Worst customer service from any finance…
Worst customer service from any finance department I have ever encountered. Despite writing to heads of department and the founders no response. Not even an acknowledge. I have been waiting for a refund since 18 June for valet I had to carry out as the car was delivered in a filthy state.
Customer service from customer facing however has been very good.

So far so very very good
Got the car delivered yesterday - was amazed at the speed and efficiency of the whole process and love the UX of the app. Driver that dropped the car off was warm and knowledgable and Onto were able to delivery to my door in the middle-of-nowhere Yorkshire. Electric was easy to learn and car is in good condition.

Onto is super efficient
Onto is a breeze. So far every interaction has been quick, easy and effective. Recently I asked the provision of some docs necessary to require a resident parking permit in my area,
keeping my fingers crossed that I would get them in maybe a week.
It was Sat night late but by Sunday morning they were already in my e-mail inbox. Beautiful.

Misleading marketing
Their misleading marketing makes me very suspicious. They provide comparison prices against leasing options. It's very easy to see leasing prices online, and Onto's is provably false. In fact their quote for leasing is more than double what you can get elsewhere. It seems impossible that Onto could be cheaper when you think about it... Onto is offering flexibility to cancel anytime, so it has to be more expensive than a 2-year lease. This is the same as leasing being cheaper than PCP because PCP offers the flexibility to purchase at the end.
Do your own price comparison before you purchase, I'm sure a 2-year lease (including breakdown and servicing) plus insurance will be way cheaper than Onto.

My first ever EV experience, jumped in with both feet.
The Fiat 500e is like the Energizer Bunny on steroids, but cuter and way more eco-friendly. The delivery guy was pleasant and informative. The car is so quiet that you can sneak up on your neighbour and give them a heart attack just by saying, "Boo!" And the best part? It’s a ride that's totally electrifyingly - Vroom, vroom... but without the fumes! 😄🚗⚡️
