Particula intentionally misled backers…
Particula intentionally misled backers on indiegogo with their Go Chess campaign by listing knowingly false anticipated shipping dates, requiring high additional shipping costs and then going dark with regards to updates, customer service, etc. Stay away from any campaign or product line they have because they are not in this for the end user to be satisfied, they are simply trying to grab as much cash as possible and then hide!

We have shared Kickstarter and Indiegogo updates openly about delays, challenges, and technical hurdles throughout the project.
We have successfully delivered GoChess Mini and GoChess Lite to thousands of happy customers around the world.
Our team is working relentlessly on GoChess XR, which is our most complex and ambitious product to date.
Regarding shipping:
The shipping fee was collected before the major delays, in order to secure logistics and fulfillment planning at the time. Since then, global shipping costs have increased dramatically, and we did not pass any of that increase on to backers.
We fully understand how difficult the delay has been, and we acknowledge that frustration is natural. But the suggestion that this was done to deceive or disappear does not reflect the reality of a company that continues to deliver products globally and actively develop its flagship project.

Particula has systematically failed on every count, exhibiting behavior that dangerously borders on the very definition of a scam.
After two years since the successful funding of this project, the product remains undelivered. This protracted failure is compounded by an absolute vacuum of professional communication. The customer service, when it condescends to reply, utilizes nothing more than a series of canned, copy-pasted apologies and hollow expressions of "understanding." This is not customer service; it is an insultingly cynical attempt to placate frustrated investors with minimal effort.
Furthermore, the recent cessation of consistent monthly updates, replaced by sporadic, substance-less posts, only serves to solidify the impression that this company has lost focus, if not good faith.
Particula, you represent the antithesis of what responsible crowdfunding should be. Your actions are a stain on the platform, setting a detrimental precedent for unreliability and disrespect toward the very community that believed in and funded you. Your consistent negligence and refusal to provide a significant official delivery date are truly deplorable and make you utterly untrustworthy.

The GoChess XR was backed through a crowdfunding platform, not purchased as a finished, in-stock product. During this development process, Particula has already delivered multiple products that originated from crowdfunding, including GoCube, GoDice, and GoChess Lite and Mini. GoChess XR, the robotic version, is still in active development. While delays have occurred, the project is ongoing, transparent updates have been shared with backers, and we are now preparing for an upcoming beta phase as part of the final steps toward release.

I got my GoDice set with the DnD shells…
I got my GoDice set with the DnD shells about three years ago, used them for a while, and I just wanted to start using them again with Foundry VTT after a long break. I wasn’t sure how to set it up because there were some changes in the new Foundry version, but the Particula team was super helpful. They quickly helped me out and even updated the info on the Foundry module's site. Great product, great people, can totally recommend!

"Smart play"
Definitely some of the most innovative toys my family has. My new Harry Potter chessboard is beautiful and the AI assistant is new to me but I love it. The quality is solid, the tech feels futuristic but easy to understand, and most importantly it's fun! I’m impressed and will be back for more.
