Mixed emotions really. I ordered their droëwors and it was one of the nicest I have ever had. Except, unfortunately, half of it was full of white mould.

I emailed them but never got a reply, but I thought I would bite the bullet and order again because maybe it was just a one-time issue.

The second order arrived and almost all of it was covered in white mould this time. So, I phoned to ask to return it and receive a refund. They were helpful and did refund me after I returned it, but only for that order and not the original, despite me providing pictures of the first batch being mouldy in my original email.

So, all in all, I am around £50 down the drain as I threw half of my original order in the bin, and I wasted some time dealing with all this too.

I've just had the most wonderful bacon sandwich which took me back to my childhood when bacon tasted like bacon! There is more fat then supermarket bacon because the pigs have obviously been allowed to grow and mature naturally. Stunning flavour with no nitrates which is a bonus too! Really good communication as well and I like the fact they only send out on a Thursday to arrive on Friday. A great ethical company, just wish I lived close to the markets they attend!

I made a purchase from Peelham Farm earlier this month, the order was delivered to me a few days later.

I ordered veal breast (at different sizes - 1.5/1kg) that cooked wonderfully. The brisket was very tender. The fat melted quite well and was used to augment the flavour of the veal brisket during the cooking process.

The prices are extremely reasonable both in my opinion and by comparison.

Will order again, God willing.
