Pretty disappointed with the design of the S560. Specifically, these weights are designed (I checked with Nuobell) such that they not evenly distributed around each plate's circle -- the bottom half is heavier than the top half. There is no mention of this on the dumbell's website. Given this design, I have found it is extremely difficult to do heavier sets and compound lifting exercises safely. I would definitely recommend anyone considering purchasing the S560 to try in-person before buying.

Furthermore, I tried to leave this review on the company's website for this dumbell, but they will not publish my review. It appears that they are unwilling to take any critical feedback.

Bought a set of the adjustable dumbells about a year ago. After moderate use they came loose and a plate fell off and landed on me. I have never dropped them they are just poorly manufactured. Expensive but not sturdy stick with fixed weights much safer. As an example of cheap manufacture the plates are held onto the bar with small self tapping screws into plastic which will always fail. Should be proper steel bolts, just an example of cutting manufacturing costs to increase profit.

Ordered these damn weights July 13 after seeing positive reviews. It's been over a month and there has been no weights, no responses and just now their phone # got cut off. Got scammed.

Call you credit card company as they will dispute it for you and at least get your money back.

Similar to posts below; ordered dumbbells as well as folding bench and double-legged stand 4 weeks ago. Transactions have gone thru on my credit card. 4 weeks later- nothing. Multiple attempts to contact by phone and e-mail- no answer.
I've entered a dispute with my credit card company.

Update at Aug. 17: successful end to this dispute- I've now been fully reimbursed. Stay away from these guys. Go to the Nuobell site for an approved list of vendors. I just placed an order (over the phone with real people with a real retail location of a national chain) and actually got a better deal. Double-win.

There has been no confirmation of shipment, no one answers the phone and the online chat that shows it is "live" never responded to my query about when to expect shipment. Suggest folks intervene early with their credit card company to file a dispute. If you allow this company's delaying tactics to delay your filing a dispute, you will have no opportunity to get your money back.

My experience is similar to other recent posts- placed an order on June 3 as they were showing as in stock. They processed payment on June 4 and updated the status to shipped, however I then received an email saying the item was on back order. After multiple emails and calls I have managed to get 2 updates- the last one 2 weeks ago saying they would ship by the end of last week. Very unresponsive, poor communication, shouldn’t have been charged for an item if they had no stock and no ability to ship. “Live chat” is not live- waited days for an (unhelpful) response. I’ve now asked to cancel the order but no response. My impression their supply issue may be related to the BC port workers strike- I would have been happy wait if they hadn’t processed payment and if they communicated more effectively. Now I just want my money back.

I order online there because shipping was free, but 3 days later the status of my order still show « order placed » try to join live chat which show live online but they never answer. Try to email of course no answer, I’m worried about the « warranty »´they offer if they can’t even answer simple email.

Thinking of cancelling and buying with a legit store

Started a dispute, it’s a long process but t jeep ill be able to buy from a legit store.
Been almost 3 weeks and my order still have not been processed.

Company will not answer emails, phone or the live chat that is always “live” on their website. I haven’t heard anything from my order placed 10 days ago. Scam of a company and a waste of over $1100
Update 15 days now. Company has removed my comments on Instagram but still haven’t received an information or an answer back yet

Placed order after showing in stock. No shipment for multiple days so tried to contact. Emailed with no response, phone # goes unanswered and live chat goes unanswered. Finally spoke with a rep who stated as others have noted "held up in port". I asked to cancel order and was told to email their sales dept. Did that and 5 business days later I receive a shipment notification. Again, calls emails and live chat go unanswered. Finally received an email back stating "sale items cannot be cancelled/ refunded" even though the rep I spoke with said otherwise.
Sale price is a joke, they inflated the standard and lower to every other retailer.
So yeah, terrible experience. Lesson learned, stick with a reputable business.
p.s. Shipment notification for multiple days however no progress. So fingers crossed I actually receive the dumbbells...

Update: So 20 days from placing an order for an "in stock" item they finally arrived. The wrong weights however but impressed something showed up. Sent email, now the waiting game continues... Hopefully return label/refund but I highly doubt that..

Nuobells arrived in good condition. Packed very well. They work as advertised and I love that they go up to 80lbs! Perfect addition to my home gym! Just know that you have to be careful and not drop them like you can with traditional dumbbells while getting the last reps with heavy lifts.

No customer service, paid in full and they cant even send it to ups for shipping. Im callong and emailing every adress I can find and its either no answer or the number doesn't even exist.

These are legit nuobells, not knock off. Got the nuobells and stand within 3 days of ordering out of Alberta. They’re not an official reseller, but I contacted nuobell and confirmed that axrep was indeed selling legitimate nuobells.

Freindly customer service. They gave me free delivery. I went with the all black model and it matches the rest of my gym

This product is simply amazing space saving and money. There was a bit of a delay due to extreme weather -40 - temperture in which i was compensated for anways so i cant conplain.

Shipping was supposed to occur in 1-4 days. After ordering, was told someone from the warehouse would reach out. Nobody did. Sent messages via chat and called and left voicemails. Nobody called back and responses via chat were sporadic; i.e., either no response or responses came hours later and oftentimes did not address the questions asked. After several weeks of spotty communication and still no dumbbells was getting concerned the whole thing was a scam. Eventually though someone picked up the phone and told me of a shipping container stuck at the port of Vancouver. I was offered an instant refund or an adjustable kettlebell at no charge if I was ok to wait. I opted to wait and got the dumbbells shortly afterwards along with the stand. Have yet to get the kettlebell, but trust they will be sent as promised.

Ordered from Axrep. Shipping claimed 1-4 days delivery. Should have been delivered two days ago. No shipping tracking at all.

Shipping was very expensive due to weight, but no customer service to speak of. Got ahold of customer service who was unable to give any update on shipping. At this point I may as well have shredded $1300 and it looks like I will probably have to submit a chargeback.
