After a pretty thorough search for an SR6, I went with Ayva Software. They had some good reviews and I took a chance. I ordered the SR6 Midnight Steel Fleshlight Twist + T-Valve with the low noise servos. They cost more, but YOLO.
It was a pleasant surprise to have gotten it within one week. I was expecting to wait much longer. It came pretty well-packed. It was in one piece. It was obviously brand new, no return item. So there's that.
It's definitely a bit of a learning curve to use it. There wasn't a manual, but hooking it up to the computer was easy enough. The challenge was getting it to work with MultiFunPlayer. Thank god for ChatGPT. It walked me through the whole process. Yes, the free version of ChatGPT. It even knew the differences between the latest version and the Patreon version. (From what I can tell, the Patreon version is quite a bit better). Funny thing, ChatGPT actually made a few scripts to work automatically, with the Twist and the T-valve.
It works with Ayva software out of the box. So there's that. Also, some of the subscription-only stuff at Ayva is now free because access comes with the purchase. I'm looking forward to trying some of that in the future. Especially the remote features. Those sound pretty fun.
Learning to use it, from a customization standpoint, is difficult, but I figured it out pretty fast (in a few hours of trial and error.) It definitely requires more knowledge than the Handy, but I think it's well-worth putting in the time. It can be a superior experience.
The sleeve I used was the Turbo, and it held in place all by itself, no rubber bands or anything required.
My impression is the device I bought was solid. It seems very well-constructed. But only time will tell how long it lasts. Hopefully, for a long time.
