I will recommend it to my friends.

Today was meant to be the 1st, clean except no show for the cleaner, turns out she had a hospital appointment, unless you go provide, most people know you never come out on time! Where was the heads up! I call up the rep and well, not sure what he did in the last hour, certainly wasn't to find a replacement! Very unprofessional and poor service.
