Newlands Sports Reviews

I had a fantastic time at the cricket net session! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The on-site shop is a great bonus — well-stocked and very approachable.

Great place & service …. We have purchased many items and use the lane regular.

Really helpful and good advice

Easy to order, quick delivery. Good customer service all round.

Amazing place to train and practise

Great to have another place to go and. Have a net
Also having the bowling machine available is a bonus

best place to practice

Very welcoming, really helpful and my son thoroughly enjoyed the auto machine in the nets. Thank you.

I reserved a batting lane for an hour for my son and took advantage of the bowling machine. The experience was fantastic. It offered excellent value for the price, and the staff was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend it.

The staff is exceptional, and the facility is outstanding.

I purchased a Mr. Cricket mug and unfortunately, the handle was broken upon arrival, likely due to the delivery service. I reached out to the store, and they promptly sent a replacement. The service was excellent, and Amanda, who assisted me, was fantastic. The mug itself is also wonderful.

Great facility, very friendly staff, highly recommended

Easy to use equipment and efficient set up

Really good unit and the only one around that I’m aware of. The bowling machine is really good and offers all sorts of variations. Personally, I think it’s better going in a two as the second person can adjust the machine between balls to make it more difficult and realistic.

Friendly, helpful staff and a great facility

Great facility, always helpful, and take the time to make sure you are getting the correct equipment.
The batting lane is very good value for money also and my boy is already asking to go again.

Used the bowling lane a few times now, really good for keeping your eye in over the winter, the staff here couldn’t be more helpful, ensuring we knew how the machine worked, how to adjust speeds and pitch

Had a great time at the cricket net session! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making everything easy and enjoyable. The shop on-site is friendly and well-stocked, which is a nice bonus. Definitely a great place for players of all levels!
