I love how the staff and company goes above and beyond to make sure that you are being helped and are happy. They really do care and want to help you get the job and success that you deserve. Rose, is who I started with and she was the sweetest person and so helpful.

People are really nice. You can find an expert on anything and arrange a meeting.

I ended up getting a job in my field after working with Pathrise. The contract you sign provides a safety net for you. You get a trial period where you test out the program and have the option to back out if you feel it isn’t right for you. You are under no obligation to accept or turn down job offers. If you get a job that doesn’t pay 40k or more they release you from the program at no cost to you. And if you go a full year without getting a job or a job that pays more than 40k they release you again at no cost to you. The mentors are really good at negotiating salary and can help you basically get an increase in your offered salary so big that it covers the cost of the program itself. Many of the mentors I worked with work at Google, Amazon, Uber, Nestlé, etc. And they were pretty much all in positions of seniority. Hiring managers, Senior Engineers, Lead Developers, etc. And a lot of the mentors are recruiters for these companies as well. They show you exactly what managers, and recruiters are looking for in a candidate. It’s like a cheat code to your job search. The mentors really have your best interest in mind which is reassuring. There is a wide variety of mentors to meet with. Anything you would want or need to know about the job your going for they can provide you with. I’ll add a few caveats / bullet points to my experience below.

- You get out of it what you put into it
- You still have to work hard to find a job for yourself. Don’t expect to sign up and then have Pathrise magically show up with a dream job offer the next week. They provide you with the right tools and training on how to use those tools. But it is still on you to actually go out and put the work in
- Don’t have unrealistic expectations
- They provide you with everything you’ll need to know for future endeavors
- Pricey
- Some promises under their highest tier option could be followed through with much better.

Pathrise is a very helpful and useful company. Hunting for jobs can often get overwhelming, but Pathrise can really help you get ahead I'm this search. They work with you based on where you're at, help come up plans for your search, and offer workshops to practice skills and learn more about various topics related to your search and inevitable job. They have a wide collection of industry professionals who are at your disposal to assist with your job hunt.

Best thing is their payment method! It's really good for those who don't have the upfront money but need the assistance to land that next step in one's career.

I would highly recommend this company if you're looking for a leg up on finding your next job.

I enjoy the one on one session with Pathrise Industry mentors and also the fact that the program is sensitive to mental health issues that fellows may face in their journey. Depending on the job salary, the monthly payments to Pathrise could be pricey! So I think maybe the monthly credits for booking sessions can increase from the current 4. Finally, the main issue I had was the availability of jobscan because it is such an important tool in the pathrise application flow, I think the jobscan or a similar ATS service should be part of the perks provided. I have been using the JobAlytics extension however it is honestly below par.

TLDR: If you don’t have internships under your belt or relevant work experience in the corporate world, this might not be the best place for you.

I joined the Pathrise program in October, ended up leaving 4 months later after experiencing difficulty landed a job. I don’t come from a traditional background in terms of work experience (IE: straight out of college launched a series of small businesses, learned as I built, pivoted directions multiple times).

They pair you with a career mentor and you can pick & choose your industry mentors. Your career mentor helps with your resumes. Your industry mentors help you pinpoint strong and weak points. Industry mentors also help you practice for interviews, case studies, and overall industry knowledge.

You probably want to join Pathrise from the countless “UGC” tiktok ads they’ve been putting out, and their 96% success rate. Well, if you have past internships and/or relevant work experience in the roles you’re looking to get into you might have some luck.

Overall, the service is great, the mentors definitely care about you. Ultimately, it is your decision whether or not to join. However, in my experience I believe this is best suited for someone who’s already gone beyond the first stage of going down the corporate path. I hope this helps someone, Happy Hunting.

I have been truly fortunate to work with Pathrise; they have entirely transformed my job search. As a healthcare professional who recently completed a bootcamp to transition into software engineering, I needed support and resources to help me navigate this change. Pathrise provided just that.

The income share agreement model is palatable at best. However, the total cost has been well worth it for the top-notch resources and industry connections I have gained through Pathrise.

While I am thoroughly impressed with Pathrise, a stronger focus on making high-quality network connections and increased support during the job search would enhance the experience even more. The team at Pathrise has been accommodating, but I would appreciate additional assistance in streamlining my job search efforts.

The dashboard platform is still in its early says technically, but the resources provided are well worth the occasional headache. Additionally, it would be nice if my coordinator didn't ghost me immediately after beginning the program.

All in all, I would recommend Pathrise to anyone struggling to land interviews and/or offers in their chosen field. They will work with you systematically to get you in track to your dream job. Providing all the resources and support you could ever need.

Meeting with industry-centric professionals was truly helpful in my quest to finding new career opportunities. The resume workshops with my coach alongside engaging in mock-interviews with mentors provided me with the tools to succeed.

I started the program in December on the technical track and by January received a handful of competitive offers. My mentor was great because she was very supportive, even after I experienced bad interviews or received rejections. There's a lot of depth and breadth included in the program, so you'll want to be mindful of how you're spending time. The founders care deeply about the customer experience and I felt like any concerns or questions I had were quickly addressed. It's good to fully understand the pricing of the program before committing as that could trip some people up. Remember that it's still challenging to get a SWE job in this kind of market where layoffs and hiring freezes are frequent, but Pathrise will definitely provide a lot of mentorship and support behind you and that matters a lot when you're going into interviews. I definitely felt like I received value from the program and I'd strongly consider doing it again when I start my next job search.

Boy Oh Boy, What a Rip-Off! I honestly don’t even believe the employees of this company believe in the product. I had been considering using Pathrise for some time yet I wasn’t sure if it met my needs. I had a call scheduled twice with an Admissions Manager, in which the second time he just failed to call and I gave up. Finally, I decided to try connecting with someone else and she was extremely helpful. Multiple times this Admissions counselor who was a Team Lead told me that my two weeks wouldn’t start until I met with a Career Mentor, for my free trial.

So I explored the platform for two days, and schedule a call with my Career Mentor. On the day of the scheduled call about 1-1.5 hours before the call, the mentor cancels the call and doesn’t even send me an email, just sends over an updated invitation. I felt that is kinda rude and not really courteous. Then I log into the link and low and behold the time has already started I have 6 days left in my free trial, so the idea that my free trial starts when I have this call is an absolute LIE! They get you into the free trial hoping you won’t see that clicker that’s now on for 6 days. I emailed to cancel my trial because it’s a rip-off and a joke.

Chatting with someone else considering using this service who won’t be using it has said, “I have spoken to a few leaders in the business and they say STAY AWAY!”

Also, so you’re aware this is definitely a rip-off. This company collects a supposed 8% on the program I was being signed up for the trial. 8% of $40,000 is supposed to be $3,200 but they are very shady and shifty because they're collecting it off your base salary and you pay $6,400 so they are collecting 50X more than they would if it was from your annual salary. The same goes for $156,000 per year, 8% is $12,480 and they're collecting $18,000 which is 12% of my income.

This is a rip-off.

Do not go with this company. You can get more information on how to interview from youtube and ticktock than this company. My friend who was in this company said they have a less than 1% interview rate for jobs they apply for. They will say you have opportunities for jobs no one knows about but really most of the jobs they apply for are already expired.

10 out of 10 recommend for anyone looking for a career change! Coming from a small business owner background and transitioning into a technical role was one of the harder move in my career. Pathrise helped me tailor my resume, interviews, and negotiation to start a new career!

Pathrise combines an amazing system of career and industry mentors to help you land your dream career! Pathrise and its mentors will help you every step of the way through your job search. I would highly recommend Pathrise to anyone who wants a career change!

My experience was made excellent by the mentors. My career mentor never failed to leave me with actionable advice on how to improve my resume, job search and my chances at getting interviews. The industry mentors helped make sure I was ready for the interview process, behaviorally and technically.

The workshops were helpful in that they instilled confidence in me that I have what it takes to be a software developer, and it turns out, I do!

I worked with Pathrise from November 2021 till recently. I left without being placed in a job.

Why, then, do I give it 5 stars? Everyone that I worked with was amazing, from the career coaches to the technical support people. Everyone seemed to care about trying to place me and how I could find a better position.

There is always room for growth, but they have recognized that and are always working to grow.

While it didn't work out in the end, I can honestly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a way to help find new opportunities.

I would say that Pathrise is pretty good, but could use some room for improvement. In the tech-savvy preparation especially, I think that Pathrise can do much better. Right now, one of my problems with Pathrise is that while it's very good with helping candidates apply for job, it often feels like you're on your own when it comes to preparation.

Thankfully, meeting with an industry mentor (the technical guys who help with honing your skills) is accessible, but the problem is that they are optional, not required like how the career mentors are.

I think that one thing that would make Pathrise a much more worthwhile experience is to assign us rigorous industry mentors who hold us accountable and make sure that we get Leetcode work done EVERY SINGLE WEEK, just like we meet with career mentors.

Since these industry mentors are already general FAANG (or other companies') employees or alumni, we should also get behavioral coaching from these guys.

Also, Pathrise needs to work on making its Leetcode sessions and other featured programs better at rebounding when an industry mentor leaves.

Example: Mohy Saleh, an industry mentor, left Pathrise and used to coach group mock interviews, and ever since he left, this workshop has not been happening. Pathrise is a good organization, but needs to work on its interaction with the industry mentors, who should be mandatory for fellows to meet with.

On the side, we should have credits to schedule with additional industry or career mentors, but the industry mentors should be much more internally involved in, and running, Pathrise, than they currently are.

Thus, while I enjoy the experience at Pathrise, I cannot give it an excellent five-star rating until this is improved. Furthermore, I do not see how Pathrise is worth 7% of our salary in the meantime as we mostly have on-our-own Leetcode sessions without weekly, rigorous meetings with industry mentors to help push us to a career.

This, combined with Pathrise often being slow to recover sessions lost when an industry mentor leaves (such as the group mock interviews), leads me to the conclusion that, as of current, Pathrise should not be charging 7% of the salary to freshly placed candidates. That percentage should be brought down to 5 until industry mentors are more internally involved.

While there are career resources available throughout the internet, Pathrise combines the expertise of career and industry mentors with a transparent system that promotes accountability throughout the entire job-searching process. It's been a great experience and I have learned quite a lot that will be helpful throughout my entire career.
