I want my refund that is owed to me
I reserved a hotel room, unfortunately we had to change the reservation to upgrade to a different larger room. OYO charged us for the first room and the second room. The original room reservation was to be refunded back to our bank account. It’s been over 3 months now and we still haven’t gotten the money- $666.77 that was taken by OYO. I have made several calls and emails. Customer support service is lacking to say the least. I have submitted everything they have requested, and still no refund. Very disappointed with the service, the room, and the breakfast.
The whole experience was terrible. All I want is my refund. I will never recommend this motel chain it anyone. Lesson learned read the reviews before booking, it will save you money and time!!!!! Still waiting on my $666.77

AVOID THIS PLACE! Dirty rooms, terrible bathrooms, very very poorly maintained property. Air conditioning is simply horrible and the lifts are super small and slow. Look at the pictures of the shades and all the duct tape around the windows. ( It seems I cannot upload the pictures to this page, another "nice" trick !)Only positives are location and lovely staff at reception. Expedia ( understanding is the middle- man ) charged us 1600 usd for two bedrooms to nights. A JOKE. Again, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Management should be ashamed. They are lying at This Hotel Trying to make it seem as if it's a hospital with the ads. I booked a 28 day stay as an apartment private room with company, boyfriend and they keep letting old white men pull up on my apartment and they stalking my boyfriend scaring him out of drinking liquor and smoking weed with me, even stalking our music and tv stations. The Owner Might Even be behind the Mirror Connected To my bathroom. They Keep Walking And Talking Past My Room Behind My Back Sending Unknown Vehicles To Harm Me Too. And Knocking On my door as if I owe them money for rent and faking housekeeping.

First off.. login requires providing a Google account or phone number. Both of which I don't have to offer OYO.
When booking, the site gave me no confirmation that the booking was successful. I was sent back to the previous page. It took 15+ minutes to get a confirmation email. Within that time I attempted to book again. Both ended up going through.
I immediately requested a refund. I got an email stating the refund is initiated. It's been 8+ weeks, no refunds. I contacted OYO 5+ weeks ago about not receiving the refund. Communication has been poor and I still haven't received it.
I just opened a credit card dispute. I'll never book through these guys again.

Ghetto! Staying at a studio 6 which is an Oyo…
Staying at a studio 6 Ocala, fl, which is an Oyo brand hotel. This has got to be the most ghetto experience of my life. Housekeepers living at the hotel, smoking weed in uniform outside the room with their roommates and getting arrested here for domestic violence with multiple cops with their guns drawn. Housekeepers going off on guests for LOOKING at them as they walk by to where she (Lisa) can’t control herself saying why’s this b*tch lookin at me? and five other housekeepers have to pull her into the laundry room and this chick is still employed and walking around the hotel after she did this in front of her manager? Housekeeping has no extra linens. What they do have is stained and nasty. They don’t clean extended stays. Tell guests to get their own sh*t. Wtf. A guest has a car system speaker in his room for the last week with the bass up and down vibrating all the room around it. Multiple complaints have been made by myself and other guests. Manage spoke to him once and it’s continued for days. Cops were pounding on my door at 1:30am due to a noise complaint someone made about the guests across from me. They didn’t open their door so the cops were back an hour later for arguing and doors slamming which has continues for three more nights until 3am. It’s like nobody’s managing the place at all.

No refund for cancelled reservation that qualifies for free cancellation
Hotel Reservation charge was collected in advance but the property is not aware of any advance payment. When cancelling oyorooms.com says "contact the property for refund" and the property says" We did not collect any advance payment, so nothing to refund". Never book through this agent.
Beware of Booking a Hotel Room with Oyo!
I booked a hotel room with Oyo two and a half months before arrival, and Oyo canceled my hotel reservation today, saying they double booked it and gave it to the person who made a reservation after me, so now I am left without a room. They are highly incompetent people and extremely unfair. Do not bother to book a room with them; you will likely lose your reservation because they will give your room to someone else. I would rate them a zero if I could.

I booked a room at motel 6 through Oyo and had to cancel plenty of time before the cancellation was due and was supposed to be refunded my money and I've been having a runaround through the company Colin is not getting anybody to answer the same old thing I am very disappointed with this company I should have looked at the reviews I would have seen that they all have been scamming people for a long time either through refunds or cancellation deals never ever will I come back to OYO hotel and I would advise everyone to stay away from here

Stayed in the time sq location Jan 2026. We left after 2 nights.
Rooms are small and dated but clean. Bathroom shower head was covered in black mould which is unacceptable. The rest of the bathroom seemed clean.
Only one outlet seemed to work in the whole room.
We were on the 9th floor and there was no hot water. Spoke to reception who advised there is a knack to getting hot water on the 9th floor. You have to run the hot tap at the basin for 5 minutes or so and run shower at the same time. It actually took over 10 minutes to get hot water at the shower. Given that the temperature was sub zero and there was a snow storm the hot water was an issue. We checked out earlier and went to a nearby hotel for the rest of our stay.
The hotel staff were nice and friendly and helpful but the hotel needs money spending to fix issues that are unacceptable. I can cope with small rooms that’s pretty standard for nyc but no hot water and outlets that don’t work are not acceptable.

DO NOT BOOK WITH OYO. IT IS A SCAM.I booked a NYC hotel. Paid online many days in advance. Got to the hotel and there was no code to get in. I spent 1.5 hours with customers service. They gave me the run around. 8 different people gave me different answers. N one could help. Then in cold winter, they said someone will get back to me in 24-48 hours. Am I supposed to live on the street? The answers I got were wild. No one knew anything. They referred me to call other other hotels for my access code. I got scammed. I asked them to refund me, and they said I never paid. Clearly, they didn't see my confirmation notice I had in my credit card statement. The entire things was crazy. I had to dispute on my credit card. I rarely write on these sites. This was the worst experience I've ever had.

Good Hotel VERY BAD AVOIDING REFUNDS
Stayed at the Oyo Times Square back in January, the Hotel itself if a perfect position, stayed in Room 502 which was warm and comfortable, beds made everyday and towels.
BUT it is now so very disappointing that after numerous emails they claim not to find our booking and as of yet have not refunded us the deposit - shameful

I was in there 1-26-2026 -1-27-2027 I didn't last but 30 minutes in that room because they have roaches it was disgusting the tub was disgusting the bathroom was disgusting the room was disgusting the bed was disgusting it looked like that they just didn't change the sheets just pull the covers up and I want to start a class action lawsuit so if anybody on here know how to start that and if y'all want to start it with me let's do it
