Very thorough. My agent gave me some good advice about Israel and how to navigate through. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the price was extremely appropriate. There were churches offering trips to Israel but they seemed to be much more money. These are the reasons why I went with Pilgrim Tours. The tours might be different now, but we paid for lunch maybe twice and all the rest of the meals were included, which allowed us to purchase more souvenirs.

I went on the Exodus (Jordan, Egypt, and Israel) tour. It was wonderful. The guides were amazing, funny, and kind. It was a great atmosphere and it was very interesting the way the presented the history.

This tour was impeccable in every way. It was "The Footsteps of Paul and John" and took us through Ephesus and Sardis in Turkey and Philippi, Patmos, Crete, the beautiful blue-topped Santorini, Corinth, Thessalonica, Athens (Mars Hill - Acts 17; Acropolis) and so many other key sites in Greece. It covered land and sea - the beautiful Aegean Sea! One of tons of highlights was the fact that our tour guide was Grecian with an in-depth knowledge of Scripture and ancient Greek Mythology; his knowledge of mythology gave us some amazing understanding of the culture leading up to and in the early Church Age. The schedule was always spot-on and all other travelling details were just super, including the food and a stopping point at a Turkish home where the lady of the house prepared a meal; and a stopping point at a Turkish run factory and major supplier (some commercialism worked into in but in an interesting and informative manner!). TAKE THIS TRIP if you can; you will be BLESSED! We felt as if we had walked some of the many steps of Paul and John!!! Cheers!

I took a trip with Pilgrim in June of 2018. We went to many sites in Israel. It was the trip of a lifetime. I am sure that I will never have a trip that will live up to this one again unless I go back to Israel. Our tour guide Mickey was fantastic.

The tour and tour guides were fantastic. Both were very informative and helpful. I loved Egypt and if i are allowed I am going back to Egypt. There is really no way to describe Egypt or Israel. You have to go there and Pilgrim Tours is the only tour company I would consider.

We traveled with Pilgrim Tours my sister and I we did footsteps of Paul and John in April and May 2019 it was very good very good I gave it a four-star and I would again our flight to Istanbul Turkey was not exactly good but that was kind of on our own travel.
Our tour group included about 20 people which was a little much but as far as hearing lectures it seem to work out OK.
Hotels where we stayed for the most part I would give them a 3 to 4 star rating.
Food was OK most of the time.
Sometimes the tours were fast-moving but the guides were informative I felt that it was very helpful to have studied ahead of the various places that we traveled.
Buses were very comfortable for the most part.
I think in the future I might try to do this trip again same one.

My dream had always been to go to the Mediterranean area and to Biblical sights.
We chose to go on the Journeys of John and Paul with Pilgrim Tours!
It was Fabulous in every way. We were meet at the airport and taken to our destination in Turkey, once there every detail was taken care of. The tour guides were the best and gave us the tour we had always dreamed of from not only a strong Biblical stand point but a historical stand point. As a student of the Bible and a history teacher it was just what I needed and wanted.
I am ready to go back!!!!

Chose Pilgrim for our Israel Tour for May 2019 based on reviews I had read. We were not disappointed. Every detail was taken care of. We had an excellent tour guide, Avi Levi, who we all fell in love with and a great bus driver who kept us supplied with cold water. We had absolutely no complaints. The hotels and food were great! Do not hesitate to choose Pilgrim. Their agents from the beginning are top notch to deal with. We are currently using a Triple A agent for a Viking Cruise and it has not been a good experience as compared to the service from Pilgrim. In fact the 4 of us have booked the Italy/Oberammergau trip with Pilgrim in 2022.

In 2018 our family of 5 went on the Exodus Tour with Pilgrim. We are Canadian and there aren’t a lot of these kinds of tours within our budget. I spent quite a bit of time researching various tour groups, mindful of both experience and safety-we are so glad we went with Pilgrim. While I love the variety of experiences in each segment of our tour, I was blown away with the rich Christian history in Egypt. Each tour guide was amazing with their knowledge and personal touch. We are looking at the Footsteps of Paul tour with Pilgrim, once travel restrictions lighten up. Our daughter’s were 18,16,14 on this trip and we have wonderful lasting memories.

My entire experience was excellent. In booking the tour the consultant was honest and and made me feel at ease with my concerns as a single woman traveler. The tour itself was super. Our guide knew equally well the Jewish and Christian history and sites we visited, and presented the pertinent scriptures right before we saw them in person, so our historic imaginations were really active. It’s very affordable for all you see. My tour was 10 day to The Holy Land,
with a baptism opportunity in the Jordan. I

Our experience with Pilgrim Tours exceeded our expectations. Though we have travelled quite a bit, it was the first time we utilized a tour and we are so thankful we did. Admittedly, we were a little skeptical that it would cramp our style. It didn't. We had a terrific trip and Pilgrim was an excellent partner. Our registration and travel arrangements were smooth and there was plenty of good communication. The tour was excellent and also was incredibly smooth. Our guide was extremely engaging and well informed. We learned so much. He and our bus driver were awesome at getting our group to sites ahead of the crowds so we could enjoy them as much as possible. The value of this cannot be overstated. We packed so much into each day. Pilgrim didn't just match the itinerary, they even added a few extras in. Sadly, in just over a week it is impossible to see everything, just more reason to go back! But, we were delighted and surprised at just how much we did see. The days were full, but each ended with plenty of good food and very nice accommodations. Many have asked if we felt safe traveling to Israel. We always did, so don't let fear stop you from going. We will cherish the things we learned, the new friendships we formed, and the memories we made for life. Experiencing these ancient sites brought the Bible to life. The Exodus trip was indeed a wonderful experience. Words cannot describe how I felt walking the path where Jesus walked. It was spiritually uplifting. I would go back again .

I have found Pilgrim Tours Top Notch! I don't think there is anything they could improve on. They were extremely helpful and friendly through the booking process. They made good suggestions and found good prices for our airfare. And the tour? Superb! Very well organized and great staff for our tours. I would definitely pick them for another tour.

Petra & Israel 18 Day Tour, May 2018
Pilgrim Tours arranged a complex tour that was 3 tours in 1. Petra/Jordan, standard Israel, and 3-day supplemental Israel. This was our 3rd tour of Israel. As usual, Pilgrim provided curbside service throughout the 18 days. Accomodations were 1st rate, the days were full, but never felt rushed, and the food was predictably excellent. The main Israel guide, Olga, a Russian Jewish Christian, was the best my wife and I had ever experienced. We'd go back again just to have her leading. The supplemental, final 3-day tour with Ronnie was just O.K. He was not as informative as other guides we've enjoyed with Pilgrim.
We were scheduled to take the Churches of Revelation and Passion Play in 2020 with Pilgrim Tours, but it was postponed until next year. So we're counting the days all over again :-( (sigh)
One other tour of note with Pilgrim was the Reformation Tour in 2017. It was outstanding in every way. Various pastors on the tour led devotions each morning on the bus as we travelled to the day's 1st destination. The highlight was staying overnight in Wittenberg and then walking through the Wittenberg Church door on the 500th anniversary of Luther's posting of the 95 theses. It's simply thrilling to review our pictures. Pilgrim does it best!
We can't recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I went on a Pilgrim Tours trip to Israel. Pilgrim was top notch from making the reservations until we arrived home. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered every question for all of us. We experienced and saw more than we ever expected. The price of our tour was so much less than all the others we had checked out. All-in-all it was an amazing experience that was so interesting and life changing. We are saving to go again and we will definitely be booking with Pilgrim Tours!

We were welcomed by representatives of Pilgrim Tours at Ben Gurion Airport, led through Security, and introduced to our Tour Guide Hela Tamir. Lovely drive through Tel Aviv to Natanya on Mediterranean Sea. Our tour Guide Hela Tamir was delightful in every way. She was with us every waking moment. All surprises were welcomed; no glitches or unpleasantness occurred. Hela was concerned for our safety, heath, well being and total satisfaction. She responded to individual needs of the each person. For example, physical abilities were allowed for in various venues. Emergency medical needs of two of the participants were handled professionally. Hela was knowledgeable of: history, site importance, Biblical significance, economics, geography, relevance to present, and I could go on. Hela is a spell-binding story teller who can take you back to any place or time in Israel's history. But you get the idea. Hela knew 40 times as much as there was time to tell it. All accommodations met or exceeded our expectations and were as advertised. Food was delicious, abundant, colorful, local and International. Our itinerary was accurate and exceeded our expectations. I would be in Israel right now touring with Pilgrim and Hela except for Covid 19 restrictions. My 88 years of age would not deter me.

I absolutely LOVED the Best of Israel tour! My trip was a group experience with my church. Pilgrim Tours provided detailed information for preparing for the trip even down to the weather, luggage size, and electrical converters. Our group did experience difficulties with the airlines, who for part of our group, our luggage did not transfer at the NY layover. We had to go to the baggage claim and re-check our bags both on departing and returning from Israel. The other difficulty was we were split into two groups, one of which had both layovers (leaving and returning in NY) being exceptionally lengthy (9 and 10 hours long)! The other group not so much. I am not sure if this was a Pilgrim Tour oversight or due to the limitations of the airline.

The tour itself in Israel was exceptional! Our Guide absolutely made the trip! He was incredibly informational, relayed many spiritual aspects, and pointed out the implications of this special place. Even more, he and our exceptionally skilled driver, were appropriately personal and professional. We even had to be rerouted due to weather conditions. We also had a "bobble" with the substitute guide required for one of our stops, which caused our schedule to be adjusted. These were well managed, at least to us!

The accommodations were gracious and the meal arrangements were well taken care of. I was so excited to have olives for breakfast every morning! As a group, we were well taken care of and I can hardly wait to return. Thank you, Pilgrim Tours for the tour of a lifetime!

My trip to Greece & Israel was memorable and moving to walk where Jesus walked. It was a bit rushed though I understand you want to fit in as many sites as possible. Would have liked a little more time at some stops.

My husband and I traveled to Egypt, Jordan and Israel with Pilgrim Tours in Nov.-Dec. 2019. It was a wonderful, safe and comfortable experience from beginning to end. Pre-trip support was thorough and very helpful from cultural information to reading list for. Inquiries were answered promptly. Travel arrangements were flawless. We were even met at the airport in Egypt and ushered through customs by a Pilgrim representative. The tours were fascinating and life changing with leaders who were exceptional both in their knowledge and their love for their countries and history. We felt we saw a genuine slice of life in each country, but were also safe. I would highly recommend Pilgrim Tours and will travel with them again as soon as possible!

I went on the Best of Israel 10 day tour in 2019. The service was great. Everything was done perfectly. Once we landed in Israel, everything went like clockwork. The transfers to hotels, entry to sites and meals were wonderful. I came back from this outstanding tour so excited that people from my church wanted to go. I organized a group of forty to go in March 2020 but that was cancelled because of the pandemic. I am putting another tour together for 2022 to go back to Israel. Pilgrim Tours is working with me and I would not use anyone else to take care of my group. The help that I received when booking my initial tour as well as the work done in putting together my planned group tour was above anything I ever expected. Now the help I am getting in organizing another tour is also outstanding. The people at Pilgrim Tours know what they are doing.
