thankfully i called my bank and did a charge back these are scammers

If I could give it no stars I would! Signed up to use the free trial for one file.. that’s all I needed. After the one file conversion was done, I went into setting to make sure that I cancel so that I’m not charged.. to my surprise, no information was there, the site stated that my account would be set up shortly. It displayed nothing! Of course next day they charge me $70.11 no heads up nothing! I reached out to their support and this is what they sent me!

“our records confirm that a file conversion took place — meaning the service was actively used.

As we offer a 1-day free trial that allows users to test the service for free, and the pricing and conditions are stated on the page before the subscription is started (as well as in email notifications sent when the free trial is started, and after the payment), we do not issue refunds.

Your subscription has already been canceled and no further charges will occur.”

Stay far away from this company, they’re a scam and a scum of the earth.

SCAM ALERT: Misleading $49 charge after a "trial"
Avoid pdf-space.com at all costs! They lure you in with a cheap trial for a single PDF conversion and then secretly charge your card $49 for a monthly subscription without any clear warning. When I contacted their support, they only canceled my access but refused to refund my money. This is a predatory business practice. I am currently initiating a chargeback through my bank. Do not trust this site!

Stay away from this scam service. After a failed one-day trial period where nothing worked, they charged me almost $50. After requesting and eventually demanding a refund due to the service not working and as a formal complaint, they flat-out refused.

I wanted to convert one image from this website, pdf.space is the same one. They say that 1 day is free for conversations, there is no terms, checkbox anything to understand that they will charge me 49 usd monthly. Very disappointed!

The account they created for me which is with an email that I don't own, it's very similar with mine but misspelled offered 3 days trial without any possibility to cancel the subscription or remove my card details because "the account wasn't finished". They charged me today 20$ and when I contacted them they don't offer refunds... Their site is very messy, hard to navigate and all... If I knew I would had cancelled and reissued a new card before they did their dirty work... Always use Revolut temporary cards for disgusting thieves like this.

They make it appear as if you’re only paying $0.50 for their service, but three days later they hit your card with a $50 charge for a so‑called “monthly subscription.” The company does not make it clear upfront that you will be charged $49.50 after the “promotional period.”

I did receive an email confirming my $0.50 payment, but after being charged the $50, I went back and checked the same email. Hidden in tiny, faint gray text was a line mentioning a promotional period and the upcoming $49.50 charge. It was clearly designed to be overlooked.

I contacted support immediately and was told they have a no‑refund policy. They showed zero concern and clearly operate by taking people’s money as quickly as possible before they get shut down. Stay far away.

For anyone else dealing with this, I am currently disputing the charge with my credit union. That may be your only real option to get your money back.

On top of everything, the website is extremely confusing. It took me around 15 minutes just to figure out how to cancel the subscription so I wouldn’t get charged again.

Stealing your money without your consent! God Damn them !

I was charged for a subscription without my consent. I only paid $0.50 for a one-time document service.
I received no email notification, canceled within 24 hours, but the refund was refused.
This has caused me financial difficulties, as the money is important for my living expenses.

pdf space will charge you $0.50 for a page then before you know it, you have a debit order for $49 that you didnt even consent to. when you contact them, they will tell you that they sent an email with all the details regarding pricing and subscription. the only email you receive is after money has been deducted from your account. stay away from this site. they are pure evil. taking even your last money, they dont care

They process transactions through Apple Pay, requiring only an email address—after that, there’s no further communication.

Scammers. I had a very poor experience with PDF Space. I only intended to make a one-time $0.50 payment, but was later charged $49 for a subscription that I did not clearly agree to.

When I contacted customer support, they refused to offer a refund and relied on technical wording rather than addressing the genuine concern. There was no attempt to resolve the issue, listen to the customer, or offer goodwill.

Do not use this service, total sam and dodgy site

This company operates with an extremely unfair and unfriendly customer policy. Their approach toward users is terrible, and the experience is completely unprofessional. I absolutely do not recommend collaborating with them to anyone.

Scammers!! They are terrible at making websites so they need to scam people for a living. Every other free website is 100% better. Avoid them!!!

Scammers - sneaky and unfair, charging you weekly through your ApplePay even though you never subscribed!!! Cancelled my subscription now but lets see if they continue attempting to charge me.

Beware and use genuinely free services for PDF manipulation, there are plenty of them online
