Too Many Red Flags for an International Pet Transport Company
I contacted PETS AIRLINES SL / Petairlines.es to ask for information about transporting my dog from Malaga to Mexico, and the whole experience made me feel extremely distrustful.
The first thing that caught my attention was that they claimed to have “10 years of experience”, but when I checked public company information, the company appears as PETS AIRLINES SL, with a very recent incorporation date. On public business information websites, the company appears to have been incorporated in 2026, which, in my opinion, does not match the supposed 10 years of experience they claim to have.
It was also impossible for me to speak properly with anyone in English. A person called Jeff was unable to speak English, his brother Gleiber could not communicate properly in English either, and in the end they brought in a third person who did speak English, but clearly seemed to have no real knowledge of the pet transport business. To me, it felt as if they had simply found someone who could speak English in order to continue the conversation with me, without that person actually understanding the service they were supposedly offering.
For a company that claims to offer international pet transport services, I find this extremely concerning.
I also tried to confirm whether they had physical offices or whether it would be possible to meet with them, but it was impossible. It was just excuse after excuse, with no clear answers.
Another major red flag for me was the reviews. I tried to search for online reviews about the company and found almost no real online history. When I asked them about it, they sent me a link to a review page where the address did not seem to have any clear connection with the company, yet there were people leaving positive reviews. Personally, it all seemed very strange and unreliable to me.
When I searched further, the only comments I found online were from people claiming they had problems or felt scammed. I could not find any solid track record, clear presence, or verifiable history that gave me confidence.
Personally, I would not leave something as delicate as the transport of my dog in the hands of a company that does not transmit transparency. The lack of clarity about their real experience, the difficulty communicating in English, the impossibility of verifying a physical office, and the doubts around their reviews made me completely distrust them.
In my opinion, everything felt very strange, unprofessional, and full of red flags. I hope this review helps other people avoid falling for this type of shady setup.
