PE - Control Systems Exam Study Material
I ordered study material from the website, but when it was time to pay, the website popped-up a notice that the material wasn't available. There was a note that it'll ship whenever the material becomes available, but there wasn't a timeframe specified. My exam is in 3-months, I'm not sure when or if the material will arrive in time to be useful. Additionally, there was no notification of the material availability until checkout.

PcM exam PASS
I used PPI for my PcM ARE exam, my first ARE exam, and passed within one month of studying. PPI2Pass was my main secondary resource, using the book as an overview of the topics covered in the exam. The online portion was great for scheduling and getting me into a rhythm. The Qbank questions and practice exams were very valuable as well as it provides explanations for the answers. Compared to other online subscription-based resources, the value of PPI2Pass is well worth it. I will likely be using PPI2Pass for all of my remaining exams.

I was disappointed at the structure and…
I was disappointed at the structure and felt overwhelmed with the homework of just reading all the chapters and doing every problem. That approach seems to defeat the purpose of preparing effectively without overwhelming the student. The course in my opinion should be centered around the handbook and solving those type of problems which use the only reference you are allowed to use for the exam. The professor was excellent and it was great to have him for the entire course but I wanted to feel more prepared after taking the class and that just never happened. As a side note it is a very expensive course and should do a much better job to prepare the students but not overwhelm them.

PPI course work is full of busy work.
PPI's course work is full of busy work. I am a professional in my trade, so I do not have time for additional material that doesn’t help me pass my PE exam. Also, the refund policy is horrible. I purchased this course well in advance to my class. The refund policy ensured PPI was able to keep as much money as possible, for a student who didn’t use the course and tried to cancel before the course began. A “30 day” expiration date on course material that doesn’t change from year to year is crazy. Respectfully, anyone wanting to pass their PE should look elsewhere for training.

Purchased book to be shipped and paid $18 for shipping and have yet to receive a shipping notification or tracking number which is frustrating as I have no idea where my order is and I keep getting asked to review it. I understand given the time of year it will take time to get to me but again with what I paid for shipping I would at least expect some sort of tracking.

Lots of practice problems, but terrible explanations.
This is not the program for you if you are like me and have been out of school for a while and need to have a refresher for the FE/PE exam. While they provide a lot of practice problems, they provide a very basic explanation on how to do the problem if you are struggling. The explanations, videos and readings they provide are so basic, you have to google other explanations in order to figure it out. With that in mind, it is a lot of money to spend for the course, which you end up requiring other resources. Maybe just spend on the practice problems cause you will end up looking for other resources anyways.

FALSE ADVERTISING
PPI2Pass is advertising classes that aren't even available. I signed up for PPI2Pass specifically for the class times that they have offered and they cancelled my class only a week before it started, without any prior notification of this and did not offer any alternative options for me. Have been reaching out and they still are giving me the run around.
