Had cause to return a Humanscale office chair as it developed a fault just inside its 6-month warranty period. (Up to that point it had been great, just what I wanted and a good price.) Customer service was excellent - they sourced an identical replacement for me which was delivered within a week and the old one collected at the same time. Very efficient and helpful, thank you.

Elias who delivered the goods was amazing help, courteous and all with a sense of humour. Will buy from office resale again for sure.

Items fully refurbished and delivered back looking like new. Also the ability to have a couple of bespoke units made is a massive benefit

A waste of time,

I have not received the chair yet so no review from that side but purely from a customer service point of view this company is a chore to work with.

First I receive an SMS with a tracking number saying it will be delivered on Wednesday, Wednesday comes I wait until the time a decide to check the link again and it says it has been cancelled. No communication from Office Resale at this point.

After calling up and asking whats happening, something was up with the courier, alright no problem I asked for a call in the morning about the status of the chair as they had booked Parcelforce to come and collect.

Now we're 2 days late I've had to chase them again about the status of my order which still has not been picked up with Parcelforce.

I've chased your company 3 times with calls and once with an email (that still has not received any response) only once has OfficeResale called me to confirm I had a tracking number the day before the chair was due to arrive.

at least send me an email with updates about what's going on.

Chair is well refurbished, looks and feels great. I'm very happy with it. Parcelforce delivered it a week late and upside down (despite the 'this way up' labels). At some point in the journey one of the lever tabs had fallen off. Officeresale posted a spare out to me the next day and was easy to reattach. Would order again!

I was slightly sceptical at first because the chair I wanted was discounted by 75% but the chair looks brand new which was a very nice surprise.

Also the driver arrived within a couple minutes of the estimated time so that was convenient as well. I will definitely order more from here.

Purchased a Humanscale Freedom chair on the 16th and was very happy with the price and ease of purchasing. Didn't hear anything for a few days; understandably, as it was near the weekend and I imagine they refurbish the chairs to order. I received a call on the 21st from Kim (I believe, sorry if I got your name wrong) letting me know the chair would be delivered on the morning of the 23rd and they'd send me additional details closer to the time.

On the 22nd I received a text message letting me know the delivery was scheduled for the following day (23rd), accompanied with a tracking link. Tracking link provided an ETA on the time as well as advising that the time would be updated to reflect more accurately as the driver(s) got closer. I also received an e-mail confirming my order was being prepared for despatch.

On the morning of the 23rd I opened the link at the beginning of the time bracket I was given and shortly thereafter it tracked the driver and informed me they were approximately 30 minutes away. Pretty much exactly 32 minutes later they arrived with my chair. Two very polite and happy gentlemen dropped it off for me, took a photo of the delivery and left me to get on with my day.

Overall a fantastic experience with this company. Great communications. friendly and polite team at every step, and so far very happy with the chair. Fully recommend using this company and will be using them again.

Assuming the positive reviews on here are legitimate, I must have just been extremely unlucky. Bit of a long read but basically a faulty product, poor customer service, and no apology anywhere.

I placed the order and I rang the company a week later for an update. Their Customer Service Rep said she "thinks" it has been dispatched and would call me back later to confirm; she didn't. No biggie, people forget. I call back the next day and she says it will be delivered in a couple of days, on Sunday; their courier do not deliver on a Sunday.

That's fine, it is delivered on Monday. I realise during the course of the day that the chair doesn't seem right. The back is extremely stiff and I struggle to lean back in it. After finding the product manual online, I discover that the tension control is broke.

It is late at night so I email them to report the fault. Their return policy states the product must be in its original packaging however I had discarded it as it was large and bulky. Consequently in the email I ask how to proceed and that I am free to call to discuss the situation.

The next day I receive an email saying that my chair shall be collected tomorrow for a refund. Strange, I didn't ask for a refund and no collection would be possible as I did not have the original packaging. I contact the company for a fourth time, again by phone, and state my position: I did not ask for a refund, I simply asked for a talk on how to proceed. I am unsure if I am eligible for a refund, an exchange, or a repair under warranty.

I discuss with the rep that if possible I would like an exchange, and she agrees. At this point I don't have much faith in Officeresale so I clarify with the customer service rep the next steps we had discussed: a new chair will be delivered -> I keep that packaging and box up the faulty chair -> the faulty chair is collected another day.

The next day there is a knock on the door. "Hi, I've come to collect a chair"...No. That is not what was agreed over the phone. I do not want a refund, and there is no packaging. Obviously Officeresale did not cancel the initial collection which they assumed I had wanted.

Eventually a new chair is delivered. I compare the faulty chair and the new chair and the difference is night and day. The faulty one was an off colour, the arms were far more loose, and of course the tension control was broke. How that passed quality inspection I'll never know. Finally the saga is over.

I have worked in customer service by telephone myself and it is not an easy job. I have a great deal of patience and respect for people who work in customer service, but Officeresale's customer service (and quality control) was just poor. Four times I had contacted them and on every occasion I was given incorrect or bad information: no callback, wrong delivery date, unwanted refund, and an unwanted knock on the door. To top it all off, there was not an apology anywhere. That is customer service BASICS. If a customer contacts you that they have received a faulty product, you apologise in some format.

Please do better in future.

Xen Silcott was very helpful and efficient. The installation was completed without any issues and was very helpful getting the correct height of the desks.

I purchased a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chair. The condition is as good as new. However, the armrests were quite wobbly. I contacted Office Resale and they sent me a replacement and collected the original chair at no extra charge. I am very happy with the chair and the service I received.

Delivery attempt was on time and on point. Shout out to Elias & Francis!

Had a great experience with this company. Item was delivered in under 7 days. 7-14 days was estimated so was very happy with that. The chair itself is fantastic and considering this is a referbished product you really would not be able to tell. So excellent work from the teams there. Delivery was another great experience! Elias, the driver, handled the product with great care. So all in all a very good experience and would certainly recommend.
