Hefin sorted out my computer problems and explained what I had to do

Hefin responded quickly to my request for help. He diagnosed and explained clearly the problem with my computer, helped with the choice of a replacement computer and completed the set up. A subsequent problem was sorted quickly and efficiently. I would recommend PC ResQ.

After making contact with PC ResQ.
Hefin turned up on the agreed day and on time. I had PC ResQ booked in to set up a new laptop with all the information from old laptop. NO BIG deal some would say: I could not back up my old information. Hefin spent 20 to 30 min going through all the information in front of him, then came back to me with series of easy to answer questions about what I needed transferred and saved on the new laptop. Hefin right from the start made suggestions which programs were better to use how to use them quicker and easier for a non-teccie person so it was all easily understandable and easier to follow.
I did throw Hefin a curve ball and asked him to set up a 2nd laptop as well but for the 2 laptops to function together, he looked at his watch checked his next appointment time, I think he sent email to next client and said yes he could carry work on the 2nd laptop.
Now I have 2 laptops running super smoothly and easy to use.

Hefin was as prompt and reliable as ever in responding to my request for help. He sorted out my printer issues speedily, efficiently and with good humour. He never blinds me with jargon!

I recently requested a visit from Hefin to ask him for help with my late husband’s Apple Mac computer which was solely in his name and which I needed transferring solely into mine, creating folders for his music, documents etc for the iCloud which I was totally unable to do being a total technophobe. Hefin was very patient with me and sorted everything out even setting me up with the printer which I desperately needed to use and had been unable to do so I am good to go! Great shout arranging for Hefin to help!

We have used Pc Rescue several times now and they have always resolved our problems with calm efficiency. Once on their mailing list you get useful guides and reminders that steer you through the ever changing tech world.

I first met Hefin Harries of PC ResQ nearly 10 years ago. He impressed me with his competence, knowledge of computers and systems, and calmness in the face of a quivering jelly (me with dead WiFi).
Since then, he has provided me with support on several computers and networks. He is always punctual, courteous, and up to date. He works meticulously through problems and his approach always brings a positive result.

Having used PC ResQ’s excellent service beforehand I had no hesitation in contacting Hefin again who upgraded my iMac with the latest operating system, cleaned up my hard disk, installed a timed back up system and a new mouse. A further issue was resolved via his remote diagnostics at no extra cost.

Hefin is very knowledgeable, personable, arrives when he says he will, has great communication skills, gives great advice and goes the extra mile to ensure his customers receive a top class professional service which I’m more than happy to pay for. Very highly recommended.

Hefin was quick to respond and very knowledgeable and sorted out my very slow Mac computer with a new hard drive and it’s now very fast. I didn't realise that my files were not being saved to the Cloud but Hefin has sorted that too. I can highly recommend this company

When I contacted PC ResQ they responded quickly and they visited the following day, identified my problems completed the repairs. I was up and running in a couple of hours. Very efficient and friendly company to deal with.

Hefin set up my new laptop and transferred data across from other computers. He was efficient, helpful and certainly knows his stuff. His services do not come cheap but he gets the job done. Cheap isn't always best!

Hefin visited on 5th November and successfully transferred all information/settings from my old (slow and, finally, broken) laptop to a new one that now works perfectly. A job well done. Very professional.

Professional in every sense: After providing an explanation of the process, Hefin immediately got to work setting up and testing a wi-fi and NAS system for our home office, while simultaneously educating a couple of IT-ignorant customers how it works. He provided advice regarding planned future equipment acquisitions and offered to help sort out any hiccups we might encounter while learning how to use the system he installed. He even took time to rectify a problem with a wireless printer that an engineer from a different firm had not set up properly. We will make PC ResQ our first port of call as we develop our office network.
