Bland box that is very uninspiring for child to open as a gift. Also, don’t bother with a reusable gift bag as it’s tiny and doesn’t even fit the doll in when removed from the box. The doll itself doesn’t even look anything special so feel pretty disappointed given the cost and can’t see any reason how these are anything special.

No longer worth it

We have been huge fans of Olli Ella for years! Sadly it’s no longer the case.
We eagerly awaited the restock of their dinkums dolls, after being out of stock for months! It’s now clear that during this time they underwent a manufacturing change. We received our doll and the quality was awful! A huge thread hanging from its nose, sections of hair with glue, missing and falling out. The newly manufactured dolls have really odd body proportions, with its legs and bum being way bigger and wider. The dolls no longer stand by themselves and the existing Olli Ella clothing range no longer fit (we have built up a collection over the years and is so sad they will be essentially be useless) we have now had 2 replacement dolls and they have all been exactly the same! I have tried discussing these manufacturing issues with Olli Ella and because I purchased through a stockist, they keep telling me to follow it up with them. The stockist has been fantastic to deal with, but obviously she doesn’t not know any thing related to the dolls being manufactured. Olli Ella keeps ignoring my questions.

We were once so happy to spend our money collecting these dolls and accessories as the quality and care was always great, however this is no longer the case. Our collection unfortunately now ends here with Olli Ella.

Terrible quality toys

I don’t know why there is any hype for these toys other than the fact they’re cute because the quality is garbage. I have made a few separate orders now from them, one for Fiona fairy which came without wings, another time for a dozy dinkum which came with a hole in the stitching at the back of the neck. Considering these are toys that are designed for children starting from young ages you would think they’d take better care in ensuring their products are up to standard, some of their items have magnets so considering their poor quality I wouldn’t feel comfortable giving these to my children. Also, twice I ordered with express shipping and both times they shipped it standard but charged express which I had to request a refund for the difference. There are so many better brands of toys out there for children, I’d avoid these

I ordered some items from an advert in…

I ordered some items from an advert on Facebook and like a lot of us wondered what would arrive!!! Well .. firstly delivery was very prompt and well packed ..I am from the UK channel islands and items can take weeks! But my box only took a few days this delivery ..then the packaging was really good. No damages. The items are really nice quality.the dolls are super soft and for a new baby look very cuddly . I also purchased a lamp and that's exactly what I expected. Good quality too. In all I am very happy with my items and would definitely buy again .thankyou

Not worth it anymore...

As a loyal customer of many years, it's been incredibly disappointing to see how bad this company has become and with no sign of improving.
A few or more years ago customer service was fast, friendly and helpful. You could tell they genuinely cared for their customers. Now? You are lucky to get a response at all and if you do, expect to wait up to a month or more and to first have to email multiple times and then have to turn to social media and their Facebook group in order to push for a response. If you do finally get a response, you can tell the care is no longer there. They are pumping out scripted responses which shows they haven't taken the time to genuinely listen and respond appropriately. It leaves you feeling unheard and extremely frustrated with no answers or resolution to a problem. The responses are often cold and unhelpful. It would seem to me that they are heavily understaffed and are no longer able to keep up with demand. If this is the case, you'd think they would consider slowing down with the constant new releases most of which are now limited edition since this generates more traffic and sales in one go due to desperation to secure their dolls... which then would make it harder for customer service to keep up. If this is not the case and you are not understaffed then why has customer service become so bad? In any case, it is unprofessional and unfair to customers especially those that have been so loyal for years.
With the constant new releases, quality control is also no longer there. I can understand how imperfections can slip by from time to time but with Olli Ella, this is now happening too frequently and it blows my mind how some toys make it past the door with how faulty they are. Surely there are supposed to be checks. It now feels like they care far more about money than they do about their toy's and their customers.

Olli Ella has a loyalty programme where you can go from "family" to "silver" to "gold tier" when you spend a certain amount. You get an on-going discount and free shipping but this rarely works. For some it does work, for others it never has. Instead of fixing these bugs, they claim you are shopping sale items or trying to use other discounts in conjunction with the loyalty programme perks despite you telling them you have not done this and even shown them a screenshot proving this! They then claim that discounts and free shipping can't be used with new releases... So then why does it work for some perfectly fine? And why are some people from customer service saying it should work even for new releases? Which is it to be? Also, if it is true that it's not supposed to be for new releases then what's the point altogether when you KNOW people shop with you for the new releases? Especially loyal customers who already own so much of the previously released toy's. How long do the releases remain "too new" to be able to use the discount? Because I have tried several months later to a year and it still doesn't work. Again, it works perfectly fine for some. Where is the consistency? Why can't you fix the bugs so it is fair for all and everyone can enjoy the perks, not just a few?
Last year, the gold tier also included a free annual gift but I never received anything from them. I saw others asking what this was about as well since they too received nothing. They've now taken this away. What was the point of this in the first place then. They say a lot but their actions rarely match up. I have also witnessed and experienced customer service lying. Whether this is intentional or not, you constantly get different conflicting responses and it comes across as very disingenuous and dishonest. It is extremely frustrating. This also happens over very silly and mostly unimportant things as well for example, it was pointed out how some of their fairy dinkum dolls had sparkly golden hair ties while others had plain string. They claimed it was just lighting and no doll had sparkly gold hair ties when it was proven that some absolutely did. Why lie about something so small?

It is so upsetting to see what Olli Ella has become. In the past, I would speak of them highly. I have shopped with Olli Ella more than any other. I started buying from them when my daughter was born. Several years ago. I followed them prior to my daughters birth. But I am now at the point where I am trying to "phase out" buying from them. It's a shame because my daughter adores their toys and I do too! But I just can't keep giving money to a shop that cares so little about their customers. Shopping should be a pleasant experience, not one that is so stressful and frustrating because you can't get a single response from customer service and all these "perks" never even work.

Anyone that's new to Olli Ella, I would suggest you avoid getting too hooked on collecting Olli Ella. It's not worth it.

Transparency delay kindness

I placed a big order in november, during black friday. Most items were for my daugther's birthday in january. Due to the huge amount of orders, the company informed us via email that there was a big delay in shipping. Thus, my order arrived on december 24th. I wa not in a hurry so i didn't mind the delay. However, they were two additional items missing in there, and i was informed of only one item that was missing (so three in total) and for which i received a refund. While i waited, i was in touch with the customer service which was really helpful. But when i received the incomplete parcel, i sent them another email and i was left with no answer from december 24th to january 12th.
On that day, they finally anwered me and their response was not only sincerely honest and apologetic but also kind because they added another refund of the total shipping cost.
If i give 4 stars it's because i feel olli ella is really a great great brand, the products are AMAZING, good quality, incredibly cute, and because the person on the other side of the computer is human and kind, despite the amount of time it took to answer but i truly feel it was because of the whole black friday debacle that took them by surprise.

2 weeks after order and no sign of my…

2 weeks after order and no sign of my order. I contact them and they tell me 2 of the items are out of stock. When was I going to be informed of that? They then asked would I like the rest of the items? Could they not have been sent out 2 weeks ago? So I’ve replied but nothing from customer service so far. Be warned, you’ll be waiting for an order that might not ever arrive and they may not contact you to tell you that!

Update 14 Feb: still waiting for a shipping confirmation. I really hope this order appears soon as my little girl is asking every day!

Beautifully made toys and outstanding customer service. I have ordered with Olli Ella 6 times over the last year and have never been disappointed. Any issues are quickly to be resolved and the communication is so refreshing. I will continue to support Olli Ella and will recommend to friends and family. They are SO CUTE!!!

Unfortunately, a few items were out of stock (which honestly just shows how loved and popular they are!), but the team were so kind and patient, helping me choose perfect replacements.

Everything was shipped super quickly and arrived in England within just a few days, amazing service!
The prams are absolutely beautiful and come in the sweetest carry-case bags, and the babies… oh my goodness, they are just TOO cute 😍 I got an Ozzie and a Leo and I’m already obsessed. I genuinely cannot wait to add more to our collection because the quality is just outstanding.

Please don't be put off by the reviews from my experience, the fillfment issues is something they are striving to fix, you can truly feel the love, care, and thought that goes into every single product. This brand has such a special community, and every interaction I had via email and Instagram was so warm, kind, and helpful. Bought a Dinkum Dog for xmas

Bought a Dinkum Dog for xmas. Opened the box and one leg was completely off. My two year old couldn't comprehend it. Stockist passed our complaint to Olli Ella, who told us to go back to the stockist. The dog is badly made. Cheap joints and inflated RRP. No one is helping us resolve the situation. We'll never buy from Olli Ella again.

Ordered beginning of December - Stroller frame, strawberry stroller cover, strawberry changing mat/bag to fit on stroller, pointelle pj’s for a Dinkum I sourced elsewhere. Did not dispatch, no update.
Two weeks later (!!!) received an email saying ‘sorry there has been a stock error’, cancelled the stroller & said ‘hope you’re not too disappointed’. The other items were to match the stroller of course I’m disappointed - Meanwhile, strollers were still available on the website!! After several emails chasing them for days, I left an angry voicemail & they finally got back to me. They discounted a rainbow stroller & got my two orders sent out - this is where I should have cut my losses & not spent any further money buying another stroller. We were on hol 19th-26th December, the presents were supposed to be taken with us. We arrived home to the parcels, late on the 26th I was prepping my daughter’s faux Christmas morning, opened the stroller - it was broken and also looks used. Like other people have said, bad quality, insufficient packaging. A week on and still no reply for my request to return for a refund. Very sad I couldn’t gift my daughter her main present. I’ve also asked to return the strawberry seat cover as it’s entirely useless to me without a stroller to put it on. The customer service is absolutely shocking. I’m not holding out hope I’ll even get my refund for the broken toy judging by the other reviews.
There’s been a stream of one star reviews with specific issues, mainly UK - then in the middle there’s two 5* reviews written by Australians not even talking about an order, saying Olli Ella must be going through some growing pains etc and they’ll still support them - It’s quite obvious these are fake reviews due to the situation they’re currently in. They’re destroying their brand.

Missing item from order

I placed an order on the 15th December, I got confirmation that both items had been shipped but only one item arrived in the box with an invoice stating both items should be there. The customer service subsequently has been non existent with no one responding to emails or phone calls. I’m appalled that such a seemingly well known/respected brand can treat customers so poorly. This was meant to be a Christmas present for my 3 year old daughter.

Damaged dolls, no response.

I ordered 2 dolls in November during their Black Friday deals, which were taking a long time to dispatch, I had to chase it to find out when they were arriving as there was no notification they were ever going to be sent. The dolls finally arrived and 1 was damaged and when customer service finally replied they offered a partial refund on the doll which isn't acceptable, I replied asking for an exchange or return, still no reply since 10th December, I have chased this about 5 times, still no response and 1 damaged doll that couldn't be given at Xmas. I don't think I'll be ordering anymore of these again until this company can demonstrate good customer service, as clearly looking through all these reviews I am sadly not the only person over the festive period, we understand that it's going to be busy at this time of year, but you've abandoned your customers and are providing poor customer service, and no responses or reasons, yet still encouraging customers to buy more dolls through email offers. This is such a shame because the previous dolls I received were lovely.

**UPDATE**
I reached out on social media and finally had a helpful response from the team and they promptly resolved the issue by sending a replacement on 1st January 2026, I felt the response I received was extremely apologetic and timely, so I advise anyone with similar issues to reach out via other methods if possible. Thank you to the Olli Ella team for resolving this issue, and I hope in the future we might look to order again once I can see your customer experience and quality checks have improved as I don't want to receive more poor quality goods with slow response for resolution, but in the meantime we will enjoy the dolls we already have.

Awful customer service, no order, cancelled on me after a month

Ordered 3 items in November, never heard from them - chased dec 12, they said would treat as urgent - they also accidentally forwarded me an email from their freight provider which said they didn’t have that order in their system . They then cancelled my order saying the items were out of stock (despite one, the stroller, still being in stock on their website at this point). I’ve been chasing them for weeks since this for a resolution and have not heard back. It’s so disappointing as it was an important part of my daughter’s Christmas gift. They have lovely products but I’m so disappointed and I really don’t want to give this company any more of my money

We understand how upsetting it is to wait for an order over an extended period, only to later be told items are unavailable, and we recognise that the lack of timely resolution added to that frustration.

This experience clearly fell short of the level of service we aim to provide. Since then, we’ve been reviewing our stock accuracy, order handling, and escalation processes to ensure issues are identified sooner and customers receive clearer, more consistent communication.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service!
We ordered a doll the 12the of november, never arrived!!! We send 7 mails to ask a refund, never an answer!
I wonder where all the money went….
