Avoid ordering from this company, they cannot be trusted to deliver your items or resolve any disputes, however they still take your money and refuse to refund for missing items. I had two order in three weeks that had missing items, requests to replace the item or refund the payment were met with the reply "we are sorry to inform that after further review by the relevant team, it has been determined that your request is denied." Disgraceful customer service!

Awful customer service
I wouldn't even give it a 1 star if I could, they like to hold your money hostage even though its confirmed that it's arrived returned back they still just make you wait it's been over 48 hours now and no sign of an email stating the money is to be refunded. Thankfully I done it via PayPal but even with paypal I'll have to wait another 7-9 days for them to even answer. Don't bother

I preordered the Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A Edition directly from Nintendo UK for launch delivery on 16 October 2025.
Royal Mail tracking showed the parcel stuck at Chelmsford Sorting Facility since 15 October, and it was later incorrectly marked as “redelivery to neighbour.” After contacting Royal Mail, they confirmed that no delivery attempt was ever made and that the parcel would be considered lost if not received by 24 October.
I reported this to Nintendo UK immediately, but their telephone and live chat were unavailable, leaving only email contact. The only active phone line I could reach was for the Nintendo eShop, and the person who answered confirmed they are only responsible for technical issues and digital purchases, admitting that the customer service line for physical orders is closed.
After several emails, I was asked to complete a Non-Receipt of Goods Declaration Form, which I submitted on 21 October requesting a refund. Nintendo confirmed receipt on 24 October, saying my case had been escalated to the relevant department, but as of 11 November I have received no refund or meaningful update, despite multiple follow-ups.
It’s extremely disappointing that a major company like Nintendo provides no working customer service channels and shows a complete lack of transparency about refund progress. Because of this lost parcel, I missed the planned surprise for my kids and did not receive the preorder bonus figurine. I eventually had to walk into Argos to buy the console myself just so they wouldn’t be disappointed.
I will never buy directly from Nintendo UK again after this awful customer service experience and their poor choice of courier. In my own experience, retailers like Argos or Amazon would have processed a refund immediately after being notified, confirmed it on the spot via call or ticket, and completed it within 7–14 working days.
Next time, I’ll order from Currys, Argos, Smyths Toys, or Amazon, as their delivery, refund handling, and customer support are far more reliable and responsive.
Update on 21/11:
PayPal confirmed on 11 November that they received my claim and would refund me if Nintendo failed to respond by 21 November.
On the app, it seems that Nintendo did not respond to Paypal.
On 21 November, PayPal issued the refund directly to me.
Later the same day, Nintendo emailed saying “we have processed your refund.”
Let’s be clear: Nintendo did nothing.
I only got my money back because PayPal stepped in, not because Nintendo acted or communicated.
NINTENDO WILL CLAIM WATER DAMAGE
Nintendo switch still in warranty, month before warranty ends the switch stopped charging. Was advised we need to send direct to nintendo for repair. We packaged it up very securely and sent as requested. After 4 days received a response to say it was out of warranty (it is not) and that it was water damage causing the problem .. this is an outright Lie, this console is used by a sole adult, never around liquid, always stored in a hard shell case, never been taken out of the house and only ever charged in the docking station ( which is situated on the entertainment unit with all the other electricals, such as TV, blu ray etc)
Customer service said it could have got condensation during transit - how is this my fault. Clearly this company is out to rip people off. If it's condensation from the atmosphere that has caused 'water damage' theb surely this product is not fit for purpose. So upset and angry, will never purchase another product from this company again.
I am not happy with nintendo
I am not happy with nintendo. I brought a nintendo switch for my son a few months. Not even 6 months from the purchase it stopped charging. Sensitive back there for warranty. They sent me an invoice of £120 because apparently the game is not turning on and they believe its the mother board which is not covered under warranty. However I know the game is not turning onbecaus3 the battery died due to not being able to charge and that what we sent it there for. I am so dissatisfied and do not recommended cause I spent so much m9ney on this game and its only a few months it stopped working and they expect me to pay so much money to fix it. Unacceptable

Been trying to cancel my subscription for 1 year (today). Filled out numerous requests, as detailed when you tell them you want to cancel, but you never get an answer and its never been cancelled!

Ordered when an extra item was available , didn’t show up in my order I contacted support and took ages to answer , then when they did they said I should’ve contacted support sooner which I did instantly , such a joke of a company . I only ordered for the extra as well so I’m really annoyed

Trustpilot should start giving us a 0 star option. I've pre-ordered in July the Pokemon ZA champions version. Item dispatched on Tuesday 15th, tracking status never changed. Tried to reach out by email, didnt get a reply. Royal mail just stated the order as lost basically and asked me to reach Nintendo. £80 wasted on something i didnt received.

Pre-ordered Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Champion's Choice physical game bundle. It came without one of the bundle items AND THE GAME! The ONE thing that should be there!
They avoid any accountability because an email form you CANNOT attach photos to prove anything is the ONLY way to contact them. AND THEY IGNORE IT! HOW WONDERFUL! (That how wonderful was sarcasm by the way because this is written and therefore lacks tone of voice to otherwise indicate as such.)
Phone number? If you even find one it directs you to the email form they ignore and hangs up.
Live chat? Taken down at some point so they can ignore any accountability even harder.
Charge back? Better not if you want to keep your Nintendo account everywhere, because if you do they terminate your account which takes any legitimate digital purchases with it!
Its just frankly shocking how they think they're above accountability and the law because their site even states if you take them to trading standards they'll just ignore them as well! So now I'm spending £70, scalper prices, for a few cheap items and no game! I'll never be ordering from them ever again no matter how much I want a gift with a game I may want its just not worth this. Be better Nintendo!

Terrible service. My young son recently bought FC26 in the e shop rated age 3 and went for the Ultimate edition. Having bought it (£80) he now cannot access the additional content as they say he is underage, referring to some small print which I had to find by clicking on about 15 links which they expect someone under 12 to read. Awful, would never buy from them again.

Well, I can t believe that customer services could be so very bad!I bought an online account that my son set up for me and by mistake, he put my old email address on it. I tried several times to reach out to them and they treated me like a criminal and tried to make me look like a liar, I don t think so for 6.99!

After this constant chasing of pal world and trying to patent game mechanics that you did not pioneer, I will never buy a Nintendo product for myself or another person. I will ensure that at every opportunity, I break or stop being purchased a Nintendo product or title.
Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. Bought a voucher, the foil and code scratched off at the same time. Followed the instructions to get a new code sent through.
No response after a week. Sent several emails and all information requested. zero contact back from them. Avoid!!

Une expérience client honteuse pour une entreprise de cette envergure
J’ai acheté un jeu en promotion sur le Nintendo eShop (Outer Wilds : Archaeologist Edition, 20,99 € au lieu de 34,99 €) le 7 juillet 2025. Mon compte a bien été débité, mais le jeu n’a jamais été livré.
À la place, Nintendo a simplement crédité mon compte eShop du montant payé, sans m’en informer. Résultat : la promotion a expiré entre-temps, et je devrais maintenant payer 14 € de plus pour obtenir le jeu initialement commandé.
J’ai contacté leur service client :
- Impossible d’avoir quelqu’un au téléphone,
- Réponses vagues ou automatisées par mail,
- Et depuis que j’ai signalé leur erreur, plus aucune réponse.
Ce qui est grave, ce n’est pas uniquement le bug de paiement, c’est le manque total de suivi, de transparence et de responsabilité :
J’ai payé un produit numérique qui n’a jamais été livré.
Nintendo reconnaît dans une réponse par mail le problème mais refuse de rembourser ou d’honorer la vente.
Je déconseille fortement d’acheter quoi que ce soit sur le Nintendo eShop, surtout lors de promotions : en cas de problème, vous serez seul(e), sans recours direct ni SAV efficace.
