It worked out eventually
I needed a letter for CA, but I am moving from NC, so I needed a dual-licensed provider for my letter. Initially, it was a little rough getting this conveyed to them. But I quickly found one in their system and got my letter days later.

This is review is ONLY about a specific customer support agent, Agustin W. My experience with my pettable clinician has been nothing but spectacular and she will get her own separate review. I was informed by email, sent May 25th 2025, that I was in my renewal window which expired June 24th. Imagine my surprise when my clinician told me my letter has expired. I had already scheduled an appointment and was billed, then was informed I needed to be in my state of residence for my appointment to take place. My clinician cancelled my appointment for me well outside the 24-hr notification window, as I was going to be out of the country. When I saw I was still charged $99 but had no credits applied to my account, I reached out to customer service. I stated the error in their system and was continuously met with denial that there was no error. Even until the end, when they finally waived my reschedule fee ‘as a courtesy’ , Agustin W. would not admit there was any wrongdoing on the behalf of pettable even provided with proof of said email that stated when my renewal due date was. Do not let customer service lead you to believe you are wrong, take screenshots, save emails and conversations to prove they are incorrect. All that was needed was an admission of an error and all would have been fine. Agustin W, you are too prideful to admit fault even with provided with concrete evidence of an error or raise the issue to a supervisor as requested in email.

This is a scam service
This is a scam service. They use a 3rd party therapy and psychiatry site for the letters, but they are not legitimate. Most apartment complexes are not aware or do not care enough to did into it. After paying nearly $200 months ago, they began charging me for a subscription I never signed up for.

Pettable is great if you want a BS ESA…
Pettable is great if you want a BS ESA letter. They will give it to anyone. I would not recommend working with Trish or Gina at Receptive Health. Both are extremely difficult to schedule with, and Gina is especially unprofessional. If you want a genuine letter unique to your situation, this isn’t the way to go.

Impressed with my experience
I'm really impressed with my experience using Pettable! It is very straight forward, user friendly, and the response time is so quick! I was paired up to speak with Kya Miller, LICSW, LCSW, and she is amazing! She is very friendly, easy to talk to, and she listens very well. My housing letter was well written and matched what we spoke about. I'm now waiting for approval through Petscreening.com but overall great experience!

Extremely disappointed in the service
Extremely disappointed in the service. I just paid $14.99 a month for the past year so that I would be able to renew my ESA letter this year. I filled out my renewal form last week as I need it renewed for moving in another week and they NEVER reached out to me after I filled out my renewal form. I had to call customer service where I was told the provider who did my evaluation last year was not available anytime soon. And the soonest opening with another provider was not available for another week, which would be too late for me move in date. Pettable failed to reach out to me after filling out my renewal form to even attempt to get me scheduled or to let me know about availability. I had to contact them and chase them down only to be told they can’t help me. Would not recommend.

WAS REJECTED THE SAME DAY I RECEIVED IT
I paid $199 to get an ESA letter within 24 hours and it allowed me to connect with a therapist the same day. While I did receive the letter, as promised, it was rejected in an hour because "It appears that this documentation may have been obtained through a website that advertises ESA and service animal letters for sale, where anyone can obtain a letter by answering some questions on the site, submitting payment for the letter, and maybe having one short phone call with a provider to follow."
So, either the therapists or pettable need to have better "templates" or not even use them, because it was flagged so easily. I hope they're not lying about my refund, because it was rejected the same day I received it.
