Ninety.io is Top Notch!

Ninety.io is GREAT! I have truly appreciated what Ninety.io has to offer as an admin assistant working in the EOS community. The tools are very helpful and keep me organized and prepared. I specifically love that it is easy to use, easy to keep our data integrated, and easy to get support from the Ninety.io support team when I need help!

Ninety needs to have a Gantt Chart…

Ninety needs to have a Gant Chart functionality with milestones and rocks to show progress. Just having dates with deadlines is not enough when setting goals.

Creating a "to do" from a Milestone and Process Documents

When creating a task from a Milestone, the naming convention on the TO DO page should have the naming convention hierarchy flipped so it is Kingdom > Phylum >Class. Right now, it is difficult to find your task because the default sorting calls out by Milestone:Task > Rock. it's hard to find what you are looking for when in project mode and you are looking for the next thing sequentially. Sorting by Rock > Task would be more intuitive for trying to bang out projects, rather than hunting and pecking for your task.

When setting deadlines on TO DO's vs when in the Rock:Milestones, the dates don't change on the other page. Tie them together because intuitively, I'm in the Rocks, creating TO DOs and putting dates on them chronologically to see them all in one place and mapping out a timeline for that Rock. When you change those dates in the Rock to adjust deadlines, the TO DO page doesn't change dates it sorts out priorities differently due to this. The lack of continuity undoes any sense of organization. TO DO's may show off-track but if you reset timelines on the Rock page, it has different input.

If this is gearing up towards this being a company workspace and accountability tool, a Gantt Chart for for the Rocks would be pretty nice.

The formatting within the free text description fields often doesn't mesh well with word. If I cut and paste out of a word doc, i have to reformat the bullet points or spacing in 90. Often when making edits and saving, 90 will insert extra blank lines into the formatting so the layout gets more spread out every time I use it. It will require going in and manually deleting blank lines to tighten up the doc. Try to get formatting features more in alignment with Word.

The "Process Docs", individually do not print, so it is essentially useless in creating a company manual if the staff does not have access to the 90 platform, which many of our field staff do not. I can create a process outline in Word, cut/paste it into 90 and the formatting gets jacked up, which requires redoing it in 90. Once in 90 you cannot print an individual process, it only exports the master menu.

At this point, it's easier for me to manage process documentation that needs a sophisticated text/doc formatting in a Word Doc. Creating a Manual with a TofC, dropdown menus and title sections on company letterhead is a better finished product.

The Process page often gets hung up and doesn't load.

Great concept, poor execution. It's easier for me to manage projects with a filtered spread sheet than with the 90 platform. At this point, for PM, I'd rather use a different software.

A lot of the items you mentioned are resolved since we have been working together and incorporating your feedback.

We actually changed our milestone changing convention about a month ago due to this request! I am sorry I did not follow up to notify you of this (maybe I missed that!) but I know we have had conversations about it in the past. We also have the due dates, titles and details updating when updating the todo back to the milestone. So now those are linked (as of about a month ago!).

This quarter we are working on finding a new rich text editor to use because our current limitations that you described with copying and pasting from word. Agree that we can make that better.

Regarding Process, you can invite your ENTIRE staff for FREE to Ninety.io as observers. That way they can see, but not edit the AC, VTO (if you want) and Process. If you have other documents, you can also attach them to each process step.

Regarding the process page loading, we had specifically worked together on that and it was because you were filtering for a user that didn't own any processes. I believe we showed your team that info to get that resolved!

Sad to see this warranted a one-star response because we have been working together and actively incorporating your feedback. We take these reviews very seriously, so would be happy to connect to dive deeper into any of these topics.

Very good product

We have been using Ninety.io for a few weeks and it's great. So far the only issue that that when a person is on the leadership team and that person creates a department rock, it shows up as a company rock as well. We were informed that Ninety.io is working on this issue and an upgrade is expected withing a few weeks. The L10 agenda/feature is awesome. Customer service is very good.

We constantly encounter bugs in the…

We constantly encounter bugs in the software that don't save our information correctly. The milestones under rocks don't work intuitively and cause lots of problems, especially when dates need to be move.

I hate being asked to share my location every time I visit the site.

Overall the system has allowed us to implement EOS fairly smoothly.

One enhancement that would be nice is some way for peers to share positive notes (kudos) for job well done on other peers along with being able to record notes for quarterly and annual feedback sessions.

Daily Use

We use Ninety in our daily business operations. It has provided us with a clear structure for meetings and helped us to communicate better. Without this tool we would not be the company we are today!! We are grateful that they look at it and make improvements all along the way!

Great communication tool

Our company has begun cascading this tool to the next level, as most companies communication can always be improved, this is a great tool to allow various departments to be able to communicate and allow the directors to get their vision to everyone in the company
this tool allows everyone to share their vision and ensure their actions are a step forward to achieving it
the pre-set times have so far worked great in our business to ensure meetings do not drag on and on and actually achieve something

Not user friendly

Not a very intuitive, user-friendly interface. To easy to accidentally end a meeting without rating. Hard to track what is newly added. Hard to find items in archives/uploaded documents. Uploaded documents have just disappeared on us. Too easy to lose track of things cascaded to another department/division. No way to see/track changes to items made by others.

Ending a meeting requires not only one, but a second confirmation button to be pushed before you can end the meeting.
