Honest appeal unfairly declined
I tried paying for my parking (less than £5) but in the location there is no WiFi coverage and also very bad phone reception. I was unable to pay and so I emailed the company to show I took a picture of the sign and had full intention to pay. It was less than a fiver! I was unable to and they didn’t accept paying after I left.
I had a fine issued and provided the evidence of my email and picture of the sign which should show my genuine intention to pay… well my appeal came back and it was declined because, “ We can see that other users of the car park were successfully able to make parking payments on the same day and
at the same time you parked!” which in my opinion is completely irrelevant. Just because some people managed to get signal for it to work DOES NOT mean that I did. How is this a genuine reason to decline a genuine appeal???
I’m disgusted in their response and ignorance and am now forced to pay £60 because I don’t trust their reviewing system.
Disgusting way to respond to an honest attempt at paying in the first place. Do they get commission for declining fines because what the hell!?
Anyway, F them :)
In my experience an appalling company
In my experience an appalling company. In terms of our society and economy, they create nothing, invent nothing, exploit mistakes, exploit the weak and vulnerable. As anti Christian as you could imagine. The company director details are all available to see on the Companies House website. A few are on LinkedIn. Please give them feedback - kindly and legally
.
Please stay clear of this company
Please stay clear of this company. I appreciate when I see reviews like this I would usually ignore this, yet on this occasion, my wife paid to stay in the car park by following the companies instructions. The company did not stipulate the transaction did not go through. What should have been a £9 fee is now a £60 fee. Unfortunately as we have no proof of the transaction, this now
( appears ) to be a scam and I will be avoiding this companies name. As i work at a large company, i will be explaining this issue to other to avoid this company due to incompetence. Never had any other issue with popular parking apps.
My daughter borrowed my car for the…
My daughter borrowed my car for the weekend and parked it in a parkmaven Carpark she paid for the parking and left the Carpark within correct and valid times
We then got issued a parking ticket for 100 pounds saying no valid ticket paid for parking.
I appealed sending the evidence of payment and was told that the correct registration hadn’t been entered
At first I couldn’t understand what they meant but realised my daughter had put 2 zeros 00 instead of 2 letters OO at the beginning of registration everything else was the same so a simple mistake
They could see that that was what had happened and could clearly see that the parking had been paid for but still wouldn’t let it go and charged us a further 20 pounds for their time for looking into the matter
Money grabbing !!
Anything to get money from the innocent
I turned my car around on the road and when doing so, reversed with the rear of the car being level with the entrance to a car park managed by them. The following day I drove past the carpark and their system registered my number plate as the time I left the carpark - they sent me a PCN. After appealing and waiting 4 weeks for a response, they cancelled the PCN for a completely different reason. What a waste of my time.
Shame there's no stars
Shame there's no stars. Thieving B@5t@ards is all I can say. No cash or card machines on site but apparently that doesn't matter as you can use a QR code to scan for paying for the car park if you don't want to download an app. Not sure how you do this if you haven't got a phone with you at the time.

Again website doesn't allow you to make a proper appeal, had to send a complaints email with evidence on. Don't read the appeal, just reject. Also can't get facts right. Robin hood used to have a horse and a gun to rob you, now you just have to park.
Do not use these carparks
This company should burn in hell. Issue invalid fines when customers have paid. We were going to go through the appeal process but, as we are going to be out of the country for a few months, we couldn't risk bailiffs breaking into our property. We ended up paying. I thought the govt were going to do something about these companies that bleed the public for their own profits.
Thieving company
Thieving company. Two weeks in a row they have knowingly sent me fines for not paying for parking from the exact minute that I drove into the office park despite paying for parking the minute that I parked. I appealed both of these (which is time consuming) and they rejected my appeal without any valid reason. An absolute disgrace.

Don't try and recharge an electric car in a car park operated by this lot. You'll have to pay for parking too.
The webiste doesnt actually let you…
The webiste doesnt actually let you make an valid appeal. There is a drop-down box to "select" your reason for not paying... but guess what, it only gives you one option which wasnt appropriate ... so they will reject the appeal. I was a guest at the Carlton Hotel Bournmouth where parking was including in the price - this is a sleezy, dishonest, and very unprofessional practice. Guests at the Carlton Hotel beware!
I was issued with a PCN (Parking charge…
I was issued with a PCN (Parking charge notice) from this company requesting payment. The car park in question was at Diglis bay, Worcester and had no parking machine, signage was confusing and without a mobile phone you was unable to purchase a ticket. I displayed my disabled blue badge and went about my business. No first letter arrived reference a parking fee, the second letter was undated, had no invoice/fee unless I scanned a code. I had no chance to appeal via the normal route as no original letter was sent. Next thing I am being threatened by a debt collection agency. I have basically told them to take me to court as I have more than enough evidence to prove my case! Challenge this company all the way. They do not reply to emails or via their website portal. Keep all evidence. Post it to both parking company and debt collection agency and ensure you get recorded or special delivery! Finally, I have informed the trading standards of this company and their breach of their own code of conduct let alone private car parks or trading standards. I have also threatened to counter sue them in court for the alarm, distress and threatening nature of the debt collection agency which has impacted my diagnosis of ptsd. Its a fraudulent and deceitful way to scam drivers. Fight them!
Still Threatening Bailffs for…
DESPITE EMAILS OF CONCERN NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO RESPOND. WHAT A NASTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY THIS IS - JUST LIKE DCB LEGAL.

Still Threatening Bailffs for Fraudulent Parking Fine
Another Rottweiler company like DCB Legal trying to frighten an elderly guy into paying for a parking fine he did not create.
Some b’stard registered his car at my address. Parkmavan refuse to believe I’m not the owner. Now they have contracted DCB to threaten me with bailiffs for not paying the fine.
DVLA - likely still working from home - have failed to de-register this car from my address.
Both Parkmavan and DCB are insisting I pay.
JOKERS
What a joke of a ‘company’ this is. We parked at East Midlands Premier Inn and paid £14 for parking overnight. The receptionist gave us a code to use to get it discounted. When it asked for car registration we accidentally put the code in there instead of our number plate (we didn’t realise this until we got a fine a couple of weeks later)’ They had photographic proof we entered and left the car park. We appealed and told them it was a genuine mistake….we also sent them proof of payment on our banking. Nope…they said our payment didn’t match up to the date we were there. Absolutely rubbish!!!! They reduced our ‘fine’ from £100 to £20….are we supposed to be grateful? They said if we don’t pay the £20 within 14 days then it will go back to the original amount. No phone number to actually speak to anyone and they took over a month to respond to our appeal.
Machine difficult and confusing to use recieved non payment demand even though my credit card shows I did pay.
Machine difficult and confusing to use. I did manage to pay eventually and have credit card receipt to prove it, but, looking online, appeal only seems to increase the charge from £60 to £100 because it takes them significant time to respond.
Parking fine £60 to £100! No previous letters
I have been charged £100 for a parking fine that i didn’t even know i was being charged for because i've been focusing on university full-time (i did not receive a letter before this for the £60 which i would’ve been more than happy to pay for)! i have no part-time job whatsoever, and i've contacted them twice via their website, in which they don’t respond to by the way. i’ve now contacted them via email for a complaint to see if £40 can be refunded back to me but i highly doubt that would even happen. They do not communicate with you! Just as long as their get money with no care about your circumstances.
Absolute scammers!!!
Absolute scammers sent me a letter stating I was parked in a location for 23 hrs when in fact I was working absolute scumbags dont even interact with these people !!
No shame
What a disgraceful company. My elderly father received a parking fine after taking my mother who has Parkinson’s to the drs. He did indeed put the registration into the iPad (or so He thought). He is nearly 80 and a technophobe!
I appealed on their behalf. In what apparently takes 7 days for an appeal on the ParkMaven website we waited a month. I emailed 4 times and made a complaint to which NOTHING was returned. Not even an acknowledging reply. The stress has made mums Parkinson’s spike horrendously, dad was beside himself because they haven’t got money at that age to throw away and he knows he did his best to input that reg into the iPad.
Today I received the result of the appeal. Still no acknowledgment of all my emails, they have denied the appeal - but reduced the fine to £20 to cover the administration. You tell me that’s not them saving face and not having the nicety to say “yeah ok sorry we get it!”.
What a horrible company. Not everybody understands technology. Not everybody gets it right. Not everybody is a whizz - but at least my family have manners and reply to emails and say please and thank you.
ParkMaven - you carry on ripping the genuine people off. Hope you sleep well at night.
Reducing the fine to £20 to cover your administration costs - you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!
I am trying to get in contact with…
I am trying to get in contact with anyone but a voicemail at PARK MAVAN as I have paid for multiple parking tickets and nobody can explain the situation and where I stand.
This should be finished now but then the "number" keeps growing!!
I worked for company PARKMAVEN
I worked for company PARKMAVEN, but I resigned after just one month because I couldn’t keep doing it in good conscience. During the training, I was instructed on how to deceive people and extract money from them. The company’s entire model was based on misleading and pressuring clients. I was told that no matter what arguments or valid points customers had, they should always be treated as if they were wrong and forced to pay. I decided to quit because I couldn’t take part in such practices.
