Have ordered an oak mantel shelf through B&Q. It should have arrived a week ago and despite being advised it has been despatched, there is no sign of it. Have made 3 calls to B&Q and now just want a refund but even this is proving difficult. What a joke!

Very happy with our new coat rack. Good quality wood, well made and easy to put up. Kept updated on the status of our order and had a follow up afterwards to check we were happy. Would be happy to order additional products from the company again in future.

We absolutely love our coffee table! Felt the website was easy enough to use. We received regular updates on the status of our delivery and then even got a follow up email from the owner of the company to make sure we were happy with it! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a high end design.

Lovely coat rack, very well-made, and has been much admired. I appreciate that it's a small business and everything is made to order, but it might help if Off the Grain indicated that there might be delays in production and delivery. I had to chase them, but their response was quick and the item then arrived. I also received personal follow-up to make sure everything was OK. Overall, happy with the experience; would use the company again.

Very happy with our lovely oak coat rack with shelf. The company kept us updated about when it was being made and despatched, the quality is excellent and it looks very good in our newly painted hallway! We are not the world's greatest DIYers but managed to put it up without too much difficulty. Would definitely recommend.

The coat rack was missing a screw when it arrived and the wood was marked. Something which I thought could be easily resolved by contacting Off the Grain by email - Off the Grain promised to send out a package but after several more emails, I've received nothing and heard no further other than automatic replies. So I have a coat rack with a screw that doesn't match and a mark on the wood - so disappointing.

I have had several pieces from Off the Grain and am really impressed with the quality of the oak, the workmanship is excellent as is the service. The floating shelves are brilliant as the fixings are hidden. I will be ordering more pieces in the coming months.

I’m delighted with my oak coat rack. It’s beautifully made from good quality wood. Having the mounting screws concealed under two of the hooks makes for a very neat finish. The customer service was excellent, I was kept informed of progress and also had a follow up text a couple of days after delivery to check if I was happy with everything.

Bought a coat rack from here and it looks great, very good quality, very happy with my purchase. Arrived about a week or so after ordering as advertised, kept me up to date with emails. Arrived in very good quality packaging so not worried it would get damaged in shipping.

They need to be more transparent about delivery times so be prepared for a wait but it is worth it - i just don't like over promising to gain business far better to do the the opposite.
