This company is a disgrace conning old and vournable people out of money they said my car was parked for 3hrs no chance it was maybe 15 min max so don't pay these scammers whatever you do
I parked my car at Holiday Inn Express…
I parked my car at Holiday Inn Express Exeter and paid the full parking fee using your onsite machine. Unfortunately, your machine does not provide receipts, leaving customers without direct proof of payment at the time of transaction.
A week later, I was shocked to receive a penalty notice, accusing me of failing to pay. Fortunately, I paid using my MasterCard, and I have clear evidence on my statement showing the transaction labeled "YourParkingSpace Canary Wharf ENG" dated 07th September (transaction date 09th September).
This entire experience reflects unprofessional and unacceptable practices. It appears to be an attempt to wrongfully collect penalties, relying on the fact that many customers may not have proof of payment without a receipt. Such behaviour is harassment and undermines trust in your company.
This situation has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I urge you to update your payment systems to issue receipts and prevent this kind of issue from happening to others.
If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to Trading Standards, consumer protection authorities, and local regulatory bodies to report what I consider a deliberate attempt to exploit customers.
I parked on a doctors surgery to run in…
I parked on a doctors surgery tk run in and get application forms 3 YEARS AGO.. there was no payment system. But I think they thought i parked there to use the school opposite which isn't allowed. I had a court letter, I appealed, I've now had an allocation to the small claims court, in their letter it states and they've underlined it in pen there is a copy of the defense enclosed. NOPE... there isn't. Let's see what happens now.

I received a parking fine whilst visiting a Beefeater restaurant for which I paid for, the appeal process was so difficult to progress and from the numerous negative reviews, I decided not to bother and pay the fine, in order to ensure the reduced offer.
This has left me feeling that they are scammers who make it very hard to appeal. I will never a car park that is controlled by Park Maven.
Need to review their signage
Saturday evening parking said £2.50 from 6pm to midnight. Paid on the app. We stayed 3 hours within that time and received a parking notice. Sent evidence of signage and my payment and successfully challenged. Took them 3 weeks to reply.

Scam big theives rubbish staff disgusting.they send me tickets for holiday in express Luton Airport after 2 years, even though I told them back in 2023 I was not driving the vehicle.such a big idiots.
Surprised to get a fine when I had paid…
Surprised to get a fine when I had paid (30 July) so had to go through appeal but it turns out "Unfortunately, it appears on this occasion there was a technical error which meant your vehicle registration was not sent through from the booking platform to our Parking Charge processing system. We can confirm this has now been resolved." which may help others who parked around this time.
Do not pay the fines to this company
Do not pay the fines to this company! They are thieves and have no right to send you fines. If you don't pay, they won't do it to you!
Parkmaven parking at Staveley Mill…
Parkmaven parking at Staveley Mill Yard, Cumbria is confusing and inadequate. Try to pay and the machine does not work, apppeal and by the time they reply the fine has gone from £60 to £100. I am disabled and attending physio there, my wife driving. She could not understand the complicated system, thought she had paid but it seems she had not. She still got her money off at Wilfs Cafe though while waiting to collect me. We did appeal but they seem only interested in the money.
Thieving Scammers who should be locked up
Parkmaven monitor the "FREE" car park at Premier Inn Hull West. They dont tell you this when you check in to the hotel. Just "enter your reg in the tablet" which I did. 2 weeks later I get a £100 parking fine, which becomes £60 if you pay quickly. My car leasing company told me that Parkmaven made it so difficult to dispute fines that they just pay up, and pass the fine on to the driver. Their small print says if its paid you cant appeal.
The secretary of state for transport should not allow these cowboys (in this case according to Companies House 2 Frenchmen living in France and a Brit residing in the USA) to continually rip off the public. Its/they are a disgrace.
I have received 7 parking charges for…
I have received 7 parking charges for the same location. I have sent evidence of payment as part of my appeal on the 4th August which was sent via post tracked and signed for. Also done a formal complaint and heard nothing. Customer service is none existent. Communication via e mail is appalling.
I parked and paid for my ticket (with bank evidence) but still got a fine!
Would give them ZERO if I could. I parked and paid for my ticket using their online system. When inputting my registration, it was able to correctly calculate the amount that I had to pay (so must have linked to my vehicle to be able to calculate this) and I paid that amount. I was putting my card back into my purse and due to the receipt being on a timer did not get time to get one but thought I would be fine as the bank would have evidence I had paid. 2 weeks later I got £100 fine saying that I had not paid. I summitted an appeal with full evidence from the bank of the exact date, time and amount that I had paid and I had to wait 2 weeks for a decision. They have now stated that they wont accept the bank evidence as the registration is not logged on the transaction but have reduced from £100 to £20. I have already paid the parking fee and now I will have to pay the fine or appeal to the independent appeals office. Always get a physical receipt (be quick though due to timer) and keep for 28 days. I have decided that there are other places I can shop where I won't get scammed by ParkMaven so sadly will not be parking there again and local businesses will now be losing custom.
Refused refund on cancelled ticket
2 fines at the same location. I was given just 2 days to make the first payment as the letters arrived so late. I paid 1 ticket as I had no time to do otherwise.
After contacting the location of the car park,
I was informedthe tickets were cancelled as the payment system was new and I was not updated on this.
However, Parkmaven refused to refund the payment despite the cancellation of the fine.
As predatory as you expect.
Genuine customer fined despite receipts – misleading and unfair practicese receipts…
Genuine customer fined despite receipts – misleading and unfair practices
I received a £100 parking charge from Park Maven at Stansted after visiting Caffè Nero for breakfast and two coffees. I provided receipts proving I was a genuine customer, yet Park Maven rejected my appeal.
Key issues:
1. Unreasonable time limit – only 1 hour allowed, which is totally unrealistic for a café setting. By the time you’ve queued and sat down, most of your “time” is already gone.
2. Inadequate signage – there is no sign at the Caffè Nero entrance telling customers about this restriction. The largest text on the boards is advertising, while the actual 1-hour limit is buried in small print. Easy to miss, which feels intentional.
3. Misleading information – Caffè Nero support claimed there was signage “directly outside the store.” My own video evidence proves otherwise.
4. Pressure tactics – Park Maven reduced the fine to £10 “as a goodwill gesture.” This shows they know their case is weak, yet they still pressure customers into paying.
This setup feels less about managing parking and more about trapping genuine customers. A system that penalises people even when they can show receipts is fundamentally unfair.
Be very careful if you park on a site run by Park Maven — or better yet, avoid it altogether.
Avoid any car parks that use Parkmaven
Two incorrectly issued fines when I had three days of valid parking. One was cancelled on appeal the other was upheld. Had to go to POPLA to try get it overturned. Decision awaiting.
Ensure the payment machine gives you the correct vehicle registration upon payment and take a photo of your receipt this is how they get you.
Website is riddled with errors to make you give up with appealing. Email complaints @parkmaven.com instead so you can actually appeal.
I have completed an on line appeal…
I have completed an on line appeal against a charge at least 5 times, but no response. You can’t call them to speak to anyone. I managed to find an email address so I sent all the details with photographic evidence that I bought a ticket, still no response. Heard nothing for a couple of months and then I receive a letter from the bailiffs demanding £170!!! I will never use one of their car parks again. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
AVOID this parking company AT ALL…
AVOID this parking company AT ALL COSTS.
I am currently being dragged to court for allegedly “not paying for parking” at a site that was signposted everywhere as free parking for customers. I had a confirmed booking and hold video evidence, audio call recordings, and written confirmations proving that no payment was required.
Despite this, the company claims they POTENTIALLY sent me 15 letters from debt collectors, I never received a single one until the sudden arrival of court papers. This behaviour is not only unreasonable but feels deliberately intimidating.
Looking online, I discovered that almost 100% of reviews are 1-star, with countless people reporting the same issues: being fined despite paying correctly or having valid entitlement to park. It is a consistent pattern that cannot be ignored.
In my experience, this company operates in a way that feels unfair, exploitative, and completely out of line with how an honest business should treat the public.
My advice: never use any car park managed by this company. Protect yourself and go elsewhere.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS COMPANY!
BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY
BE AWARE OF PARKING USING THIS COMPANY
I WAS WELL WITHIN MY TIME LIMIT AND THEY STILL SENT ME A NOTICE DESPITE I HAD FULL PROOF OF PAYMENT AND AND PAID EXTRA FOR A RECEIPT WHICH I SUBMITTED TO THEM.
DESPITE ALL THIS THEY THOUGHT THEY DID ME A FAVOUR MY CANCELLING MY TICKET!
PARK YOUR CAR AT A TRAIN STATION OR PRIVATE PARKING INSTEAD
A Shambles Masquerading as a Service
A Shambles Masquerading as a Service
If Parkmaven set out to prove how not to run a booking platform, it has succeeded brilliantly. Their website promises convenience, savings, and simplicity — yet what customers actually receive is confusion, hidden fees, and customer service that gives the phrase “black hole” of communication a bad name.
First, the website and booking interface feel like they were cobbled together during a long lunch, poorly tested, and left to languish. It’s glitchy, unintuitive, and liable to time out just as you’re entering payment details.
Second, the prices are often no better — and in some cases worse — than booking directly with the car parks themselves. The so-called “discounts” look suspiciously like creative accounting rather than genuine savings. You end up wondering if you’ve been scammed by a middleman who adds friction, not value.
Third, there’s the customer support, which is laughable if you’re in the mood for farce. Try phoning, and you’ll be bounced around or left on hold indefinitely. Email them, and you’ll get either a template response that doesn’t match your issue at all, or (more often) no response whatsoever. For a service that handles payments and bookings, that lack of accountability is beyond unacceptable — it’s contemptuous.
And if you dare to look at reviews elsewhere, there’s a litany of horror stories: stranded travelers at airports, bookings that vanished into thin air, refunds that never materialised, and an overall impression of a business built to squeeze cash while shirking any notion of responsibility.
In short:
Unreliable platform
Opaque pricing
Abysmal customer support
A pattern of leaving customers stranded
Parkmaven does not bring value to the parking process; it inserts itself as a middleman that actively makes everything worse. You’d be better off lashing your car to a passing tugboat than trusting it to this sham of a booking service.
Verdict: Avoid at all costs.
Utter disgrace of a company !!
Utter disgrace of a company !!! Had proof I paid and still charged me . Reported them but o doubt anything will be done . I had receipt , cctv footage of payment and they still wanted me to pay! Disgusting!! I will never use a car park ran by them ever again !
