Really excellent support from Pittis during my journey of buying a property. The whole team are very supportive, with particular mention to Jo in the Shanklin office and Ben, who accompanied us on many viewings, who both went out of their way to be accommodating, helpful and professional through the entire process.

Even though the property I ended up buying was with a different agent, Pittis supported me in meeting with their in house mortgage advisor, who gave excellent advice, and continued to check in unobtrusively to make sure everything progressed well.

Id absolutely recommend Pittis for both the viewing and mortgage experience and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I have very little faith in estate agents particularly when it comes to valuations, and this was confirmed by a recent visit from one of your agents.
The agent arrived on time, but I detected a negative attitude from the start, harping on about the state of the market and how house prices have fallen. As if I am interested? After all, I feel that this is a plot to get a quick sale and commission. Not at my expence!
It would appear that the agent had decided beforehand on the valuation based on "similar" properties, (of which there are none) without viewing my property or hearing the history. No interest was shown when I explained the improvements to the property. Needless to say, the valuation I found insulting, and I wonder what these agents are paid for?
Is there no-one any more who can value a property on merit and give a genuine valuation without comparison with "similar" properties?
My house is a re-build in a rural location, everything new, surrounded by half an acre of land and backing onto fields, and with no immediate neighbours.
When I queried the valuation, I was referred to a couple of similarly priced properties in the "area", (one 3 miles away). Both were older urban properties, with next door neighbours and no land.
I have since obtained two more valuations, much higher, and one from a professional surveyor

Cannot fault them at all. With no preferred location on the IOW I found several properties on the island in my range. Jo Lacey in the Shanklin office was amazing giving me a well organised itinerary over 2 consecutive days. She was quick and eager to clarify any queries and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Hence and happily I found the house I wanted with thanks to all the staff involved in the various Pittis branches and in particular Ben in the Sandown branch and especially Jo Lacey in the Shanklin branch.

We put our house in Shanklin on the market and as a result of the hard work from Jo, Coral and Bex at Shanklin Pittis it sold in a week for the full asking price .The team kept us informed at every point in the process and were always friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them .

We went to view rental property yesterday when we met Kristopher from the Ryde branch. Although we didn't proceed with the property, Kris was fantastic. I think he could tell from experience that the property was not for us, but all through the viewing we was friendly yet professional. He was extremely informative about the new rental legislation coming out in May. All in all, a fabulous first impression of Pittis, ably represented by a very approachable young man.

Jo at Pittis Shanklin is a friendly professional and with great local knowledge, nothing too much trouble.

Spoke to Charli McHenry today about buying property on the Isle of Wight. She was incredibly helpful and it was lovely to speak to someone who treated me like a person not just a potential fee! Imogen at Pittis Ryde office has been amazing for myself and partner to find a long term rental flat in Sandown.
From the moment I registered with Imogen on the phone I could tell she was the one. She made everything seem possible and glowed with positivity.
