Very quick procedure, swiftly organised. Very reassuring treatment from everyone involved.

The whole experience was made acceptable and as comfortable as possible due to the friendly and understanding staff who acknowledge that people are out of their comfort zone , they could not have done better.

I was recently referred to optegra having been sent there by the village opticians in Snodland.
I was terrified of what was to come.
However once there the professional manner in which I was dealt with was exceptional and the surgeon Robert immediately put my nerves to rest.
Over the course of a few months I had cataracts removed from both eyes,Robert carrying out both.
I must say that for the few minutes of discomfort it was well worth it and my vision improved considerably resulting in me not needing glasses at all.
So if you are considering having cataracts removed I couldn’t recommend optegra enough. Thank you.

The staff are friendly and give you the information you need.
The surgery it self was done very quickly and in my case with no pain.
It's nice to be able see without glasses although I need reading glasses.

I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Optegra during a recent face-to-face screening assessment for Presbyond.

Before booking, I had an initial telephone consultation where I explicitly stated two things: I had already undergone LASIK in the past, and due to strict work requirements, I was strictly interested in Presbyond and nothing else. Despite this, the representative asked for my prescription, told me I was "borderline" because my distance vision was still quite good, and urged me to book an in-person assessment. Looking back, she was clearly just trying to secure a booking rather than give me accurate, honest advice.

My face-to-face appointment was a complete waste of nearly two hours. I went through multiple eye tests and scans, followed by a 35-minute wait in reception, only to finally see an Optometrist who immediately informed me that their surgeon wouldn't perform the procedure on anyone who had previously had LASIK.

To make matters worse, I was instructed prior to the appointment that I wouldn't be able to drive afterward due to dilating eye drops, so I paid for taxis to and from the clinic. In the end, the Optometrist didn't even administer the drops because there was "no point."

I spent nearly two hours at the clinic, paid out-of-pocket for unnecessary transport, and was led on by sales-driven telephone staff who completely ignored my explicit requirements and medical history. Extremely misleading and unprofessional service.

I was treated with the utmost care throughout, the staff were wonderful, and felt very calm& relaxed during the procedure, and after care, I would highly recommend optegra to my friends and family,

This was my second cataract operation and the staff were all kind and reassuring as they were with my first operation. They took time to ask me if I was alright and whether I needed anything.

The staff are lovely, they really helped me to calm down as I was scared.

From first to last, through my pre-op process and the operation to remove a cataract and insert a new lens, every step was explained clearly.
The staff were professional and supportive throughout. Fully endorse Optegra as first class.

The experience of having both eyes made cataract free was wonderful. The place itself is clean and bright with excellent while-you-wait facilities. The staff are friendly and explain in detail what is going to happen. The operation itself was so quick and pain-free. And my eyesight has improved generally. The best end result is that I can see my world in glorious colour again. I would recommend Optegra wholeheartedly
