One rotten Apple that spoils the whole barrel
There is a saying: "one rotten apple spoils the whole barrel"!
I have been supporting them from day one (2011) and slowly moving more businesses to them, from the early days of Webcentral and MelbourneIT! We have 2 major incidents with Netvirtue (major faults from them), but we worked with them knowing that there are teething issues as part of "growth" and with any IT - "even fish drown". BUT there is ONE staff that needs to polish up how to assist "buffoon" like me in non-IT qualified area. In other areas like Engineeering, Law, Finance, International trades and NGO works worldwide, I will have him for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The day of the 1st dot.com and hard coding HTML were gone with me so whenever I face this particular chap at Netvirtue (name withheld), I just need to "turn the other cheek" and humble myself in meekness and take the punishment, and see past him for the other good apples ie Adrian, Rileigh, D'Arcy to name a few! Hope Dean Walsh (CEO - still?) wakes up to this review and that good hard work can be easily be undone with one ungrateful staff, zero tolerance for non-IT, know it all, etc... elements that should not be in the role of customer/tech support! I hope I am not an idiot and a fool to continue with Netvirtue. But to the rest out there, Netvirue is good, having had experiences with others in US, CA, UK, and AU. You just need to avoid this ONE staff if possible! Perhaps he is the CEO albeit the attitude of "take it or leave it", bigger fish out there.
