Terrible Customer Service for Food

I have recently ordered food from pickMe for my father. That food was never received to him, but pickMe status from the driver was delivered.

I have complained about this matter few times (both calls and text).
But the pickMe agents just keep closing my incident ticket without trying to solve it. Once they have mentioned that they will arrange a refund, which never received.

More than food, I want to highlight the terrible customer experience.
I won't recommend pickMe for ordering food as there is no OTP system and no good customer service.

Think twice before you place an order with this company for food.

Can i know why pick me account was…

Can i know why pick me account was blocked totally under 077****147 . Can why can't i add my payment card in to your payment option. I live in Finland and I am using puck me for quite long time. I have sick mom in Srilanka. I need book trips for her from here. Why this process is not smooth ? Always the driving canceling trips if the payment is not in cash. What service is this?

Ok for short journeys but got scammed…

Ok for short journeys but got scammed going to the airport. I booked PickMe for my friend who was flying back. The driver arrived and when he realised the person who had booked wasn't in the car the price charged was much higher than the quoted price. I complained and they said I had chosen the wrong airport. Then they said that I hadn't selected the route with the tolls, even though my friend paid all the tolls herself.

Irresponsible work by PickMe

I booked mini van pick my daughter and her friend from a hotel in Kaluthara a day earlier. In the last minute they said no drivers available and cancelled the trip on their own which was really shocking. I couldn’t imagine a taxi company can do a thing like that putting us in a very difficult situation. I thought I will never go on pick me again on such an irresponsible people.

The pickme app works fine but too expensive

The pickme app works fine, you find a driver he finds you so far so good. I had a rather long ride that was estimated to 26.000 lkr but he ended up charging me 33.000 lkr.
I complained to pickme but did not get any response.
So do not use for long trips

Terrible Customer service

I downloaded the Pick Me app and it continuesley froze when I tried to enter the payment information. After several attempts, my number was blocked. I called the customer service three times. Each occasion the response was that we will raise a ticket regarding this matter. But, never resolved the issue. Terrible customer service!!

Most of the cab drivers nowadays don't…

Most of the cab drivers nowadays don't put AC during the ride and when we request to put, they start complaining, this specially happens when ladies go as passenger since they are helpless. These drivers become rude when asking after paying for the ride. It's terrible and please train your staff properly. This is bad for the company and the passenger are at risk.

unsatisfactory food delivery

we didnt get our ordered food and we werent informed about the cancellation until we called the hotline service because of the 1 1/2 hour delay.and they told that the driver has accepted the order but canceled last minute
if your'e cancelling an order let us know beforehand!!!!

Unsafe situation

We booked a PickMe from a quite crowded tuktuk spot in Kandy. The driver accepted the tour quickly but the tuktuk with the licenceplate we booked was standing there, empty. The app informed us that the driver was there (as the tuktuk was) and we would have to pay a fee to cancel the booking. We were aggresively approached by many other drivers, while we waited for “our” driver to appear, or cancel the trip. We, two women, waited for nearly 20 minutes, in the evening. This felt very unsafe. I loudly claimed that I would be reporting the situation and then, finally, the driver cancelled the trip, so we could book another driver, without getting hustled for the fee. I know this is about hustling money from us, but we felt very unsafe with the aggressive drivers, while we had to stand there and wait at the tuktuk we ordered.

Disgusting, Unethical Driver

1/ A friend booked the taxi. Intial estimate was 31 km Rs. 3300, a mini
2/ Before starting he wants cash and not card
3/ Journey starts and immediately says can you cancel and pay cash to him, so that he dosent pay 40% to pick me. Pay on the screen shot. Refused
4/ Kept insisting on taking highway saying, you can claim. None of his business, Refused
5/ Ending the price is Rs 4100 and 39km s. Obviously the location didn't move . When questioned, says he has nothing to do with it, says PICK ME does it.
6/ When given Rs. 4500, he gives 200 back saying no change conveniently. Client somehow finds cash to settle Rs. 4100

Is there any policy that you don't accept Complaints about riders???and the customer support team should be somewhat supportive for the customer. But they just ignore if a complaint is made.

I've booked a ride on 23rd august 2023 for my brother, through the "for a friend" option. And in the app the location was correct. A TUK rider named Dayan (AAS 2674) accepted the trip and in the app he was 6 minutes away. When the rider called my brother he has told that he's in Battaramulla. So we asked him to cancel the ride as he's far away.. but he didnt. And when i called him he scolded me that who am i to call him and he has no option to cancel it..he isn't even aware that there's an option to book rides for a friend. so i said then okay i'll do it. and again he has called my brother and scolded him as well.

and then he started the trip, ended the trip changed the drop location to another address and it has entered as i've paid in cash as well.. how is that even possible.

When i call the customer care to lodge a complaint, they just ignored it and said that it's my fault that i've entered the drop location wrong. But i wanted to lodge a complaint about the rider because he scolded me with harsh words. but again they were pointing at me about a wrong location.. I've all the screenshots and records of the whole booking .and the customer support was like okay our team will get back to you..but no complaints lodged, no response

FIRST TEACH MANNERS AND ETHICS TO YOUR SO CALLED CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM.

I don't know that you'll block me from using pickme because something similar happened to my husband when using pickme food.. IF YOU'RE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM CANNOT SUPPORT IN ANY WAY,JUST CLOSE THAT DEPARTMENT....

Expect to be scammed by drivers constantly!

I’ve never experienced so many issues with a taxi app. My partner and I used it whilst travelling in Sri Lanka as the prices were very reasonable but we had nothing but issues and every ride we took felt like a battle. We had drivers cancel on us without reason. We had drivers try and scam us out of more money. One drivers phone died during our trip so he couldn’t end the trip when we reached our destination, so he tried to get us to cancel the trip on our side and pay in cash. We explained we couldn’t do this as we didn’t have any cash on us which is why we selected card payment before booking the trip. We waited for a few minutes but his phone ‘wouldn’t charge’ even though we saw him switch it on and off again. He then told us he would end the ride when his phone came back on. We then saw on the PickMe map him driving around town to bump the price up before ending the trip so it cost us nearly double. Another driver purposely took a longer rout so we had to pay more. Another driver tried to tell us the price from one place to another was wrong on the app and it was an extra $8??? It was hell! You do have the ability to complain via the app, but we had to complain so many times and they don’t even refund you properly they just give credit to your account which is useless if you’re on your way home. Honestly such an exhausting process being constantly scammed by the drivers. We maybe had only two good rides the entire time we were in Sri Lanka.
