Dormeo Octasmart Reviews 

I bought a king-size octasmart hybrid mattress back in 2022. I'm 12st, my partner is 9st, both in our 40s.

The mattress was firmer than I was expecting, being recommended as suitable for side sleepers, so took a while to get a comfy sleep.

Despite regularly turning (every few months as recommended) it started to sag on one side after about 4yrs. Now we regularly wake up in pain, with back/shoulder trouble, so it needs replacing. I'd expect more for almost £500

Avoid at all cost.
I surposedly purchased this product, rang after viewing add on t.v, select the product, gave my address, email, contact number and bank details, the first payment came out immediately the deal was next 3 payments would simply come ojt of my bank until completely paid. I was advised there was a lengthy warranty with this mattress topper, So to date since contacting Dormeo 1/8/26, I have had Afterpay email me stating if I dont pay what is owing to them I will incur extra cost, to my surprise as many years ago I looked into having an After pay account did not like terms and conditions did not follow through however this laid dormant once realising this exsisted and if infact been accessed I immediately rang afterpay, they deleted the account that was looked at in 2019. Never used until Dormeo accesed it with absolutely no authorisation whats so ever. I believed I had been victim of a scam, I them observed several payments taken from my bank, rang bank to identify merchant informed bank this was possibly a scam, bank investigated, refunded the money. Bank recommended I close this account in doing so I had to re contact all the connected services to this account update all details taken days to get through. Dormeo has not once provided me with any warranty details any paperwork what so ever never called me to say they might have been having dificulty accessing account absolutely nothing. No email, no.letter, no phone call nothing. Since the 1/8 as a result of stupidly dealing with this company I now have the bank investigating matters requiring details, letters documents etc, So angry an absolute mess ,if you call customer service for Dormeo they dont answer they will call back when they can,I was lucky enough to recieve 1 missed call after I contacted them but of course missed there call while I was busily nursing a patient, No follow up phone call absolutely nothing. I emailed Dormeo and calk them 4 times this morning Saturday my surpossed weekend off informed them of this absolute mess, with that was told ok by the Dormeo customer service staff I will hang up and have a look. In the mesntime I was emailing Dormeo with my situation only to recieve this back, names removed for privacy factor.

How much more footwork must I do Im over it. Seriously.
This is not good enough and has caused me much time and much stress.

Please don't waste your money on these toppers, I had a silent night memory foam topper but god it was comfy so, seeing this advertised I thought I'd be investing in something which would last, how wrong was I, it was awful, I unzipped the covering to see all these fancy sponge springs and guess what, 2 pieces of foam glued together no thicker then an inch in depth, what a rip of so domao, keep your octasmart toppers, silent night, here I come xx

I bought a Octa Smart mattress 6 years ago. I complained to Dormeo about it sagging within the first year but they wouldn't do anything about it. I've turned it around every few months and put up with it until now. I've had bad back pain and pains in my sides recently, I was thinking it could have been down to the strong medication I've been on. I saw my doctor who took blood and wee samples which where ok but she put me on antibiotics for a week. Still no better so she sent me for ultrasound. While waiting for the ultrasound I decided to sleep my spare room. By the time my appointment came through the pains had all but gone. I ordered a new mattress (not Dormeo) and took the cover off the old one so I could cut it up to take it to the tip. On taking the cover off all the foam springs that should be glued into the mattress fell out. I couldn't believe the poor state of it. I wish I could upload pictures of it on here to show you. Would never buy Dormeo again.

Bought the Dormeo Octasmart plus mattress 1.5 years ago, it seemed a cheaper option but you get what you pay for! It was ok for the 1st year then despite regular rotation, it developed a bad roll together and became extremely uncomfortable, I got bad back pain and sciatica and had so many bad sleeps. I had to go to a chiropractor to sort my back out. They really got this one wrong and should refund all customers, it’s awful and should be pulled from sale. Don’t buy!!!!

We purchased the Octasmart mattress via Costco UK online. It was delivered by Dormeo as expected. In less than 18 months the side of the mattress started to collapse on both sides. Having contacted Dormeo and sent them 15 photographs they eventually said that the mattress had only a 1 year warranty and they would not change it. Costco on the other hand worked hard and refunded the cost of the mattress and collected it.
I would not recommend Dormeo at all.

Buyer beware! If you are replacing a Dormeo mattress you bought 10-15 years ago, this is not the same mattress. We ordered the exact size we wanted to replace, and what arrived was an absolute disappointment. The cover no longer has handles, so you can rotate your mattress, but we didn't make it that far. Our bodies hurt so bad that we threw the 13" and 15" in the garbage and bought a Casper Wave Snow Hybrid, which is quite similar to the old Dormeo, made in Europe. I don't know how they make these mattresses now, but we went from sleeping on a cloud to sleeping on a rock. Absolutely the worst mattress I've ever slept on, and for the price, it's shameful. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I just this product but it on a bed it was fine after a few weeks of using it noticed mattress and pillow started to come apart had a look inside both and was disgusted to see that was made up bits of old material the mattress springs if you can call them that were degraded and not looking that good the pillow was just full of bits and material left over definitely would never use or buy again

3 years was sleeping on it. Comfy for me and my husband. But where we sleep there is two big holes and in middle big hill. Its hard to even roll up to middle to be closer to my husband. And now when I am breastfeeding baby is rolling in my hole and its dangerous. Cant return. I thought that my bed is bad but after reading these reviews mattress is bad quality not for many year use. Cant afford new good mattress for safer breastfeeding at night.

Good to know how shit there mattress and topper is, as i was about get one,but know i have read the views am glad i saved money,i have a bad shoulder from my old mattress i have,and wanted a better one and thought they were good and must have great views,but from the views i have changed my in getting one.
Maybe this Company needs to go back to the drawing board and stop advitising on T.V. because your views from people who have brought one find your mattress and topper are shit and a waste pf money

Was about to buy a King size but didn`t after reading the reviews on here. Thankyou Trust Pilot and all those that have contributed. It seems like I have swerved a bullet and having recently been ripped off by a Garage through not reading the reviews first I am so thankful

I purchased a Dormeo Octasmart double mattress and it has been a complete waste of money. After a short time, it started to sag and has completely lost its shape. It no longer provides any proper support, which has made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.
Instead of improving my sleep, it has actually made it worse, and I often wake up feeling more tired and achy. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and durability.
I would not recommend this mattress to anyone and regret buying it.

TOTAL SCAM DO NOT BUY FROM DORMEO

I bought an Octasmart mattress topper from them under their 200 NIGHT SLEEP TRIAL. The topper is complete rubbish and despite Dormeo's claims to the contrary it provides no support whatsoever. As far as the money back guarantee goes, well, I emailed them as per the instructions in the small print to arrange a return but I have not had a reply apart from an automated email promising that they would try to get back to me in 48 hours. That was over 7 weeks ago! If you look, you will find reviews from other people who have emailed and phoned to find that the only response they get is an automated email or an answerphone. Clearly Dormeo has no intention of giving refunds and the 200 Night Trial is just a way of convincing people that the topper is of good quality which it isn't.

I am happy to say that since Dormeo replied to my review, I emailed customer services again as requested, they asked their courier to contact me to make arrangements for collection and I did not have to wait long for them to come. Very shortly afterwards I recved a full refund (minus £45 collection fee).

Mattress collapsed in the 1st year. Not breathable and very sweaty nights. It did not hold its shape at all. Worst mattress I've ever owned would be cheaper to sleep on straw bales would never buy their products again

I bought a super king Octasmart mattress about 4 years ago,2 years later the outer cover started to rip through rotation I complained & received a new mattress without any problems…2 years later my new mattress started to collapse along the edges I then contacted Dormeo someone came out for an inspection.Now Dormeo are saying because I take longer than usual due to my musculoskeletal problems I have caused the problem & they will not honour their 10 year warranty…What a pathetic excuse to not honour the warranty The company has no credibility whatsoever by using cheap quality goods.I would of been better off buying a cheap mattress without the hype

You can actually see on the TV ad that this is a cheap product in appearance but unfortunately not in price. A skinny piece of foam sandwiched between some thin sheeting. And people still fall for the hype.

Dormeo Octasmart Premium Deluxe King Size Mattress, bought this a few years back now that was the worst buy ever, purchased this from Amazon but as you know no returns ( small print)

I purchased Dormeos Octasmart mattress topper, however, based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend this product, I found it to be of poor quality, and the aftercare service is slow to react & respond. I can only assume it’s a delay tactic to exceed your 30-day right to reject rights as a consumer.
In the first 22-days I had the mattress it came apart twice in the middle of the zip, each time I fixed this before I contacted Customer Services by phone for support, who direct you to use email. Even though I provide a detailed description & attached photo a few days later they reply with a series of questions and request for more photos. You supply the requested information only to receive another request a few days later with more questions and photos. Another 15-days passed and they say they’re still investigating, I only want to exchange for a mattress that doesn’t come apart and the inners spill out.
