Good value green oak
Good value green oak, delivered to door. Bought some standard posts then had some custom strips cut as a special order.
Some wastage with one or two items not perfect so good to buy a touch extra to save making a further order. Oakmax sent replacements with second order.

Gold Standard Customer Service
We bought eight 200mm x 100mm x 1800mm Oak Sleepers from Oakmax. Unfortunately, upon delivery, one oak sleeper was badly warped - almost certainly the effect of the 34-degree-plus temperature and that particular sleeper having just one of its sides exposed to the sun on the pallet.
We contacted Oakmax, who couldn't have been more concerned or helpful. They immediately dispatched a replacement sleeper, which arrived in perfect condition. They also made sure we were happy with the correction.
I am also happy to report that we have now completed our project and the Oakmax sleepers look great.
I cannot speak highly enough about Oakmax and its products. It is rare these days to find a supplier that not only stands behind their product but also genuinely cares about their customers.

Excellent Oak Quality & Outstanding Customer Service
Fantastic quality oak and excellent customer service.
The quality of the oak posts I received from Oakmax was fantastic. A couple of pieces arrived slightly twisted/bowed, but they replaced them extremely promptly and without any fuss.
I always think the true measure of a good company isn’t how they behave when everything goes perfectly, but how they respond when something goes wrong. Oakmax absolutely excelled in that respect.
I genuinely couldn’t fault them. Very pleased with both the quality of the oak and, particularly, their customer service. Highly recommended.

Great customer service
Technically I should give only 4.5 stars as one of the 80 pieces of oak was unusable. However after contacting Oakmax and sharing pictures of the damage they quickly arranged for a replacement post and offered free delivery on anything else I needed.
I had great customer care from the point of order though arranging delivery and dealing with the issue. Definitely will use them again.

I recently bought six 150x150 oak posts. Firstly I'd say the posts are pretty good in general and certainly a great price, the communications with the office was also very good and nicely efficient. As I was buying 2.4m length posts I arranged to pick them up from the depot near Mansfield. That could have gone smoother than it did at the pick up company, and the location would probably work better for more people if it was located better. That's why I've given four stars rather than five. Having said all that, I'd use Oakmax again no problem
