Unhappy with the office service
I took my 2000 VW Tiguan R-Line 2.0 Diesel for a service at Listers Volkswagen Loughborough, where they changed the air filter. Immediately after this work, my idle speed changed permanently: when stationary and in gear, it now sits at 1000 rpm instead of the correct 750 rpm it always used to.
This is a well‑known and standard situation: when you fit a new air filter, the engine’s ECU needs to re‑calibrate its idle settings to match the new airflow. All that is required is an official VW idle adaptation / reset procedure using their diagnostic tool — a quick, routine step that should have been done as part of the original service.
Instead of doing this simple task correctly, they are refusing to carry it out, and are now demanding I pay an extra fee to bring the car back in and investigate. They claim “no fault was found” after one short road test — but this is not a mechanical fault, it is a calibration issue that their own equipment can fix in minutes.
It is completely unacceptable that work carried out by their own team caused this change, and now they refuse to put it right without charging me more money. This basic post‑service check and reset should be part of their standard service quality — not an extra‑cost job. I have escalated this to Volkswagen UK

Great buing experience from Josh.
From the first approach by phone Josh was really helpful and went out of his way to accommodate what I was looking for. He made it easy for me to come and see the car, a very comfortable test drive experience and easy part exchange. We do not live close to the dealership and Josh was really helpful fitting us in with the times we could manage.

Cannot rate this dealership highly enough. I bought a used VW Multivan from them recently and Muhammed in sales was amazing from start to finish. The buying & handover process was super smooth, price reasonable and follow-up was great; it was overall a much better buying experience than I had at another VW dealership not long ago. Would not hesitate to recommend, especially Muhammed in sales.

Parkway have nearly £700 of my money
I had some repair work done on my VW ID.3 back in the middle of June and accidently paid on the wrong card (personal instead of business) . I subsequently paid on the correct card and Parkway assured me they would refund the first card. They have still not done so. Every time I call someone tries to blame someone lese or some other department. The one thing noone has done is actually owned and sorted this for me. Meanwhile I am nearly £700 out of pocket. I would not use this garage again.

Parkway agreed to purchase my vehicle…
Parkway agreed to purchase my vehicle which i had advertised on Autotrader at an agreed price less than advertised, they advised me to remove advert as they had agreed sale. after back and forth emails photos bank details etc and awaiting pick up details and after a phone call and email asking what was hold up and did they need anything further from me they contacted me today saying they were over stocked and therefore cancelled the purchase of my vehicle. i even took car of road to keep low mileage as agreed. this is NOT how customers should be treated, if they was less than 1star would have given
