We would do business with this company again and can highly recommend them for both their service and products. We ordered a large cowhide. It came sooner than expected and was gorgeous.

Primeland Cowhides origins date back to 1889, when the great grandparents of the current owners started up the business which is considered, as of today, the most renowned company in the tanning of hair on hides in Colombia. Back then, tanning was made using pools as the current processes to perform chrome tanning through wooden barrels were not available. This process, which is the norm today, ensures cowhides quality during for years. Since then, the family business has diversified, getting into cattle breeding in different farms throughout the country which allows us to provide our clients with products from different breeds for multiple purposes. As an example, we owned “Los Tres Potrillos” farm located in Armenia, Quindío, one of the main centers of the Colombian Coffee Region and the so-called "Paisa" region, where its mild weather is ideal for Normande cattle breeding, used both for meat as for leather production. Its cowhides in particular are as internationally renowned as the Colombian Coffee itself. Thank you! Excellent!!
Very pleased with the cowhide pillows. They are a good match to the hide on the floor. They will bring some life to an otherwise bland leather couch. Very high quality finishing and attention to detail.

It’s a lovely pelt, more scars than expected
It’s a lovely pelt. It did advise on the website that being a natural item, you may find little marks, scars or branding on the rug. Mine has at least 5 scars, one being 15cm long. Poor cow. A bit more scarring than I had expected. Perhaps the cost reflects the scarring/blemishes…
It did smell of “cow” for the first 4 days but this faded after that.
I purchased from the menu that lets you choose the exact one. It would have helped to see the “scarred” areas or at least the largest obvious one, as a detailed screenshot.
It arrived very quickly, in fact a day earlier, by DHL who kept me dutifully informed.

Worth every cent!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a 5 Star Review — I was skeptical of quality and even the company because I didn’t see that they had active media pages but I took the risk because they have a good reputation on Etsy (where I found them) and YES! Definitely will be ordering matching pillows and anything else they offer that fits my needs.
Thank you for you products. Unquestionable quality.

Decent quality, mediocre price, but know that returns aren’t easy
Rug is decent but was not cheap so it should be; there’s a defect on the rug that wasn’t pictured online and I was in the process of moving when I ordered it (note: shipping took 2 weeks) so I wasn’t able to unroll the rug and really inspect it until 32 days later. They wouldn’t refund or exchange it, so don’t make the same mistake I made!
