WARNING: Do NOT buy from OGAAN – especially if you’re an international customer
I don’t usually write posts like this, but after 6 months of absolute hell, I feel obligated to warn others.
Ordering from OGAAN was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The process itself took forever, and when the product finally arrived, it was NOT what I ordered. The customization was wrong, and the other product fabric was completely different from what was advertised.
What followed was month after month of chasing them. Endless follow-ups, emails, explanations — all wasted. There was zero urgency, zero ownership, zero accountability. It genuinely felt like once they got the money, they were done with the customer.
At some point, it became very clear:
OGAAN does not care once the product is dispatched.
What makes this worse is that they accepted that the mistake was theirs, yet their so-called “resolution” was laughable. Their solution?
“If you come to India, bring the product with you and we can fix it.”
I’m sorry — what?
How insane, tone-deaf, and unprofessional is that?
So the customer pays premium prices, receives a messed up product, spends 6 + months chasing support, and is then expected to travel internationally to fix their mistake? That’s not customer service.
This entire experience feels like they take advantage of overseas customers, knowing very well that most people cannot walk into their store and fight it out in person. If that’s how they operate, it honestly borders on scamming international buyers.
OGAAN should have done the bare minimum any ethical business would do:
Accept the return
Issue a refund
Take responsibility
Instead, they chose to drag, deflect, and eventually back off, leaving me stuck with a useless, incorrectly made product.
If a brand cannot handle post-sale responsibility, they should not be allowed to sell internationally. Period. I shared clear photos of the suit immediately after receiving it — clearly showing the measurements you gave me versus what I actually received. I even placed a measuring tape directly on the product itself so there would be no room for excuses.
You chose to push back, and you did.
You chose to keep the money, and you did.
I am not Indian and neither I am in India. I do not have someone who can casually come to India and hand-deliver the product back to you. Stop assuming that every customer has the luxury to fix your mistakes in person.
At every step, you have proven how you misuse people and their trust, especially when you think no strict action will be taken against you.
You did not accept your mistake even after I sent you all the evidence right away. Instead, you kept dragging the conversation, deflecting responsibility, and wasting my time.
And now you’re saying you need a person to wear it to verify the issue?
Seriously?
That is beyond ridiculous. You guys are on my nerve. I will make sure leave reviews where I can.

It is always difficult communicating with an out of the country website for ordering especially clothing. But, the service department responded in a timely manner and answered my questions quickly. Although items cannot be returned, service worked with me closely to get the measurements right and the item fits perfectly. It is great quality for the money and beautiful detail. I really appreciate actually having a contact I could rely on.

Wherever my order went, it wasn’t to me. I sent multiple inquiries and, when I eventually received photos of the delivery on a stranger’s doorstep, sent photos of my own home to show how different it looks. Customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. They will not help me and apparently the package being delivered anywhere at all is supposed to be all the same to me. They are a scam website and I regret giving them my money. Don’t make my mistake; stay far away from this dishonest company!

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Placed an order for a custom length lengha (48inches). The length was confirmed multiple times via WhatsApp. When the piece was received it was the standard length (40 inches). I’m 6 feet tall and this was completely unwearable. When I contacted customer service, they asked what date I needed the outfit and if I knew anyone going to India to get the piece. When I replied and provided the date and that I have no one going back to India they then informed me nothing could be done.
I did everything correctly, paid and provided the right information and they did not uphold their end of the agreement. So disappointed and money wasted.

Four Months, No Refund, No Resolution – Completely Unacceptable
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Ogaan and feel compelled to share it publicly, especially given the complete lack of accountability from their team over the past four months.
I placed an order worth $500, specifically requesting a Medium top and Small bottom. What I received was clearly a Small for both pieces-with no size tags included, so I couldn’t even verify what was sent. This outfit was meant for my brother’s wedding, and the timing was critical.
Despite reaching out immediately and following up multiple times, Ogaan has neither issued a refund nor sent a proper replacement. Instead, they proposed to “somehow fix” the sizing- altering a Small into a Medium, despite the fabric clearly not allowing for it. That’s not just unrealistic, it’s insulting.
When you charge premium prices, customers expect professionalism, quality control, and basic service recovery when mistakes happen. Four months later, I’m left with an ill-fitting, unusable outfit and no resolution. This is not how a luxury retailer should treat its customers.
