With fresh sawn oak, natural movement can sometimes happen, but when something clearly does not work for the customer’s project, we always want to review it properly and find a fair solution.

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you were happy with the timber and the customer service from OakMax.
We’re sorry the delivery communication from the local haulier did not meet the standard we would expect. Clear updates are important, especially with pallet deliveries, and we appreciate you highlighting this.
We’ll continue raising this with the pallet network and working to improve the delivery experience wherever possible.
Thank you for choosing OakMax.

Hi M,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the order process efficient, but we’re sorry the delivery took longer than expected.
Our main regret is that we did not identify the delay early enough to update you sooner or try to chase the delivery before it affected your plans. We’ll be looking at how we can monitor these situations more closely, especially during busy periods.
Around bank holidays, parts of the pallet network can become more congested and delays can happen, but we fully understand that this does not remove the inconvenience caused.
Thank you for choosing OakMax, and we’re sorry the delivery experience fell short on this occasion.

Got my refund without any problem
A few days ago, I misplaced an order and was quite worried because I was unfamiliar with the company and only wanted to check the shipping cost. I sent an email requesting a refund, and they promptly handled my case within the next working day. They cancelled my order and refunded me in just two working days. I appreciate the excellent customer service. Now that I know where to buy the oak wood, I feel confident. Thank you again.
