I purchased two lifetime deals optinly and gozen forms from appsumo back in 2022 , I rarely used them , now when I needed them I discovered that they have terminated my account and apparently all other people who purchased from appsumo asking to move to a monthly subscription plan , they are claiming to have delayed payment issue ( zero evidence as their promotions ran for years on appsumo after I purchased the deals) , this is not an ethical or accepted business practice. a company which does not honor it's offer is not a company that . 1 star is too much for these scammers

What a bunch of absolute lying criminals. This ain't the first time, but it's definitely the biggest fraud action ever. Purchased and supported Optinly and their team, multiple products. Optinly was bought in 2021, and they are locking access claiming that payments from Appsumo in 2024 are delayed. This is totally unrelated to purchases made years ago. Instead optinly and the owning company GoZen are criminals. Shameful, and I hope your company continues to crash. And yes we will be following any name changes in business operations and future products.

I used to love this tool but recently they have been very unprofessional and took away access to users who have been part of their early adopters program. The tool has not evolved much since 2021 and I have yet to see AI integrated in their platform, when everyone else is using AI to actually evolve theirs.

I even have my picture and testimonial on their front page, please put it down, I'm no longer a happy customer.

I can confirm what the other reviewer said.
They chose to lock out customers due to a supposed conflict with AppSumo. Initially, they opted to sell lifetime accounts on a marketplace and ended up selling numerous licenses. Later, they encountered an issue with the marketplace—likely due to their own mismanagement. Rather than addressing the situation directly with the marketplace, they decided to hold customers in limbo. How is that considered legitimate behavior? Probably not. Lesson learned.

They decided to lock out customers because of supposed beef they had with AppSumo. So, first, they decide to sell lifetime accounts on a marketplace. They go on to sell a bunch of licenses. Later, they have some issue (probably their fault) with the marketplace and, instead of dealing with the marketplace itself, they decide to hold customers hostage. How's that legitimate behaviour?

I have always stayed away from any intrusive advertisement until I came around this tool and understood how important these interactions are with your audience!
