I ordered Farrow & Ball Stirabout and Slipper Satin through paint & papers. Stirabout turned our bedroom bright orange, while the Slipper Satin was visibly different from the same colour later purchased directly from Farrow & Ball. Both tins had a label stuck on top of the original labels. I have gone back and forth with them for weeks and they are refusing to refund me even though I have clear photographic evidence. Instead they offered me 15% off another purchase. In total this has cost me £260 plus what I will eventually have to pay to repaint the bedroom as well as so much wasted time and frustration.

Extremely poor products and extremely poor customer service. I would not trust them.

We ordered paint online was told we would receive our order in 3/5 working days only for that time frame to come and go, so rang to chase the other and got a guy who it sounded like we had woken up from a nap he wanted to put us on hold but as we were working we couldn't do that so he said he would get back to us witch he did in a email to say they were getting a delivery that day of our paint and would send it out to us and we would receive it on Wednesday, he then calls us on Tuesday to say he still doesn't have our paint and that it will be with us Friday now, what a joke we should have never been told that we would receive it in 3/5 working days when he never had stock to send out.

Very poor customer service. We bought paint specifically advertised as “suitable for period properties”, only to discover it is not suitable for lime plaster. The retailer’s position appears to be that it is suitable for period properties where the walls have been finished with modern plaster — which rather makes the “period properties” claim meaningless.

We asked for a reasonable compromise, but our final email was simply ignored. Very disappointing.

Got such terrible attitude from the person I was talking to whilst trying to resolve a problem with my order not arriving. Waited all day for the delivery with Fedex which failed to materialise. I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable for being upset that I waited 9 hours for a delivery that never appeared. To make matters worse the "young lady" I was talking to was so abrasive when I was trying to explain to her that it looked like they had not passed on my full address to Fedex. Without warning I was suddenly speaking to a different person who told me off when I asked him "what happened to the woman I was just speaking to?" he was offended that I called her a woman and said the "young lady" had passed the phone to him. Absolutely ridiculous.

The second person was slightly more helpful than the "young lady" but even he was saying some crazy things to me like "we are not Amazon" and "you should have called us yesterday" while also saying "we have no control over Fedex."

I am also in ecommerce. If a customer has a problem with a delivery I take FULL responsibility for letting them down. And I will do everything to get a problem resolved, no matter how small the order.

Word of advice to Paint & Paper: get the "young lady" to do another job at your business, she is really ill-equipped to be speaking to customers, has a terrible aggressive manner when speaking on the phone, and is too easily annoyed by simple problems that are presented to her.

I will always support independent business over the large retailers. Because usually a small independent will give you exemplary customer service as they have to protect their businesses against the big guys. But to make a customer feel like it's their fault for waiting around all day for an order that never arrives is really NOT the way to go.

I ordered paint from this company on 13.09.23 the service was excellent, with swift delivery and the paint was packaged very well. I had unfortunately bought the wrong finish and so had to return the paint. I kept having to chase/remind them that I was waiting for a returns label and then waited a month for a refund! My emails enquiring about my refund went unanswered. In the meantime I had ordered the correct pain, which also arrived swiftly.
All in all, good service when your buying, but poor with regards to everything else....

Just received my F+B paint. Excellent service, price and delivery from start to finish. My husband said the packaging of the 5litre tin was the best bit of packaging he had ever seen.

I ordered a Farrow and Ball paint that I was unable to get in a particular colour from several chain stores. After trolling through the web I found this company, I checked the reviews which were very positive so I ordered it.The paint arrived very quickly it was really well packed. Excellent service. Will definitely use again and the bonus was it was cheaper than the chain stores 👍

Excellent service, ordered paint a couple of times and delivered the next day. Quality products, best prices, fast delivery and great packaging for securing the paint. As it states on the website, when concerned about stock and delivery times its worth a call. I did call to make sure and they didn't dissapoint on their promise. I highly recommend and I will be ordering again.

Outstanding service from paint and paper, the courier failed to deliver to the correct address and paint and paper posted out replacements understanding the urgency of having the paint ready for the decorator! We later found the address the order was delivered to and managed to get the original order returned! Karl from the company was very understanding and assisted me throughout the issue!
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company to friends and family.

Have used this company many times - pre lockdown and during - they have never failed to deliver on time. Their communication is first class - I would never buy my Farrow & Ball paint from another supplier. Highly recommend.

First order with this company and it was fantastic. I ordered the paint on Friday and it was delivered to me by Monday. During covid-19 I thought this was amazing as I can't say I've the same experience from the much bigger establishments. The price was really competitive and I'm thankful I came across them as I do prefer to support smaller businesses instead of big chains like B&Q etc.

Prompt delivery, good customer service. My initial online inquiry was dealt with promptly. Paint delivered only a few days later. As a first time customer I received a nice discount. Would recommend the retailer.
