Please note that email formatting depends entirely of the email client/app you use (Outlook, Thunderbird, Spark, Gmail, ...). We can't seem to find any issue with copy/pasting in our webmail (https://postale.io/webmail).
If you refer to the vertical lines at the left of the previous message when replying from the webmail (a.k.a message quote), you can change that behavior from Settings > Preferences > Composing > Messages > When replying. Choose either "do not quote the original message" or "start new message above the quote (no indentation)".
In any case, thank you for outlining the ease of use, definitely a cornerstone we value a lot! 🙏

Much better than e-mail forwarders
I've tried a few e-mail forwarders because that seemed a quick and easy approach to getting e-mail addresses for a bunch of domains. I found some really simple ones that worked, and a bunch of more complex and expensive ones that didn't, but the simple ones do not offer what I need for a couple of my domains. Then I found an article that said e-mail forwarders are not the approach to take, which resonated with my experience.
I found Postale.io and was pleasantly surprised by the modest price, pleased with the interface for set-up and management, and thrilled that it actually worked as expected. Even Postale's tech support seems wonderful. So glad to have Postale as an option for delivering my e-mail.

We can relate to what you said, as the first version of postale.io was initially built due to a lack of satisfaction with existing services, including email forwarders. It's great to know that you're pleased with what we offer.

So far so good. I moved from Google Workspace to Postale and while you need some conceptual understanding of what needs to be done, the FAQs and help docs provided by Postale contain everything necessary to achieve the switch without too much pain and effort!
