Very polite on the phone. They told me my car was one they would definitely be interested in. They asked what I wanted for it, and I told them what I had been offered as a part exchange, what Carwow valued the vehicle at, and what Motorway valued it at.

When the offer finally came through, it was £3,500 less than the part exchange offer I'd had, which, until PCBS's offer, was the lowest.

In their wildest dreams, how did they think I would be stupid enough to accept an offer that was clearly an insult, given the information I'd provided?

Ash explained in detail why the difference and was honest from the off set.
They also went above and beyond and enabled me to keep my personal private plate after the sale (WBAC) would not do this , all they did was hold some money back until the new logbook arrived.
