5 stjerner: Enterprise-funktionalitet til SME-priser
Jeg har anvendt Postale.io's Premium Plus Small-abonnement (ca. 94 DKK/md.) til håndtering af vigtige private og forretnings-emails i seks måneder. Postale.io har givet mig overskud i hverdagen, da jeg migrerede væk fra egen mailserver over til Postale.io med en tro på, at de havde styr på det, hvilket de i min tid har vist de har.
Branded options der styrker troværdigheden
De avancerede branding-muligheder er en gamechanger for mig. Som privatperson kan man god tillade sig, at ens egne domæner kan bruges fuldt ud. Muligheden for at konfigurere custom sending domains, implementere eget logo control panel.
Email logs med retentionsgaranti
Som tidligere mailserver admin, så valgt jeg Postale.io og denes billigste Premium Plus alene grundet e-mail logs-funktionen, der er yderst funktionel. Det har afklaret et par hurdler over tid. Den gviser præcis timestamps, SMTP-koder, bounce-årsager og andre vigtige informationer ned til sekund-niveau. Under en kritisk fejlfinding sidste måned identificerede jeg et leveringsproblem på under 5 minutter via log-filtreringen - noget der tidligere tog timer hos andre providers. Retention-politikken på er også en nice to have options.
Stabilitet og økonomisk rationalitet
For under 100 DKK om måneden får jeg 99,9% SLA-garanti, RESTful API-adgang og Europæisk datacenter-hosting (GDPR-compliant). Kundesupporten er teknisk kompetent, som jeg kontaktede ad flere omgang i starten. Det var ikke på grundt af fejl, men en manglende forstående af branding mulighederne og dens setup.
Eneste ønske: En native mobil app med adgang til mails, men til prisen er dette en minimal kompromis og tilgår bare e-mail via postale.io webmail løsning.
Absolut anbefalelsesværdig for enhver privat såvel som virksomhed der tager email seriøst.

We’re super glad you’re enjoying the branding and log features. Logs are definitely a huge help when you need to better understand a specific issue or email transaction.
Affordability is also one of our cornerstones, and of course, quality of service should always be a given — whether that’s in platform stability or human support.
We don’t provide a mobile app mainly because there are already excellent ones out there (like Spark Mail), and we think we wouldn't deliver a better experience since that’s not our core area of expertise. We prefer to stay focused and build things only when they bring real value. That said, we do provide a mobile-friendly webmail for convenience through the open-source Roundcube.

Simple and easy to use
I like how it is very easy to setup things in postale. The UI is easy to navigate and the instructions to setup DNS records are very clear. And the pricing is very reasonable. The functions also work as expected.

Secure and affordable straightforward email provider
I've been using Postale.io for a couple of years now. My experience has been a great one. The setup was incredibly easy and straightforward. The instructions they provide are very detailed and up-to-date. The security options provided are very appreciated. I love how you get so much with the first-tier option. I love the ability to set up an email as a "catch-all"; this was the type of setup I had before I migrated to Postale.io, and I'm happy to say everything just "works" like it should! I've only had to reach out to support once about a minor question. They returned my email very quickly and provided good detailed information. They even verified a security topic I needed to check.
I've been using their service with my own domain name, and I use Microsoft Outlook as my email client. I also have the email setup on my phone, through Apple's mail app.
Again, everything works exactly like it should. I definitely recommend this provider! Thank you for the continued support and service.

Lack of verifiable response to authenticated GDPR requests
I used Postale.io SAS for professional email services.
Between July and October 2025, I submitted several authenticated Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) — including one verified and relayed through Stripe’s Data Protection Office.
Postale has not provided any verifiable, GDPR-compliant response or evidence of data preservation. Generic acknowledgments or unsupported claims of “having replied” do not satisfy Articles 12–15 GDPR.
The matter has now been formally reported to CNIL (France) and ICO (UK) for investigation under Articles 12–15 GDPR (right of access) and Article 5(1)(f) (integrity and confidentiality).
This review is shared solely to help others evaluate the service’s reliability and compliance posture.
(If a full, regulator-verified response is produced, I will update this review accordingly.)

We did respond to your Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) to the extent possible, based on the limited data that could be verifiably linked to you as the data subject.
You are currently involved in a legal conflict with the owner of a domain name that you previously administered, who has since regained administrative access to their email addresses.
It is important to clarify our role in this context: we are a neutral service provider. We have no means of independently verifying either party’s claims regarding data ownership, and GDPR does not require us to arbitrate such disputes.
GDPR explicitly supports this position:
- Article 15(4) states that the right of access must not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
- Article 12(5) allows a controller to refuse or limit requests that are unfounded or excessive.
Should a court judgment or binding legal order require us to disclose data to a specific party, we will of course comply, provided such data exists in our systems.
We remain fully committed to GDPR compliance and transparency, while also protecting the privacy rights of all users.

Efficient, friendly and responsive.
I switched from another provider, and was impressed by how speedy and efficient everything was. There were a few small DNS glitches to iron out at the start, but the support was excellent. And I'm totally delighted with the service so far. I'm glad I made the switch!

Email Migration
Migration of email from different provider was seamless and having all the data that they were using intact despite the data being in GBs and being able adjust storage from the Admin Account based on ones need is great.
