Have used Online Bedrooms for a few years now and can honestly say their service and product is top quality.

Never had a problem with them and if there was it has always been resolved straight away no questions asked.

I have fitted a lot of fitted furniture with a lot of different companies and Online Bedrooms is definitely up there with the best quality product. Which will come as a surprise with the cost being a lot lower than leading retailers.

Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Very pleased with fitted wardrobes they look great. From design to delivery excellent service. Fitted wardrobes myself very good construction and design , instructions flawless. Fitted three wardrobes in bedroom last year so pleased order two more and chest of draws this year for other bedroom which again of very high quality and again fitting straight forward.

We had a great quote & design with Dan, we ordered the matt cashmere push touch doors & the design inside & out was exactly what I was looking for, very helpful with any queries we had, price was great for good quality product, we have the bonus of our son being a joiner & installed the wardrobes for us & his feedback regarding fitting was good, he was impressed on the quality & barring one small hiccup had no problems at all, delivery was bang on time & everything came in perfect condition & very well packaged, my son had never heard of online bedrooms but said he would definitely use them & recommend them to others as would we.

Overall happy with our purchase. We spent time getting the design right with Jamie and he was able to adjust both designs and price until we were happy. The quality is good. We did have one damaged door and the wrong drawer fronts were sent but these were replaced quickly and easily with no hassle at all.

I will try to be as fair as possible. For context, I am a qualified aerospace engineer (MEng and PhD) and do a many not insignificant DIY projects at home without issue and producing good results, including building furniture I design myself.
- The product arrived in reasonable time and was very thoroughly packaged. It did take several hours to remove and dispose of all the packaging. Removing the wrap wasn't easy and required a stanley knife, risking cutting into the veneer at times. I believe this could be improved. There was a lot of waste film wrap and cardboard but I appreciate that the parts arrived without transit damage.
- The holes had damage around the edges where the veneer had chipped away. I was assured these would not be visible after assembly, but they were. The veneer was quite thin and brittle and also chipped away slightly during cutting (neither my tools nor the drill bits in the online-bedrooms factory were able to cut the veneer cleanly and consistently - I would estimate around 70% of the holes were not cleanly drilled). I used a mini-circular saw with 60 teeth (brand new blade) for cutting the scribe panels. The instructions state to use a jigsaw but I did not want a wiggly cut. A quick Google will show you that jigsaws are for complex more highly curved cuts while a mini circular saw is best for longer straighter cuts. I may be proved wrong on this but I now feel that a handsaw may be the best option for maximum control after consulting carpentry channels on YouTube - but it would take longer.
- I was then confronted with unclear instructions. I laid out all the parts carefully and noticed that many of them were labelled with the exact same names, despite being different shapes and sizes. The part names in the bill of material (BOM) in the instructions did not always match the labels on the components, and some items in the bill of materials were not included. These were not missing parts, just parts that were in the BOM but not supplied - this created confusion, and wasted time for me as I had to contact the company to understand if there was an error. I also had parts labelled 'right' and 'left' which were not symmetrical - I had to enquire as to whether they should have been handed or not. The instructions did not even link the part in the picture with the part name on the BOM. The quality of the drawings in the instructions and BOM were of low quality and it took me significant time to work out what to do. Part of this is due to the fact the liability is all on the customer once the work of assembly has commenced (especially once material is cut). So I was being very cautious and double checking everything. The videos are similarly unclear as the drawings. If the paper instructions and BOM were more carefully written (it would take me a couple of days at work to do this) there would be no need for the videos. It is inconvenient and slow to have to consult multiple sources of information, especially when they all lack clarity in different ways.
- Most of the build then went successfully until the last few steps, where quality issues arose in my view due to the inadequate instructions. These do not clearly show how to mark out the scribe panels, and the instructions about how to align the frame to the wall and floor are inaccurate and unhelpful e.g. " Use a spirit level to align to the wall" - you need both a spirit level and a square. If you have a floor that isn't level and a wall that isn't vertical aligning to the wall will lead to wonky doors. I believed the adjustment mechanisms in the hinges would be sufficient to adjust for this, believing the advice to align to the slightly non vertical wall was to ensure a square look. But this was not the case.
- Customer service was initially good until my complaint about the inadequacy of the instructions was passed to management. They dismissed my complaint and blamed me for poor workmanship. Their attitude was very dismissive, claiming thousands of successful installs. But what counts is the % successful installs, which I don't know. But I would expect many cases like mine. I now need to buy new scribe panels at my own expense.
- The drawer unit depth was not advertised clearly. I had a recess of 500 mm. The max drawers depth they could supply was 320mm - not really a good look or very practical. The end result did not look as highly functional as the pictures on the website.

Experience: Excellent. From the very start when we filled out an online enquiry form, to delivery and completion, everything has run smoothly. We were given invaluable information and instructions via email at every stage of the process, so we knew exactly what was happening. We particularly liked the email sent when the order was being processed, which said: “Do I need to do anything? At this stage... no! Relax and have a cup of tea”.
Personnel: Everyone we had contact with throughout the company, were all very professional and friendly. We felt at ease and looked after all the way through our experience and were given the upmost in care and attention.
Product: Extremely high quality fitted wardrobes made to a very high standard. The completed wardrobes are exactly what we had in our minds when we were first started imagining what we wanted them to look like. We loved them so much in our main bedroom that we ordered another set of fitted wardrobes for our guest bedroom

We have now had two different wardrobes from On-Line Bedrooms and on both occasions it was a great experience. The wardrobes are really high quality, very sturdy and the finish is excellent. We were very pleased to get a high quality product at such a good price.
We fitted them ourselves - assembly is easy and the instructions are very good. Scribing the end panels and plinths to the walls and ceiling does require some skill and tools to do the job, but a competent DIYer can do this.
Delivery and liaison was faultless throughout on both occasions.
I can now add that their after sales service is also excellent. We noticed a problem some 3 years after the first wardrobe was delivered and it was resolved quickly and without query.
We can really recommend the company and the product !

From initial enquiry to quote process with the designer we found the process easy. Plenty of adjustments accommodated by our designer with no hassle.
Payment process was simple and allowed for us to deposit at a discounted price and delay final payment until after Christmas which really helped out.
Delivery was simple but is only staffed by one person and requires customer to assist. No problem for us but I can see it being an issue for the less able bodied.
Fitter the wardrobes myself and it was easy. Plenty of instructions on paper and additional support in the form of videos on the website.
Minor issue with the hanging rails sent to us having been cut slightly too long so needed to cut them down. Again, easy for me to do but anyone with basic tools will struggle although to be fair, when I discussed this issue in a follow up customer call from the company they did offer to send out replacements free of charge.
Wardrobes look great and the wife is happy!

Overall; easy design & quote process, delivery arranged well and product is very strong / sturdy. Really gives confidence in the product.

Really nice wardrobes. Super solid, look like they'll last a lifetime. We got the cashmere colour, the Matt finish is superb. I had a few issues after placing the order but customer services sorted them with no bother whatsoever. I fitted the wardrobes myself, found it fairly tricky and took a while, the end result is just greath though, thanks!

Really happy with the service that we got with ordering our floor to ceiling fitted bedroom wardrobes. The part arrived as expected and very well packaged. The kit had easy to follow instructions. The quality of the carcass and the doors are excellent. We would recommend online bedrooms to anyone.

I simply made contact, sent an inspiration photo with my room dimensions and Jamie designed the units to exactly match my vision. My daughter was overjoyed at the redesign of her room

A fantastic experience from start to end. A friendly designer who was on my wavelength and quickly finalised the bespoke design to exactly what was needed. Friendly delivery driver who got everything to us on time. Quality product that's robust and looks great. Fairly easy to assemble - once you build one unit, the others are easy. Overall, I'm impressed! A world better than the overpriced famous competitors who offer misleading discounts!

Excellent communication from online bedrooms and the fitting and quality of materials that arrived was excellent. The instructions took a little bit of understanding as not fully clear for the person who has never constructed a wardrobe before but I am sure to a cupboard builder it would have been fine.

Solid and Sound will use again for bigger Projecs
