I had an extremely disappointing and financially damaging experience with NP Digital.

They burned through my advertising budget using irrelevant, low-quality keywords that had nothing to do with my medical practice. Even worse, they included the names of my direct competitors as keywords, which resulted in our office receiving calls from patients actively seeking other providers—not new patients seeking our services. This is basic Google Ads mismanagement and should never happen under competent supervision.

It became clear that their priority was maximizing ad spend—not delivering results. Their fee structure, which is tied to ad spend, creates a conflict of interest, and in my experience, there was no meaningful effort to optimize for quality, relevance, or return on investment.

Additionally, the spending and performance numbers they reported often did not align with what was actually reflected in my Google Ads billing account. This raised serious concerns about transparency and accountability.

During the busiest and most critical times of the year for my business, they were careless and inattentive, resulting in significant missed opportunities and financial losses. My concerns were repeatedly ignored or dismissed, and meaningful corrective action was never taken.

Their ads were poorly written, poorly targeted, and failed to reflect the quality or positioning of my medical practice.

Ultimately, I was left with substantial financial loss, wasted ad spend, and no measurable business growth to justify their fees.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend NP Digital to any healthcare provider or business owner seeking responsible, competent, and ethical digital marketing management.

As someone who has been in the SEO game for 22 years I have followed neil patel for the past several years and found his insights to be helpful. I was looking forward to working with his team to take some of the load off of my shoulders so i can spend more time with my family. After signing up 4 months ago i was expecting to see some results and take my foot off the peddle, no longer having to put in the 16 hour days. Paying $3,000/month is well above any seo budget I have used internally during all my years and I have seen tremendous success when i was handling everything myself, from buying links, to semrush on page audits and the list goes on. Unfortunately after 4 months the results have been impressively bad.
I understand how for some people who have no experience the little action that is done for the $3,000 may seem like a whole lot, however to someone who has been working on SEO for 22 years and only being paid based on the additional business i could bring into my business, I find the ROI to fall woefully short. Signing up for an annual contract is a red flag with any company and theirs is no different. I have 8 months to go and I hope to see some results shortly rather than literally throwing $39,000 into the trash.
I will surely update the review if anything changes. However at this point im back to the 16 hour days to help things recover. I'm sure they'll take all the credit once things do recover however Any site i have ever worked on has seen results in 4-6 weeks, not months. For the price they need to be offering more work, more actions. working on one page per month is not going to move the needle with SEO. Offering one backlink per month is not going to move the needle. More must be done to have an impact on your SEO its as simple as that.
I woud love to add screenshots of my search console along with a screenshot of the contract initiation date to offer empirical evidence however trustpilot doesn't allow images.

NP certainly carries a respectable reputation in the SEO industry. They’ve become skillful marketers and have mastered traffic generation for their own brand. However, they are no different than other big box agencies that hide behind spreadsheets and delay results with unnecessarily elongated procedures to make it look like they’re busy. Don’t be fooled. The upfront cost is heavy, but there’s very little that actually takes place, beyond spreadsheet building and redundant meetings from keynote readers, in the first 90 days. Agencies like this have manufactured “ramp up” time by literally dragging their feet and holding their clients hostage by giving so little that they can’t afford to stay, but are also manipulated with the fear of leaving and repeating the onboarding process elsewhere. In this case, sales and marketing significantly outweigh deliverables.

Working with NP digital has been a great learning experience.
The team is polite and return emails quickly.
The insight into making changes to a website is very helpful.
They start quickly once you make the first payment. they charge extra the first month to cover extra work time. Could be as much as 4K more.
There is a lot of activity in the first 2 months.
Beyond that, I would recommend not staying in contract beyond 3 months.
There is very little effort beyond what you can do yourself for 1/10th the money.
The fees are very high for the return of work.
Blogs were written by ai which we verified in the approval doc sent to us from chatgpt, and keyword research can be done yourself by using the Ubersuggest app for pennies on the dollar.
I worked with them for over 9 months and should have stopped much sooner.

Great salesman too bad they don’t deliver anything as they claim they would. Spend more time having meetings but realistically they just grab data from your search console and tell you the same thing. Definitely do not sign a contract you will regret it immediately

Neil provides great content on the monster subject of online marketing. I appreciate the advice and tips on how to improve marketing for our small business. Online marketing has become broad and complicated for small businesses. I find the subject overwhelming, but Neil's information helps me make incremental improvements in small steps.
