No waiting for dealership fulfillment
The brand of the part I was searching for was important for the repair for my older X5 BMW. Newparts.com had it, and they had it in stock which was also very important to me. Other euro specialist parts websites offer some of these parts for purchase but there is almost always a 2 or 3 day delay in the shipping because they need to get them from dealerships and then ship out. I would definitely consider buying my parts again from Newparts.com.

I had some difficulty choosing Valeo wipers for my car as many were offered at different price points without much information to differentiate them so I went by price. Contacted NewParts through the Amazon app
I contacted NewParts through my Amazon app to ask about the warranty. I was told for the Spectra condenser fan I bought, it was 30 days, same as Amazon. No way, I tried to cancel but it already shipped. Then was charged $25 to send it back. I would not trust a product that had such a short warranty. My original fan lasted 30 years and suspect this one would not last because of the short warranty.
If you want to take a gamble, go ahead but I passed on this and bought a better brand from a better company to buy one from.

The part I ordered came with a different part number than I ordered , wish they would have stated that those part numbers interchange. They attempted to give a first responder discount but the code never did work. The ordering process was easy and shipment was fast

Regarding the part number, part 181124 was officially replaced by 171124 (RoadMatic Front Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly). This change is because the manufacturer superseded the part numbers, which is beyond our control. Although the number on the box is different, it is the correct, updated replacement and is fully compatible with your vehicle.
We also apologize that the first responder discount code did not work. The coupon code was definitely valid and didn't expire at the time of your order, so we're not sure what happened. Whenever you need more parts in the future, please contact us and we'll provide a new discount code for you.
