I have used MicrogenDX three times so…
I have used MicrogenDX three times so far. Each time they were able to diagnose an infection that the doctors office wasn't able to. With more and more antibiotic resistant infections I think this need will keep increasing in the future. They were able to narrow down specific infections and recommend the correct antibiotic each time. The information is related to your doctor as well, you aren't left alone to decipher the results.

Customer service was exceptional & the test results arrived in 24 hours. It revealed antibiotic resistance to the bacteria that I currently have ( which is a HUGE HELP)!

I would highly recommend this company
I would highly recommend this company. These tests will show much more in your urine than just a culture. I’ve used it many times and they make it easy to do. They ship the kit to you and you return your urine in the mail in the same box the kit was mailed to you. Within 48 hours you will have your results. It’s pricey but well worth it.

The idea of blowing into a kleenex and…
The idea of blowing into a kleenex and taking a sample from it seems unsanitary and likely is corrupting my test I assume. I touch the kleenex, it gets particles from my hand on it then I am supposed to roll the swab in it. I paid a lot for a test and there is no way I can trust the results with your approach. Why not have people insert it in their nostrils like a covid test? doesnt that work better than a polluted kleenex sample?

To clarify, the SinusKEY collection instructions go through a rigorous internal and external review process and have been validated to consistently produce viable samples. We'd encourage you to call our Customer Service team at 1-855-208-0019 and they'll be happy to walk you through the process and answer any questions.
We recognize that the kleenex method seem odd, but our internal validation testing showed that we receive higher bacterial loads from samples collected in this manner compared to typical nasopharyngeal swaps. Consider that most nasal swabs only come in contact with the inside of the nose, while blowing into a tissue can dislodge mucus and bacteria from your sinuses, providing a better sample that's more representaitve of the sinus. Combined with the reduced risk of self-harm when compared to self-collected nasopharyngeal swabs, we have elected to make this the preferred collection method for SinusKEY.
As a point of reference, MicroGenDX holds CAP, CLIA, and CLEP certifications, independent regulatory and accreditation validations that ensure our testing meets or exceeds national and industry standards. We take the accuracy and integrity of our testing seriously and are confident in our methods. We encourage you to reach out and we hope we can restore your confidence in the process.

Everything went smooth as silk
Everything went smooth as silk! I was a little anxious to get the results, but I'm ultimately glad I went through the process as I learned a LOT and can now take measures to get things addressed, as appropriate. The customer service was great! I had a question about taking the test and I was able to call and get my question answered quickly and without making me feel embarrassed.
