Appalling service and support
I bought a dress for my daughter for her Grandads funeral in Letterkenny branch as she was unable to shop due to just being out of hospital, it didn't fit and between her being ill and the death of my Father inlaw I was one day out of returning the dress. I explained and hadn't realsied nor was told that I only had 2 weeks for return as nearly every shop was doing extended returns for Christmas. Absolutely wouldn't budge and when I said I'd never shop here again both assistants laughed heartedly. Used to love Sophie B range but I will NEVER buy from this store again. Appalling service. Not even an apology nothing,
I ordered a dress at the waterford…
I ordered a dress at the waterford store on 17th November as out of stock in store. One was located in Wexford and waited to hear. Visited the store on numerous occasions and eventually on 6th December the waterford store located 2 more in Mullingar and Letterkenny. I received a call today 16th December to say the dress was not available. Very poor customer service from the Waterford store. I am very disappointed with Pamela Scott.

I recently bought a skirt online from Pamela Scott. When it arrived and I tried it on it didn't suit me. I had to return it by post as the store in Kilkenny is closed due to COVID. I am most annoyed to discover that even though I do not have a new skirt it has still cost me €12.90 (€4.50 delivery & €8.40 return registered post as advised). This was my first experience shopping online with Pamela Scott as I usually do in store. I will no longer be doing either. Very disappointing.
Poor online service
I purchased a jacket from Pamela Scott online, which I had to return due to the very poor quality. When arranging the return I was informed that the courier had been contacted and the item would be collected the following day, this did not happen - it was rearranged and again did not happen. After several emails I was eventually advised that the courier did not actually pick up returns from the UK and that I should arrange the return myself and I would be reimbursed. Unfortunately despite several emails, I have not been reimbursed. My husband travels to Ireland regularly for work and I get him to pick up items for me now and again, however due to lockdown he wasn’t travelling so I ordered online. Unfortunately the online service from start to finish was really poor and I will no longer be giving Pamela Scott my custom.
Recently ordered bridesmaids dresses…
Recently ordered bridesmaids dresses from Pamela Scott. Got an email to say one of the orders couldn't be fulfilled as the size was out of stock, I emailed the customer service to see would the size be coming back in and they (Amy) managed to source the size for me from one of the stores, dress was then sent out to me and I was even provided with a discount code. All sorted within a couple of days. Very impressed and happy with the service and glad to be able to support Irish.
In-store service versus online service.
I have been a fan of Pamela Scott since I discovered their shops on a visit to Ireland from the UK many years ago. I have always found the service in-store (Wexford, Cork and Grafton St, Dublin - now sadly closed), to be excellent. However, sadly, I am unable to say the same for the online service. COVID 19 precluded me from visiting Ireland this year so I decided to order items online. Unfortunately, from my first order I had to return two items, which cost me in excess of £20 to post. I subsequently ordered a jacket which was in stock but several days later Pamela Scott advised it was no longer available. Stupidly, I didn’t learn from my earlier experience and foolishly ordered another item of clothing yesterday (again apparently in stock) only to be advised today that my order had been cancelled and, as an apology, offering me a discount of 20% on my next order. Needless to say, I shall not be taking them up on their offer; three strikes and they’re definitely out!
Very poor service
Very poor service, ordered a cardigan and scarf for a gift for Xmas on Dec 8th . Emailed them on 27th Dec as still no sign of my order. Got a response on 28th to tell me the order is on its way back to Pamela Scott as the delivery company was unable to deliver to me and tried to contact me. Have been working from home and have had no issues with any other deliveries and also have had no contact on my mobile or home phone from delivery company either. Really disappointed with the response from PS as they should have contacted me to let me know not wait until I contact them . Won’t be ordering anything again from them that’s for sure.

Pamela Scott branch in Sligo, Ireland. Very disappointed with the customer service provided. Arrogant. No hello, no please, no thank you. I felt that I was not good enough to shop at Pamela Scott. They are one of the branches now closed.
I asked one of the assistants to get me a belt and she told me she there were a few and she did not know which one I wanted and I should come out and look at them myself.
