Ordered a hot toy via partial.ly more than a year ago. No sign of it, as expected. Managed to get a pretty easy refund from Partial.ly thank goodness but I know not everyone has been this lucky. AVOID THIS PLACE
Absolute disgrace
Absolute disgrace. Been waiting over a year for an item I paid for. No replies to my emails to start with. Then a sob story about how the owner was ill but I’m passed having any sympathy. Constantly promising the item would be shipped the following week. Now nothing, no response to my emails and no item received. Don’t buy anything from them. You’ll be sorry if you do! Not even deserving of the one star. Jokers.
Avoid
Ordered a figure in March of last year. It was due out in November and never arrived. As with many on here I have had no response to emails requesting a refund. Avoid buying from this company.

Same as others, did not receive my order and communication went completely dark months ago.
Shame too, they had the best price for the figure I was looking for and now everywhere else is sold out.
Luckily I bought the item via partial.ly so I was easily able to get a refund though them, I hope others can get help too in that matter.

Shouldn’t be allowed to keep trading ! Ignoring all emails regarding missing pre-ordered items after taking payment , been waiting over 5 months ! Just a bunch of thieves , sooner they are shut down and prosecuted the better

@Eoin Barnes from what i have read, and please correct me if im wrong, if a company is struck off then it is gone. If, as a creditor, you contest it and can prove that you are owed money and also that you have been trying to contact the company to get your money back, then it will be classed as a insolvency. But again, please correct me if im wrong.
A business must be solvent and not owe any money if it is to be struck off.

PayPal won't help as the full payment was made over 180 pays ago and my bank won't touch it as it was a PayPal payment. The company is due to be dissolved soon according to Companies House. Do I just suck this up?? There must be something else we can do? especially if enough of us have had our money stolen.

Jason & Nerd toys were always my go to. What on earth happened. I’ve paid money for pre orders and absolutely nothing; no products, no updates, no replies, just taken my money like a thief in the night. Shame on you Jason, shame on you!

With many emails and messages left on FB messenger I have had no reply from Jason.

Put in a pre-order on a 19inch Jungle…
Put in a pre-order on a 19inch Jungle Predator figure last June, which was supposed to be delivered in January. It hasn't turned up, my emails asking for an update, and now emails requesting a refund have been ignored. I don't know what's going with this company, but I'm contacting trading standards first thing on Monday to see if they can help recover the £140 that they owe me.

Preordered an Indiana Jones action figure. Told it was gonna be coming. Paid for the whole thing. No communication, no action figure.
This guy is a total scam and scumbag.

2 pre orders over a year old, I emailed to change the delivery address as I moved house and had a reply that said it was done and then I've heard nothing since, I've emailed multiple times on all the different email addresses they have given and to this day I've heard nothing, £180 down and nothing to show for it.
I have no idea what has happened to this once good company but I won't be ordering anything else from here ever again.
Terrible service and by the look of it I'm not alone, I hope someone can shed light on what went wrong for them, I'm guessing greed.

I pre-ordered an item in late 2021 that was listed for a Q1 2023 release (and is still listed on the site for a Q1 release).
Not only have I not received the item (Q1 expired March 31st), but my requests to the seller for a refund have been ignored, and I can't claim against it with PayPal because the dispute window has expired.
DO NOT PART MONEY WITH THESE GUYS!

Ordered £67 worth of pre-orders. When it got close to the PayPal cut off I questioned if it was arriving so Jason called me to reassure me the order was still coming. June 23 and they are now ignoring emails and messages. They are scammers. Avoid!

My experience is similar to pretty much everyone else's over the last couple of months. I've bought from these guys for a few years with few issues, although along the way I've had to chase for things to actually get them delivered.
Luckily I had the feeling this guy Jason was more & more becoming a wide-boy thief & a couple of months ago managed to get refunds on a couple of expensive pre-order things I didn't trust to be delivered. After much back & forth I got those refunds. But I still had 1 pre-order which I sadly trusted him with. After many emails back & forth with "It'll be there tomorrow" and "I'll send it tomorrow" I just gave up. No replies to emails anymore for where this is or for a refund.
Finally got refunded for my last pre-order item back through bank, but my dad, who pre-ordered a NECA item for me for my birthday never arrived (Due Jan 23, available elsewhere for months) and he's not replying to him either & he's having to mess about with his bank to get a refund.
Contacted trading standards about Jason & his unethical practices, I suggest everyone else does the same.
I spoke to Jason on the phone last year (after another delay/mess up on his part in something) and tbh, he sounded like an idiot & was full of promises. The whiney emails this year, full of spelling and grammatical mistakes summed it up for me. If you can't provide for your customers, refund and close. If you can't even proof read, well...
The phone number he called me on - 01375 470396 - is now discontinued too.
Sad to say, but lost faith in some independents because of this thief.

Ordered items back in December. Have had to constantly chase up where they are. No answer to multiple emails sent. Another of the many unhappy people regarding this company. Do not part with youre money shop elsewhere.

Con merchants! don't answer emails, take your money & run. I am now now having to go through PayPal for reimbursement.

Like many others I was owed a lot of money from Nerd Toys and the current situation has been very stressful with the lack of communication and not calling back when he said he would, but today I received a phone call from Jason and he refunded me all the money that I was owed.
