I honestly cannot thank Aran Patel enough for everything he did for me during the sale of my home and the purchase of my new one. I honestly cannot overstate what a difference it makes having a good estate agent and Matthew at Presidential Estates was exactly that.

Ours was a long, stressful chain with five solicitors involved, and at several points it felt like the whole transaction could easily have fallen apart. To make matters worse, the bottleneck in the chain sat with a well-known high-street agent who were, frankly, completely ineffective. Calls not returned, no urgency, no ownership and no sense that anyone was actually driving things forward.

If it hadn’t been for Matthew, I genuinely don’t think this sale would have completed.

Matthew was relentless (in the best possible way): constantly chasing up and down the chain, speaking to all parties, pushing solicitors, keeping pressure on where it mattered, and keeping us informed throughout. He took ownership of the process in a way that very few agents do and acted as the glue holding everything together when others simply weren’t pulling their weight.

Professional, proactive, and genuinely invested in getting the deal over the line. Matthew went well beyond what you’d expect from an estate agent. I would not hesitate to recommend Matthew and Presidential Estates to anyone who wants an agent who actually adds value, especially in a complicated chain.

Very disappointing experience selling our property. At the start, everything seemed fine, but the process quickly fell apart. The agent, Aran Patel, did not deliver on what was promised, and we were left without payment for our furniture. On top of that, the final fees were higher than what was originally agreed.

What made it worse was that neither Aran nor the solicitor took responsibility for the issues when things went wrong. Communication was poor and we felt completely let down. Selling a property is stressful enough, and this experience only made it worse. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this agent.

Through the loss of my mum, Matthew guided me and my brother through the process of selling her house, Matthew is very personable but also very good at he’s job, if it wasn’t for Matthew’s patience and support the sale of the house wouldn’t of happened so smoothly, he really is one of kind and look no further the Matthew and he’s team at presidential estates. We had our house on with another agent for a few months and unfortunately couldn't sell the property. We were recommended to Presidential Estates and Alex David and it was the best decision we ever made.

Taking on a property which has been on the market for a few months and hasn't sold isn't easy - the initial interest had gone. Alex got right on it - had a full viewing day of 10 viewings a week after we went back on the market with him.

We exchanged and completed on the house within two months of Alex taking us on - which is frankly unheard of and we were shocked at the speed at which Alex pushed through the sale. The agency also make sure that a reservation is paid by the buyer on acceptance of offer - which is very novel in this industry - and is such a HUGE reassurance for a buyer.

Presidential really listen to you, the communication is outstanding and with Alex (and his business partner Matthew) we never felt out the loop or had radio silence, it was daily updates which reassured us. Alex was also able to professionally navigate a last minute buyer curveball (always the way!) with ease.
