"Free instant delivery" within 1 to 2 days is advertised. The tracking code isn't working. It's now Sunday. No confirmation email for anything, except that the package couldn't leave the shipping depot, and even that was only on the website... The prices for the games, most of which are digital-only, are ridiculously low compared to reputable Amazon sellers, and they're not even physical copies. I compared it to importing a Switch 2 controller from England on Amazon, which was supposed to take at least four weeks for shipping... it arrived in just under three weeks. And that wasn't even express shipping. The Switch 2 is supposed to be "shipped" directly from a depot in Hamburg to Munich in 1-2 days?! Maybe slightly Cringe. And of course, the thing doesn't have an OLED display, so the scam can really pay off. It's bad enough that the console is, to put it mildly, technically lagging behind for more than half a decade, outdated or even worse than current standards. But hey, there's a silver lining, at least. The key fob that was supposed to be included free with the purchase of 500 platinum coins... It's already arrived. Now I have a fob that's not worth €3, but at least I don't have a €470 console. The fob, by the way, came from Berlin. That's about the same distance: six and a half hours by ICE train from Munich's main/Central Station. Miracles do happen... A slight wince of vicarious embarrassment, not to say miserably incompetent. That should be the company's guiding principle. Those who are greedy and don't deliver should be eliminated. :)

Shocking customer service for a customer of 35 years. I ordered super smash
Bros on the game cartridge a while back and it said it was not reading cartridge. So I ordered a digital copy. Hadn't downloaded it when the cartridge started working again.
I emailed customer service and asked for refund of digital copy as now spend £120 on two copies. Reply .... NO.
Shame on you I've been loyal customer for 35 years buying every console and games. They could have seen I hadn't even downloaded the digital copy and could have cancelled the download.

Missing delivery not refunded
I ordered a switch 2 on 2nd December, the product didn’t even arrive with the courier when I used the tracking code. I waited 7 days as advised then completed the relevant forms which said I would get a reply in 24-48 hours. I originally asked for a replacement as it was a Christmas present, a few days before Christmas I had to purchase another console from a local retailer as I just keep getting automated replies and the customer service online chat just say they can’t help. I returned the email to say I now needed a refund as I had purchased elsewhere. I still haven’t received a response or my money back and the online codes no longer work from the original purchase. Going around in circles and Nintendo do not reply to any contact methods made
Wish I could give no stars
Wish I could give no stars. Customer support is nonexistent with no real help offered at all. Sent off my Nintendo switch OLED purchased in December of 2024 due to the screen lifting on the right side. It’s never been dropped and I take excellent care of all my consoles. Was quoted £124 to replace the adhesives on the screen and a new battery even though Nintendo confirmed the battery was fine just by design it’s replaced at the same time as any repairs to the screen. A bunch of emails going back and forth to be told multiple times the same information even whilst asking for this to be taken higher up. This situation has completely changed my long standing faith for Nintendo. I have absolutely no faith in their products or support team because of this situation. Incredibly unhelpful.
Absolutely shocking repair service
Absolutely shocking repair service, sent my Switch 2 to repair the red joystick that was not connecting. They sent me a quote of 200£ for screen repair. And their customer service is none existent can't call can't email very confusing.
Damage caused at repairer!
Sent my sons switch off to be repaired as game reader slot wasn’t working.
They quoted £156 saying the main board isn’t working as well as the game card slot, fair enough but extortion!
Long story short, I receive the switch bad with a big deep scratch across the screen! I’ve been trying to get a reply from them for 6 days!!! Absolutely fuming!!
Disappointing customer services
Ordered a Nintendo switch online 1 year membership for my Daughter for Christmas from Amazon. It’s a digital download that was sent via email. when redeeming the link on Christmas Day for her, it added the membership to my account and was no option to add to my daughters account. as I only hold parental controls for her account, it’s completely unuseable. I contacted support who got back to me after 2 weeks to tell me basically they won’t transfer it over to my child’s account. Honestly expected a better outcome from such a big successful company. Disappointing!
No compromise customer care
Ordered a gift bundle of items as a Xmas present which included two ornaments. We checked the items when they arrived but didn't take the ornaments out of their display boxes in order to keep them in good condition for Christmas.
Unfortunately one was damaged (wing wasn't attached to Charizard) and it was only being held in place by the box itself.
We contacted them on boxing day but they refused a replacement due to it arriving 31 days prior and not the 30 of their policy. We did ask them to escalate but we got the same computer says no answer.
Really disappointed in them, we were wouldn't have had this issue with most other retailers who offer extended returns over Xmas.
None existent service
None existent service. Minescraft pass purchased along with Nintendo online subscription. It never worked, used the contact form and got an automated response asking for the same details I had already entered. Replied but still not response nearly a week later.
Deceptive business practices
It creates good products, good hardware and good games. But as a company it's terrible. Deceptively selling you games that don't work unless to buy additional subscriptions.
Nothing worse than the anticipation of a child loading up a game for the first time only to find it doesn't work unless you buy something more.
I've already bought to the console and bought the game, why do I need to pay for the privilege of using what I've bought?

Unbelievable
Unbelievable. Clicked on a link to redeem a Switch Online membership for my son who has an account in my Family Group. I wasn't given a choice of which account to apply the membership to - it automatically applied to my own account. Tried customer service by email and phone and they were unwilling or unable to correct a simple mistake that happened because their website is confusing. Would have been such an easy customer service win.
£429 order never delivered
We ordered the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World for £429 on December 4th. On the same day, we received an email confirming that our order had been shipped and would be delivered within 1–2 days.
However, today is December 15th, and our order has still not been delivered. The DPD tracking status states: "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel."
We sent a complaint to the Nintendo Store, but the only response we have received so far is: "Please be confirmed that your case is currently escalated. Unfortunately, at the moment, there are no available updates nor are we able to provide a time frame for the response."
This was supposed to be a present from Santa for our son who still believes in Santa. It looks like his Christmas is going to be ruined.
Appalling Service
Appalling Service ! Bought a case for my son’s Nintendo Switch. DPD delivered to the incorrect address and I never received. Neither Nintendo Store or PDP were interested and no refund received or replacement item after 10 emails . Don’t buy from the store purchase from other retailers .

Complete lack of empathy towards children in Foster Care. As they move houses, I've asked for amendment in parental controls but Nintendo "Customer Support" does not care. I can't expressed how ashamed I'm now having to explain to children how much Nintendo doesn't care about them. Shame.
Avoid ordering from this company
Avoid ordering from this company, they cannot be trusted to deliver your items or resolve any disputes, however they still take your money and refuse to refund for missing items. I had two order in three weeks that had missing items, requests to replace the item or refund the payment were met with the reply "we are sorry to inform that after further review by the relevant team, it has been determined that your request is denied." Disgraceful customer service!

Awful customer service
I wouldn't even give it a 1 star if I could, they like to hold your money hostage even though its confirmed that it's arrived returned back they still just make you wait it's been over 48 hours now and no sign of an email stating the money is to be refunded. Thankfully I done it via PayPal but even with paypal I'll have to wait another 7-9 days for them to even answer. Don't bother

Item not arrived, no news on refund after >3 weeks, telephone line and chat closed
I preordered the Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A Edition directly from Nintendo UK for launch delivery on 16 October 2025.
Royal Mail tracking showed the parcel stuck at Chelmsford Sorting Facility since 15 October, and it was later incorrectly marked as “redelivery to neighbour.” After contacting Royal Mail, they confirmed that no delivery attempt was ever made and that the parcel would be considered lost if not received by 24 October.
I reported this to Nintendo UK immediately, but their telephone and live chat were unavailable, leaving only email contact. The only active phone line I could reach was for the Nintendo eShop, and the person who answered confirmed they are only responsible for technical issues and digital purchases, admitting that the customer service line for physical orders is closed.
After several emails, I was asked to complete a Non-Receipt of Goods Declaration Form, which I submitted on 21 October requesting a refund. Nintendo confirmed receipt on 24 October, saying my case had been escalated to the relevant department, but as of 11 November I have received no refund or meaningful update, despite multiple follow-ups.
It’s extremely disappointing that a major company like Nintendo provides no working customer service channels and shows a complete lack of transparency about refund progress. Because of this lost parcel, I missed the planned surprise for my kids and did not receive the preorder bonus figurine. I eventually had to walk into Argos to buy the console myself just so they wouldn’t be disappointed.
I will never buy directly from Nintendo UK again after this awful customer service experience and their poor choice of courier. In my own experience, retailers like Argos or Amazon would have processed a refund immediately after being notified, confirmed it on the spot via call or ticket, and completed it within 7–14 working days.
Next time, I’ll order from Currys, Argos, Smyths Toys, or Amazon, as their delivery, refund handling, and customer support are far more reliable and responsive.
Update on 21/11:
PayPal confirmed on 11 November that they received my claim and would refund me if Nintendo failed to respond by 21 November.
On the app, it seems that Nintendo did not respond to Paypal.
On 21 November, PayPal issued the refund directly to me.
Later the same day, Nintendo emailed saying “we have processed your refund.”
Let’s be clear: Nintendo did nothing.
I only got my money back because PayPal stepped in, not because Nintendo acted or communicated.
