pray.com Reviews

I tried the free trail and did not like the product. I picked a story to listen to and it had the same story back to back in two different bible versions.
I reached out to support for a refund and they sent me a link to apple refund that didn’t work. I don’t think someone is assigned to monitor request - it took some time for anyone to respond. (There were other issues where I couldn’t get to anything)
So basically they charged my account for 49.90 and it seems they have removed themselves from any obligation! Don’t buy this product- they are quick in charging your account but take absolutely no responsibility! Emailing links isn’t customer service or standing by your product- why do I need to request a refund from Apple- didn’t pray.com get paid from Apple?

Why would anyone pay for prayer? It's an insult to God and anyone that needs prayers. It should be free, just like going to church. You are a SCAM!!!!

Since I see Pray.com is responding here.. I thought I would try... This company, unfortunately, is a SCAM. I purchased the product for a dear friend and requested a refund as her credit card was required to activate. I have heard nothing from anyone at this company after countless attempts to seek remuneration. It's terrible that in times like this where many of us are seeking to strengthen our Faith, there are those who take advantage of that vulnerability.

Signed up for the free trial and was charged $54 even though we cancelled! Chatted the a bot that basically told me sorry about our luck and to contact Apple... I can’t believe a Christian organization would scam people like this. Apple doesn’t have my money... Pray.com does. It is shameful.

I took out what Pray.com dubbed a “free trial”.
It of course billed my cc . I have sent to this point over 5 emails inside the trial period indicating I do not wish to have a subscription from them, they return those emails with a site that takes you to a robotisized response that , you guessed it says we’ll get back to you . What a run around . Still chasing them around for my money. Until they change their policies and allow you to communicate with someone who can actually refund your money PRIOR to the “free” trial, do not sign up for it, this of course coupled with the fact that they are a Christian App ?? You should be beyond the percieved reproach that you’ve demonstrated so far with me , and Obviously many others , Shame on you .

I have been ripped off! I downloaded the app with free trial and next thing my bank account was charged $81.99. I did not give them my bank details - they charged direct through Apple. This mode of money making is devious and definitely not from God. Pray.com must be stopped.

Do not want this. Tried to find a number to cancel and I can't find one. I feel the same as the others who responded...its s scam.

there is a creepy non biblical based spirit behind this app. do not recommend putting this in your spirit before bed!

If you're a believer in the biblical Jesus Christ please take heed be careful this is a ecumenical platform. That means this could be dangerous and full of demonic spirits. All face are not the same. There is but one savior the Christ of the Bible the one who is not in the grave who physically rose from the dead. Please this is probably not the app for a True Believer in Christ Louis Hahn Sellersville Pennsylvania

Total scam!!! They took $54 out of my account!!! So much for their free trial!!! I will get my money back you have no idea how much this hurts people. Maybe you should try praying yourselves!! I listened to your boring prayers for maybe 2 minutes. Like I said TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!

I applied to the App, Pray.com last night. I found it difficult to navigate as there was only one prayer opened. It says try it free for 6 days. I gave it one star at the time. This morning I found that $49.99 had been withdrawn from my bank account. I was not asked how I wanted to pay for it but Apple charged the amount. I’ve never had this experience with Apple but that may be something Apple does now, however, I still wasn’t aware of how it was to be paid. I’m angry and disappointed that a pay to pray site operates that way. I trusted FOX TV since they ran the ad.

SCAM Don’t Use. it’s free at first and it’s really nice. Then you get a charge for $49.99 for a subscription. Even though you haven’t provided them with any credit card info. So how did they get it?? Then you are billed through another fraudulent site. Do not use this site SCAM.
