No Human Beings in Customer Service??
Bought a sweater described as cotton & it is actually 100% wool and had been dried in a dryer. “My purchases” page suddenly showed that I had made no purchases so no way to return it. Customer service has been NO help, taking days just to respond , and then sending me through more hoops that don’t solve the problem
What a freaking joke
What a freaking joke. I bought a shirt, and only when I received something completely different. I saw that the seller had messaged me and told me that the shirt that I bought was no longer available. So they just sent me some old enormous rag. What did Poshmark support do? They told me that I have two days to send that piece of garbage back. When I told them that I’m away on a trip for a month, they could not care less. They gave me some ridiculous speech about how they’re trying to support their sellers. So a seller is scamming me, and they could not give a rat’s ass.

Nightmare with Refused Return
I purchased a Kate Spade bag and decided it was too small for me to use. I expected to be able to do a simple return but even after sending a number of sets of photos to document my purchase, no stated return policy, and a convoluted website to initiate a return, I was refused a return. So, I have a bag I cannot use and am out almost $200. I never have this problem with Amazon, eBay, or etsy which I use all the time.
Buyer beware buying misleading listings and low quality
Buyer beware site... expect to go through many hoops to get reimbursed from either Poshmark or chargeback. Persevere else bad sellers will keep misleading buyers. Seller sold a wallet stating it was premium leather. It was not. Cobbler and another leather company evaluated and said it was cheap faux simulated item and nothing real about it (the glue from Goodwill sticker was still visible). Poshmark refused return saying you have to ask sellers more questions (guess don't rely on their photos or what they shared) because it misleads a buyer. This being the worst purchase, we've given up on this platform. Buy on another site with better buyer protection (although this seller cross lists on one of them) and is probably seeing issues there so moved to Poshmark. RUN from buying here as it is hit / miss and long shipping delays, stock photos, and even when a size is given beware because many times item is shrunk! RUN. Hold onto your wallet. We are no longer buying on the platform and don't care if they ban us. Low rating of ZERO

Recently purchased a handbag. Seller shipped item. Made it to my state and then got returned to the sellers state. Then the purchase was marked delivered. And back in a state of delivery back to seller again. Please check your sellers out if they don't at least have one ambassador star I would not recommend buying from them. You will not see your purchase. There are scanners manipulating the postal system to show items delivered by a program they are now using. If this accidentally happens call you payment method immediately and have a provisional deposit back to your account. Screenshot every conversation. Tracking information as well. Don't get scammed
Ordered pants that never arrived 2nd order empty used jar
Ordered pants that never arrived. They canceled the order when it was supposed to have been delivered. Saw them posted again for about $70.00 more. Okay.
Second order: tattoo concealer. One jar was completely empty and used. I could get a refund if I sent the product back. Waste my time to return it? Yeah, no.

Beware when you purchase on Poshmark
Beware when you purchase on Poshmark . com. I purchased a LV wallet that turned out to be fake, I brought it to the attention of Poshmark and the seller and the seller had me restricted Banned from the site. I only purchased a few items from them and since being banned I have found that there are so many other sites that actually care about their shoppers and won't allow one discredited seller to have someone banned. Super disappointing that this is how Poshmark treats their shoppers. I have taken my business elsewhere.
What an annoying company
What an annoying company. They give the seller 10 days to decide to go and put a package in the mail to you, they want you to open up an account, and even if you don't, like me , they bombard you with emails. Do not give these people your email address.... you're better off paying more money a few dollars more and getting something off of eBay instead of this ridiculously designed company. They even want you to sign up for an account so they can authorize to sell it to get paid just total nonsense with this company that's why you see the reviews that you see.
Even if you report their emails as spam and block them they still managed to bombard you with emails.

Poshmark Does Not Side With the Customer!
Item received was not as described. No response from vendor after 3 request for return. Escalated to Poshmark Management. They sided with vendor after comparison pics received. Ultimately Poshmark clearly wants their money no matter what the customer says.

Unfortunately, this platform used to be like a holiday. I enjoyed both buying and selling. Sellers would do beautiful packaging and made you feel like there was a special gift in the mail. I never had a bad purchasing experience. My review today for sellers if you haven't started selling on this platform DON'T. So many changes, and absolutely nothing accomplished. Buyers, as a seller, sadly the platform has its share of fraud. This should be the focus as of now so that clients can feel comfortable purchasing, yet it isn't...so beware
Poshmark, Not Depop for Me
Have been using Poshmark for a few years. Am flabbergasted by the bad reviews. I was specifically looking to give them a review after looking at reviews for Depop. One girl said she'd not gotten her purchase on 3 things in past month, but the company refunded her. Poshmark doesn't charge you til 3 days after receiving your shipment or as soon as you accept it. I've never been charged for a shipment I didn't receive. Had one seller who wouldn't answer an inquiry about the product posted and asked customer service about it and they looked into it. Love Poshmark, have no intention of trying Depop...Even if the company refunds you, that's too much trouble
Poshmark backs sellers NOT buyers,fakes!!!!
The bag I purchased was fake and damaged. Sent all the picks they asked for. Seller was totally rude and knew they would back her story not mine. They support what their sellers say because that's how they make their money. Lesson WELL learned,will never even look at the sight again!!!!! Don't get fooled!!!!!
Literally nothing good to say
I bought a pair of name brand sunglasses. The lenses were clearly replaced for Rx lenses. I requested a refund, and I was told I needed to take a picture of the sunglasses in front of a page of text so the camera could capture the distortion. Obviously that’s not how that works. My refund request was denied. Fortunately, PayPal refunded me. I left a review for the sunglasses saying that they were prescription, and my review was removed from the website. I’m very happy I can warn others through trust pilot about how awful Poshmark treated the customer.

I have several Michael Kors items that I can no longer fit into, after reading review about Poahmark, I chose them as the format to sell higher priced items to a more knowledgeable and informed group of potential buyers. I sold 1 item during my short stint with Poshmark where I ended up selling my items for pennies on the dollar after low ball offers and Poashmark fees. Didn't even get any view of most of my listings let alone saves to favorites. Takes forever to get paid. You have the choice to purchase seller tools in order to increase sales but that is more expense add to your fee for the sold item. After hour of taking photos and listing items I ended selling a wallet I paid over $100.00 for ended up with about $27.00 after all is said and done. This format is better suited for very high dollar listings. A couple good thing, they will provide you with poly mailers and AI technology gives you really good description assistance for your listings after you upload a photo.
Terrible experience
If I could give 0 star I would. I've had my account since March 2020. I only started posting listings within the last few months as my go-to was Marketplace and I just didn't feel like dealing with another app. After 6 posts, I was suddenly unable to post anymore. Decided to reach out to Poshmark support and was informed, like a few others whose posts I have seen, I had too many restricted accounts and they would not reinstate. I don't need any advice as I have deleted my account and have no plans to go back, but just wanted to inform others of my experience in hopes they don't experience the same!
Poshmark nearly defending liars
I sell on Poshmark and I’m very happy with that side so far, however, for the fees you pay with selling, you would think customer service would be decent.
I just bought from @awkwardgirl2 a pair of “new with tags” jeans that were not tagged and had defective buttons. It took a week to resolve. Poshmark could clearly see that the seller lied in her listing, yet I had to send videos of the buttons. Pictures of the missing tags weren’t enough for them. I reported it to the Federal Trade Commission because I do think Poshmark likes siding with scammers. Clearly this person is making thousands off of defective, liquidated clothing and calling it “new”.
I purchase a YSL bag on Poshmark
I purchase a YSL bag on Poshmark. The bag I received was a completely different color than what was shown in the listing . Poshmark refused my return request and told me I should have requested more pictures of the item to make sure the color was depicted accurately. Posh protect is only for sellers, not buyers so be very wary of purchasing on this site. There is no buyer protection.
You, Too, Can Have a Great Experience
Unlike many others on this site, I have almost always had great experiences with Poshmark. In fact, I’ve purchased some of my favorite clothing items from them. Without exception, I’ve found all the sellers to be very polite and kind—I’ve even received gracious discounts. And although I’ve rarely had to deal with their customer service team, when I have, the service has been friendly, personable, and efficient. I should also add that I’ve never had a bad experience with customer service or shipping, and I’ve only had to contact them to change an address.
Obviously, discount shopping online can be a bit challenging, but to avoid some of the issues others seem to have had, here are a few tips I’ve learned:
1. If you can, look at items on different devices, monitors, or screens, and make sure the brightness is high. Also, don’t rely too heavily on color descriptions. Colors can be deceptive and may appear differently depending on the device. People also perceive colors differently—is it orange, tangerine, salmon, or burnt sienna? Realistically, these are clothes and accessories made by countless companies and manufacturers, and it’s not a simple task to classify them precisely. Poshmark employees do their best, but I’ve found it’s better to rely on the pictures than to search for specific colors or shades.
2. Do your own research on sizing. Look up size charts and measurements for the specific brand. Unfortunately, sizes aren’t standardized in the fashion world, so we can’t expect them to be standardized on Poshmark either. Most listings show the size label—look it up. Also, don’t rely too heavily on sizing descriptions. Not everyone knows how to measure accurately, but you can always look it up.
3. Be aware that sellers are individuals, so interactions may vary. In other words, set appropriate expectations. Yes, sellers are vetted by Poshmark, but they’re regular people, just like you and me. People have bad days, car trouble, sick kids, and health issues. Sometimes it may take a little longer to answer a question or ship an item. Return policies can vary as well. And don’t forget that sellers can be scammed too, so they may be cautious.
4. Take your time and really look at listings. There’s a lot on this site, and while the sorting tools are generally effective, you can miss great finds if you over-filter. Personally, I sort by size and one or two descriptors, and that’s it (e.g., “boho top with sleeves,” “Free People dress”). Yes, it takes longer to go through everything, but I’ve found some amazing pieces by patiently browsing through pages of options. Also, try different descriptors for the same item. For example, if you’re looking for a chunky, cropped, mock turtleneck sweater in cream or white, searching all of that at once may limit your results—try breaking it into simpler searches (e.g., “turtleneck sweater”).
